That's why landlords bumped up rental a lot before last provincial election. Just prepare for this stupid idea. If you want to cap rental, please cap interest rate and property tax first.

we definitely need more houses as the U.C.P suggests However in the mean time, we need rent Caps as the N.D.P suggests as it is unreasonable to wait until new houses are build, as homelessness can cause death/ increasing heath care costs and even death. also the U.C.P's thinking does not take into account, population growth. I wonder how many people could die as a result of people being homeless from freezing to death in winter from the U.C.P not thinking, driving up medical costs?222222222222/
