  • Any time someone brings us a race car for chassis setup and custom alignment work, we always appreciate it. When someone is willing to drive HUNDREDS of miles one way for us to do that work, it's a truly incredible honor. To know people trust us THIS much to make such a trip to come see us and have us do what we do, there really is nothing more than we can say other than Thank You!
So what we are working on today, is a Catfish Camaro, with a giant single turbo, and a small tire setup in the back. It WILL be street driven a bit, but this car is specifically intended to go fast in a straight line, go very very fast, and with our help a very straight line.
Custom alignment setups are always challenging because every single car and chassis has it's own unique combination of parts and configurations. Even two identical car and identical parts could have slightly different lived they have led, which leads to slightly different setups. So here we are, back on our Hunter Alignment rack, knocking out another Small tire no prep setup!

That is why you have a lot of race cars in your shop. It is the details that make the difference!

All of the details is why you have so much to do with race cars I haven't seen anyone better at proper alignments, well worth the money spent for someone that cares how the cars work at the track!

Great video! I'm glad that gravity affects other people the same as it does for me!

I'm curious what type of alignment I will need on my 1979 Chevy Caprice two-door. For driving and road course? Basically all aftermarket suspension 2 inches lowered

What ya got on it? Coilover? Springs and shocks? Adjustable arms? Bump steer? What rear axle and suspension parts? There's a lot of pieces to the pie especially when it comes to custom suspension. You'll want a decent amount of caster for stability but no where near what we would do for a straight line car, camber for the turns and we'll want to check the sweep of toe & camber through the travel range. Lots of things to discuss!
