    I had the pleasure of living in KL 2015-2017 as a American expat. KL hands down is the best kept secret in Asia. The people of Malaysia are amazing. KL world class city at 75% the cost of Singapore. Great golf and food for days. I was happy to have visited again this past summer. Hope to retire back in KL soon!

      Usually your local golfing buddies would know the best food outside the clubs.

      I think its more like 40% the cost of Singapore. The house prices over there are over the roof.

    I love KL and I can’t wait to return. I love the Philippines been there several times and my late wife was from there. I want to go back and visit her familia again and explore some places I haven’t been to. But KL is where I truly love and enjoying being at. Visit china town area it’s magnificent and visit the national mosque of Malaysia (maszid negara). It very beautiful and non-Muslims can visit during certain times. But it’s well worth it and they are happy to welcome visitors. The street foods are great which I prefer compared and cheap. You can enjoy some beer, wines, etc and some restaurants and bars. Just not as cheap as the Philippines. Cheers and have fun

    For history.. Indonesian language is derived from Malay language. This is because Malay language was a lingua franca of trade in SEAsia archipelago and easy to be learned by non-speaker. So the language was chosen to be the language of unity to entire indonesia which has a lot of ethnic that speaks different languages.
    Btw. Hope you can stay longer and explore more in the country. 🤗

    Although KL is where I live, I enjoy watching travel vlogs since they provide a range of perspectives on the city. The way you portrayed the locations makes me eager to see them again as I haven't been there for quite a while. If you could remain here a little longer, I think you'll be able to capture more interesting sights for your videos. Make an effort to maximize your brief visit to KL.

    11:10 thats Malaysia or KL in a nutshell - a mixture of everything since its considered a melting pot of different diverse background of culture - which also reflected on the cuisines available
    While being a big bustling city, you can find nature and heritage in each part of the city making it contrast between different vibes. You can see old and new, greenery and skyscrapers in one frame.
    Even if you step outside of the city centre you can find loads of jungles and waterfalls within 15-30 minutes.

    • @ZoeCzar

      There r plenty to explore in KL, have fun. Do try d local street food like nasi lemak n Ramly burger. If u have time, check out d night markets. If u like to see d past, visit d colonial walk n river of life near Dataran Merdeka. If u guys have more time n extra budget, make an excursion trip to Genting Highlands, an indoor n outdoor amusement themed park, sitting on a cool hill. And if u guys like window shopping n eating food at d foodcourts, then visit Bukit Bintang, there r many malls there, d foodcourts in Suria KLCC, KL Pavilion n Lot 10 r quite good. There's also street food from d truck near KLCC called Tapak.

    • @Yasin_Affandi
      @Yasin_Affandi 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      By d way, d Malaysian national language is Bahasa Melayu or Malay language, Terima Kasih is just one of d many words that r commonly used daily n very similar to d Indonesian. Singapore was once a territory of Malaya, now Malaysia. There r also Malays living in Singapore, Riau in Sumatra, Indonesia, n also in Brunei on d island of Borneo.

    There are a few similarities between bahasa indonesia and malay. To be honest, bahasa indonesia has too many borrowed text from english compared to malay language here. Malay language borrowed words from portuguese and sanskrit which is more older. Chinese a bit here and there. Not many from english. Perhaps due to trade long ago in melaka or before that timeline. The oldest city ruin in south east asia is at bujang valley which was hindu. Yes older than angkor wat, borobudur and prambanan. About 2000 years old.
