Look up two wheels in tokyo talking about his APB purchase and upgrades
Yes we follow him and have seen that video 👍 thanks !
Even though mine is original as can get it was hard to read serial #. So good luck. Contact Argos before sand blasting if not too late!
👍
Sackralige ill swap my Derrailer triangle for ur hub triangle, Paul m8 👍
Fingers crossed
Thank you! We are hopeful otherwise part 4 will be a bit boring 😂
Paul could you give progress reports in the comments for those of us following your project?
Hi John, we would but currently no progress to really report 😂 We are waiting for the frame back and currently buying the parts we need 👍 Will do a video as soon as can! Thanks for watching
Obviously you know that this project is going to progress as you are buying parts! So no brainer videos are monetized? So we have to wait! Truth! But we still like to see the video!
Hi John, It's not really about the monetisation (at our level it's pennies really!) it's more that we quite like TH-cam for not having to post regular updates like IG and FB as we get busy in other areas of life if that makes sense. Love your enthusiasm for it though.. We bought rims today direct from Moulton :-) @@johnpot7323
Hi Paul, obviouly the project is going ahead if you are buying amd building parts
Unless resolution on your video didn't show it! I am assuming yours is a much earlier frame than mine so am assuming things have changed over time!
Also know Michael Kater had a Rohloff on a non separable frame. Don't know what happened to that! A perfect choice for the the frame! That was the APB fx8 frame non separable.
My bottom bracket has a 5mm drainage hole. Not apparent on yours so there should be no issue with rust on yours
Ooo interesting!
Hole could be as large as 10mm. Didn't measure!@@veloworks9266
Did you know Magura sell a hydraulic v brake as mentioned by latest video on small wheel wonder who is a brompton owner as well
Yes, and whilst we can see their application for certain disciplines of cycling - they are the most hateful brake to set up 😂 and would be a bit over the top for this
Didn't know you had a knowledge of theses brakes, So looking forward to see what you decide on. Pauls?@@veloworks9266
Sorry no pun intended!@@veloworks9266
Michael Kater gets a mention Person I bought my Moultons from
This reply doesn't make ense because link to Moultonbuzz not uploaded! Michael built a tandem based on an ATB.He inspired George Coulouris to build one based on an APB.
George"s Apb serial # 12
Hi Paul, and Sarah what is the serial # of your APB out of curiosity? Mine is 7847 in the last run produced by Pashley according to Dan Farrell [from memory] when quizzed/emailed.
Thanks for the comments! Not sure if the serial number as the paint was so thick on it. May know when we go to pick it up 👍👍
Serial # stamped on botttom bracket if you go looking!
Hope not sand blasted off!!!
