I know this video is over three years old, but thank you Simon, the very detailed straightforward belt replacement procedure. The orientation of the belt and idler pulley were spot on as my belt PLUS the idler pulley were broken. The additional instructions regarding taking off the top and the front door made a lot of sense, which made completing the job easier. Thanks again. Great job!

Thank you!! Just changed the drum belt and the blower motor belt using these videos! I did go from the back to attach the belt since the back was already off.

Thanks for the video. I replaced my belt. However now I’m the dryer wont start after putting it back together. All wires were put back together properly and the motor worked before replacing the belt. Any ideas?

I was having a hard time separating that molex type connector from the door switch, I was worried about hamming a screwdriver into it so glad to see it working.

My dryer turns on and everything timer goes down like it's drying but of course no heat and the drum is not turning, would it be the belt that needs to be replaced?

Hi. I have the same issue. I opened my dryer and found the belt broken. Was that the only thing you needed to replace?

FYI to all. Black sensor wire goes on bottom. At least that's how mine came wired. Take a pic of wires before you pull them off.

My black sensor was on top, but I disconnected further down so I didnt have to deal with making sure to put them back in the right spot
