Excellent layout. This woman is not one of these fake van lifers. She lives it and has a ton of experience. Her van is very well laid out. The Murphy bed is the way to go.
This was Awesome. I am 65 & trying to figure out what retirement looks like for me. After watching this. If I had this exact set-up I think I could live so happily traveling around the Countryside! Wow! Thanks!
I love how herr Murphy bed has a section that is multi purpose! And so much has been learned from her explanation of why she designed her van the way she did. Thank you for sharing!
I think this is an eye opener when you are undecided about becoming a full timer or a part time.. I don't think for myself or for alot of ppl going into this life style .. they have made it a point to do one or the other. I feel and believe .. it becomes a money issue w/ two living spaces. Most ppl also in this life style have made it a point to downsize tremendously . I'm loving her organization ❤️👍. I really like her Murphy bed❤️👍
Best van build I’ve seen. Would ‘leap’ today if I could afford a dependable high top van and it’s conversion. As a licensed therapist I could work remote so easily but like so many, the upfront $ will forever prevent - but this would be my idea of perfect
Love the Murphy bed, extra wired "just in case", the portion of the Murphy platform that provides extra seating and Penny 😸. Thanks, best of everything for you going forward!
One of the best builds, great use of space though I would have a wet bath probably, or one that is stored inside a cupboard with hooks in the ceiling to hang the curtain. Love it
Thanks for the bike tip. I’ve been going back and forth trying to decide. As you have stated my knees are garbage. A knee replacement accomplished nothing more than the joint issue. Other than that I live with excruciating pain so lifting my leg up and over the bar is out of the question. I had a moped but it was too difficult to get up on the kickstand so I don’t use it. Great build all the way around! Thank you for sharing!
What a great presentation you gave - well done. Also, love the outlay/design and the murphy bed with the multi-purpose seating option - great ideas. The only thing that I would add is a hidden shower (in the floor), but that is just personal preference. Thanks so much for sharing!
I love your van. I think we may be similar in our needs. Just the murphy bed alone allows you so much more room. Then you have the compost toilet w/o a shower. That design versus the one you had also gives you extra room for storage. I love it. You gave a great presentation of your van. Keep enjoying your life and your van.
You can also add solar panels on the side, not attached. You can either get the portable ones, like the Jackery, or just use a couple regular solar panels, hinge them face together, and just pull the wires out and connect them up. You can lean them against a chair or table.
Wonderful build there are always little ways of getting a good shower I've learn that. I'm into to the soda bottle shower lol I just didn't put holes in the bottle cap and I used about 16 oz 7 bottles of warm water. Very refreshing
the blue skies and just unique sound of the wind in the middle of the desert is also interesting.😍😍 I was an expat in the middle east for around 5 years, almost all year sunshine is good to experience.
I love the half bathroom! I'm buying a van that is already converted, and didn't like how much space the shower took up. I'm definitely going to use her idea.
That was very well explained, thank you. I would do a few things different, mainly I would have a small fridge with separate freezer compartment that was a little taller, I would put it where you have your water, and put the water and stuff on the other side. I would also probably figure out a way to make table pull down or pop up in a way that was easier since I would use that a lot myself, and maybe I'd sacrifice the one bench for a table or something. Have to think that one through.
We are also part time travellers, in our late sixties, also with ebikes. Even though the things we have in the van are totally independent of our home, I find packing our food and clothing extremely tedious. Never mind the unpacking. Having said that, we absolutely love it, and love coming back to our home base. Good luck on your travels. Love from Australia.
Wow I admire your lifestyle it's really thought out and you have it all together I'm completely looking forward to doing this in the future, however making a living after your build is my biggest concern. Thank you for all your insights into working on the road as well as living is so helpful. Good luck on your journey!!
I’m hotel living right now working on the road. I’m looking at building out a small cargo trailer. Great ideas! Thank you. I can certainly relate to the toast comment made me laugh. Tried living without one. Just got a new one from Amazon today. Ha!
I'm normally not a fan of Murphy beds but this was a great build. And that's what I want to do, just be part time. I also think I'd have to based on certain things in my life.
You did a great van build. I got so many ideas from you. Thank you. I loved seeing your Murphy bed in action, because we are also doing a Murphy bed. I was nervous but now I’m excited. We plan to use the van part time for vacations and who knows what. I also live in your area. I hate cold winter. So hoping to visit Florida or go out west during that time. Thank you again for some wonderful ideas.
Very smart! I can relate totally to the adventure traveler. I admit I don’t have 2 of everything and sometimes realize, oops that’s in the van…it’s ok, it gives me a minute to reconnect with my little home when I retrieve the item, then to remember to replace it! Would love to know, do you have heat/cooling? Also what brand name toaster oven?
Love the candor. Being real with it translates beautifully. I have noticed that I hear a lot about feelings of mental unwellness in this community... this seems opposite of how I would assume that it is. Because of your honesty I feel ok to ask... is this a real thing in the nomad lifestyle? Is it a prevalent as it’s starting to seem? By the way: your van is AWESOME
This is a "perfect" van build. It's just so inviting and functional. I'm just wondering where she puts the electric bike? Does she have a bike rack on one of the back doors?
I haven't seen any tiny set ups with a twin bed. Does I've been in a twin bed for about 2 years and I like it fine (my dog is a chihuahua). Does anyone out there have a configuration with a twin bed? I like the murphy bed idea.
This mattress was just a memory foam topper from Amazon, After having it for 4 years I just replaced it with a mattress from RV Mattress by Brooklyn Bedding.
Love her video it actually what I needed. I have an associate degree in Graphic design and I want to become a freelancer but I don't know how to begin. I just became a nomad. Does anyone have any idea how I could get started.
Excellent layout. This woman is not one of these fake van lifers. She lives it and has a ton of experience. Her van is very well laid out. The Murphy bed is the way to go.
Murphy beds are the way to go! Makes the space so much more functional.
This was Awesome. I am 65 & trying to figure out what retirement looks like for me. After watching this. If I had this exact set-up I think I could live so happily traveling around the Countryside! Wow! Thanks!

Thank you for sharing!
I love the bed its confortable and doesn’t feel cramped. And hope to have one someday. But the shower for me is a must have.
when you have a plan life can be so much better! thank you for sharing - such an awesome van! Take care and be safe out there....

I'm loving her organization ❤️👍.
I really like her Murphy bed❤️👍
This is one of the very best vans I've ever seen. Wowser!!! Congrats on such a plush life on the road and stay safe.
What a lovely character she has! To spend a day with someone bright she would be my pick.
Best van build I’ve seen. Would ‘leap’ today if I could afford a dependable high top van and it’s conversion. As a licensed therapist I could work remote so easily but like so many, the upfront $ will forever prevent - but this would be my idea of perfect
You can look at the second hand market as people sell theirs. Some places also do financing. Find a way to go after you dreams!
Loved her build🌻and appreciated her talking about her favorite items in there. Wondering what cell booster she’s using/recommends
I currently use a WeBoost and have cell plans with AT&T and Verizon. I may switch to Starlink but haven't decided if it's worth the expense yet.
What an ingenious build. I love it!
Love the Murphy bed, extra wired "just in case", the portion of the Murphy platform that provides extra seating and Penny 😸. Thanks, best of everything for you going forward!
This is one of the most spacious well thought out builds I have seen!!
One of the best builds, great use of space though I would have a wet bath probably, or one that is stored inside a cupboard with hooks in the ceiling to hang the curtain. Love it
I hear you but I’d do the bathroom exactly as because I too would access offsite showering and want the space line here
Thanks for the bike tip. I’ve been going back and forth trying to decide. As you have stated my knees are garbage. A knee replacement accomplished nothing more than the joint issue. That is exactly what I have
I like the Murphy bed idea, great build
Wow. That is a amazing build. You thought of everything. Nothing wasted any place.
Neat, clean, organized, cozy, beautiful!!!!!
A nice house on wheels 🚌
You have one of the best builds on TH-cam. Very impressive, well thought out design. You are a pro!!
I agree with your method. Bed goes away, work and entertaining space appears. It’s about having some bit of structure along with the flexibility.
I love your van. I think we may be similar in our needs. Just the murphy bed alone allows you so much more room. Then you have the compost toilet w/o a shower. Soooo stunning - love all of the wood, the fresh open space and pops of purple
Way cool, im so amazed how much is in there! Such a beautiful home
Love her life and her van!
Everything was very nice but a shower and toilet is a must for us. I would also want an RV size fridge.
Fenegaling, I love it. Oh and wow what a wonderful van layout. You go girl. ☺️👋
Lovely van build! Thanks for sharing Penny!

Well thought out space...love the murphy bed!
I love the half bathroom! I'm buying a van that is already converted, and didn't like how much space the shower took up. I'm definitely going to use her idea.
This is truly an awesome home! I like the way storage is handled-and that it doesn't overtake the van! Thank you for sharing!🚙

By far, once of the best van tours. Thanks
Great van. Have you thought about the fold up solar panels for that extra power?
Incredible home! Thank you for sharing. Penny is a Queen 👑😎

You have a beautiful camper ❤❤❤
Great design! The Murphy bed is a nice touch! Thinking about doing this!!
Wonderful van settings! Bravo!
So excited to have my own rambler soon!! Loved watching all the details about yours!!!
I’m hotel living right now working on the road. I’m looking at building out a small cargo trailer. Great ideas! Thank you.
I can certainly relate to the toast comment made me laugh. Tried living without one. Just got a new one from Amazon today. Ha!

So love the Murphy Bed. You get the best of both, seating area and very easy bed. So nicely decorated and such great use of space. Sweet little pup!
Great build. Penny is awesome.
You did a great van build. I got so many ideas from you. Thank you.
I loved seeing your Murphy bed in action, because we are also doing a Murphy bed. I was nervous but now I’m excited.

Nice kitchen, cool bed!👍🏻 Love all the wood & the faerie lights! Penny makes it a Home! 👍🏻❤️🐕❤️ Be 🐝 safe out there!🍀🐾🌈☮️🇨🇦
Nice van. Happy travels.
Absolutely love your van. Well thought out
Great video - love the layout and appearance.
V beautiful n spacious camphor home with all features. Awesome design
Very smart! I can relate totally to the adventure traveler. Would love to know, do you have heat/cooling? Also what brand name toaster oven?
I use the fans for cooling and move with the weather. I have a webasto heater for the cold. The toaster oven is a Breville.
The bathroom was a nice surprise
I’d so love one like this!!!!
Wine for visitors❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Best layout I’ve ever seen 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Great build young lady!
Awesome build, I would live in it.
She has a nice setup. I couldn't do the toilet and not have a shower. I'm not into that kind of living but like reading about it.
Wonderful tour of your home van. You are so knowledgeable. You inspire Women to just Go For It !
A ten person dinner party in a van? Brave soul. As are your guests. Lol. Nice rig though, Like the Murphy.
Spectacular Van

Love this design.
Beautiful lady.
Excellent all around. Nicely presented. I enjoyed the visit.❤
🍀🤙🏼🙏🏻
Very cute!!!
hey from east Tenn. / nice build out
What is the name of the company that did this van build out?
It's a great design.
great camper van
I could see myself living in that.
This is a "perfect" van build. It's just so inviting and functional. I'm just wondering where she puts the electric bike? Does she have a bike rack on one of the back doors?
Excellent!
Solar blankets are the way to go.
Can you advise on approx. how much your van would cost? Thank you for the wonderful tour.
What about switching out some or all solar panels to higher watt ones? For example, if you have 3x100w, swap 1 or 2 out for a 200w?
Great setup!
I love your home.
Wouldn't we all like a home base plus a van
Seriously, though. Unrelatable.
CheapRVLiving is my channel LOL.
Very impressive 👏
Nice van,
Smart build!
I haven't seen any tiny set ups with a twin bed. Does I've been in a twin bed for about 2 years and I like it fine (my dog is a chihuahua). Does anyone out there have a configuration with a twin bed?
I like the murphy bed idea.
Great design 👍
Love your build and Murphy bed! Such a versatile setup! Who did the build?
It's so excellent 👏
it'd be great if u could give video chapter time points in such a long video...just a suggestion... anyway love all ur videos.. 👍
Beautiful
I want to see how all that stuff fits behind driver seat!
EXCELLENT!
I love the Murphy bed! I might have missed it but where’s the mattress from? It seems pretty light and I’d love to know how to get one.
This mattress was just a memory foam topper from Amazon, After having it for 4 years I just replaced it with a mattress from RV Mattress by Brooklyn Bedding.
Murphy beds are the best for tiny home.
Love her video it actually what I needed. I have an associate degree in Graphic design and I want to become a freelancer but I don't know how to begin. I just became a nomad. Does anyone have any idea how I could get started.
I like the layout but what company did your build? thks rox
There is do much space!
Opps. So much room!
What a wonderful view on the motor home. What company did the work?
