Had the Garfield on a scooter, and all of the fraggle rock happy meal toys but must have given or sold them away. Wish I still had them. Had one of the large ALF dolls but not sure what came of him, love ALF. Very awesome haul for sure! Brought back memories!! 💕💕😃😎

Hi Stacy! We're pretty lucky around here. We have wonderful estate sales, and they haven't slowed down at all (just have to wear masks like everywhere else.) The winter weather did cause some cancellations and postponed sales, but they should really pick up as it gets warmer. I've been going every Friday with a friend and former co-worker who recently retired. We're having an absolute blast! In Wichita, most sales run Thursday - Saturday, and everything gets marked down 25% on Fridays (50% off on Saturdays for remaining items.) Sorry to hear you missed out on ALF, it was a funny show. Fragglerock is a Jim Henson creation, and I think it aired on Disney Channel (I know it was on a cable channel because I could only watch it at my grandparents house. They had all the good channels we didn't, lol!) Hope you've had a nice weekend!
I received an A.L.F. (his name is actually Gordan Shumway and A.L.F. is Alien Life Form) stuffed animal for Christmas. My younger brother had an A.L.F. knapsack (mine was Garfield).

Yes!! I was a huge Michael Jackson fan back in the 80’s. I have the Thriller LP album, but not the 7” so that was exciting! Keith doesn’t go to estate sales with me on Fridays. Poor guy has to work at his desk job. 😉

There is a new gadget that almost certainly (though there is no way to be sure) came from the Garfield's Thanksgiving special. I would tell you what it is, but if you haven't seen the special yet it would ruin part of the television special lol.
@@Our80sLife I watched a REACT video where they tried out a bunch of "Dad" gadgets (they were excellent). One was some type of meat cutter (which everyone liked) that looked like a chainsaw. They cut some chicken and a turkey. In Garfield's Thanksgiving, Jon screws up and does not thraw the frozen turkey before inviting Liz (the veterinarian) for Thanksgiving. He panics and calls Grandma, who comes over saves the day. The turkey was so impossible to cut (because it was frozen) that she had to take a chainsaw to it. Coincidence? The television special was nominated for an Emmy so it was critically acclaimed. It was the SAME IDEA cutting THE SAME THING!
