Dax Harwood is truly a proud family man for his wife and daughter including his best friend and tag team partner Cash Wheeler. I love *now* , in the wrestling business, especially these AEW guys, opening up about their issues and having the guts to show vulnerability and imperfections. This is the first interview of Dax i've ever watched. He is very different than what I had always assumed. Seems like a really great guy with a good head on his shoulders. Love to see it.
Thank you to Dax Harwood for being so raw and open during this incredible episode. To say it was relatable would be the understatement of a decade. I suffer from debilitating panic attacks myself that developed a few years ago. Im rebuilding my life brick by brick and I had a huge milestone when AEW came to Bridgeport CT last wednesday. It was my show I was able to attend since becoming ill and it was my daughters first show ever. It wasn't easy, but it was so rewarding.
I have body dysmorphia just like Dax. I've had a lot of the thoughts he speaks about here. It means a lot to me for him to open up and speak about this issue people go through
Wow......the anxiety and sleep thing, panic.....that hot home. I've been dealing with all of that for many years. And I'm also a bigger guy who struggles with losing weight and eating right. I can't relate to the eating disorder, but the embarrassment of being overweight....I can relate to that as well. This was a great interview.

One of my top favorite interviews I've ever seen. Was already a huge fan of FTR and I love how Dax is so intense he makes me question whether or not he linked up with their opponent backstage and agreed to just straight up fight each other.....lol.....

Both interviews with FTR was well needed!! To be honest I've never liked FTR, they didn't connect with me but after watching both podcasts, I can confidently say they've got a new fan. First of all, they had me at being a Bret fan 🍁 and secondly, they are genuinely great people outside the ring #familymen.
A fantastic interview. So forthcoming. I love how engaged Renee is. You can tell she wants to re-connect with colleagues/friends and help to tell their story behind the characters they play. I hope him and Cash get a chance to slay the dinosaur who had the title belt sooner rather than later.
You like a wrestler and then you see their petsonal side and I can't imagine being more impressed with this man.

Great interview! I grew up watching Mid-South Wrestling and NWA/WCW. I quit watching wrestling a little over ten years ago because it had just become so incredibly stupid. I’ve started watching AEW and by a million miles my favorite wrestlers are Dax and Cash. I even check Dark and Elevation every week just to see if they are wrestling. Having grown up a Midnight Express and Arn/Tully fan I can honestly say FTR is on par with those great tag teams. THEY SHOULD BE ON TV EVERY WEEK AND THEY SHOULD BE TAG CHAMPS.
This was very moving to me.

Dude this was one of the best convos that Renee has had, and she's had some AMAZING conversations. Dax sounds like a cool, down to earth guy! He does a great job playing a heel! He's really 180° different in real life than in his in-ring personality, that dedication to the craft is super legit!

Amazing story amazing guy amazing interview
Had no idea he had body issues. Met him and Cash at an event recently. I saw myself in the photo with them, I had lost weight recently, but I felt small next to them, and decided I wanted a body like his. I've been working out 3-4 times a week the past two months. They're coming around my neck of the woods again in April, hopefully I'll have put on more muscle and can thank them for the motivation.

Dax is awesome. My only issue with this is the Warning Graphic at the beginning of the interview. Why? These issues are real and lots of people struggle with them. But a Warning Graphic like that gives me the feeling it is only a selected few and the rest of the world is "normal" and can't handle (or don't want to hear) about these kind of things.
Stop it and just throw it out there unapologetically.
