I’ve been a wrestling fan for almost 50 years, and Jay is one of the most convincing heels I’ve ever witnessed. As well as being an amazing wrestler, he’s got that rock-star energy. He’s gonna go down as one of the greats.

We try to be more inclusive of everyone, and a bit more forward thinking.
It wasn't always so, but I feel like we've embraced our native culture a lot more than some other places.
But yeah we care for people, and generally nothing worries us too much. Take things as they come.

49:15 Definitely go back and watch the press conference Jay mentions here. Everything was spot on and I really hope Jay brings this up in AEW at some point soon. That rematch with Hangman definitely needs to happen before he drops the title.

Jay and Will are the future of NJPW Gajin-peformers, especially Jay White! This man is a generational talent who will transcend the Pro Wrestling Industry, mark my words! 49:50 he reveals why Tama Tonga got kicked out of Bullet Club. Tama wasn’t going outside of Japan to grow Bullet Club. Whereas Jay White was willing to go outside of Japan with Bullet Club attached to him which makes it grow. Pretty smart and it makes Tama’s career less pressuring. Makes me wonder why Tama wasn’t willing to go outside Japan.

he sounds like the type of guy who would give the WWE a shot, as thats what he grew up on. he doesn't come across as a mark for the business or someone who grew up watching tapes and following the japanese scene.
i hope he stays with NJPW, but wouldn't be surprised if he one day decided to give the WWE a go. hopefully he isn't in their cross hairs, as they seem to be fully invested with getting guys and girls and bringing them through NXT.
I'd be saddened if it happened. AEW would be great, he could instantly be the top guy there.

He has won the IWGP Heavyweight title, so that's still a huge deal since that's basically the most prestigious title in the world ever since the WWE ones went to shit.
