Just got mine yesterday. Worked very nice on my 24v LifeP04. Great video.

Great on-the-go controller. I'm not sure why you would want to mount it, since it's so lightweight. Thank you for the video

If you are connecting tha Bateria to the usual MC4 connectors that are found on most rigid panels I believe you need to use a reverse polarity adapter to connect to the SAE connectors.

That is correct. You would need to reverse the MC4 connections to the SAE. Thanks for the info and the comment!

I have a question about another video with the grid tie inverters. Can you tell me how many watts you would get if you hook it up to 1 single 24v battery. If I could get a constant 240w that would be perfect. It would obviously need the 22-50v grid tie inverter. I hook up (1) 12v with a 12-24v step up converter and get 24W, (2), 12v in series and it puts out 500w, (1) 12v with 12-36v gives 360w. I was hoping each battery adds 10A and (1) 24v would give me 240W. I would like to take a converter out of the equation and just use: Panels - Charge controller - Battery - grid tie inverter. Thank you for any help, and thank you for you videos. You have answered many questions I've had about products.

It really depends on what the max output of the grid tie inverter is. The one I have is 600w. That would be 25A @ 24v. The 24v battery would be able to deliver that no problem. Most 24v batteries can sustain 100A discharge. Hope this answers your question. Thanks for the comment.

I'm looking to get 200-240w constantly. I guess I'll come up with something. Thank you so much for the reply.

I have a 12 v flooded lead acid battery on my camper. Which battery mode should I use?

I believe you would want to go with the AGM Battery setting. Thanks for the question and the comment.

    Great video! Quick questions though..
    1. Is it possible/safe to run this charge controller to my suvs agm battery to charge with my rooftop solar panel (because of the battery being connected to an alternator aswell)?
    2. Do you think it would hold well in the engine bay of a small 4 cyl engine.. heat wise?
    Thanks!

I think it can operate in conditions up to 140⁰F. Connecting it with the alternator should be an issue. Thanks for the comment.

Does the controller store the historical data? Or does it only record to the phone when bluetooth is connected? Thanks.

I only stores the data while it's connected to the phone. I hope that helps.

@OffGridBasement That does help, but that makes it a deal breaker. I'll just keep using my inline watt meter.

you can put the controller in the shade of panels. battery full or half full for test?

    • @OffGridBasement

Shade of the panel would be a perfect spot. Battery is about 70%. Thanks for the comment!
