I didn't really care about the technique behind a painting before Bob Ross. I didn't really care either about the technique behind DIYs before TheCrafsMan.
Hey Crafsman. My daughter introduced your channel to her 5th grade class. You have a lot of new young fans. They watch your new videos in the classroom now.
I don’t talk about this a lot, but I prefer TH-camrs who know the difference between Double Dragon and Dungeons & Dragons. Now Crafsman is on that list!
My favorite parts: your reaction to the mail you got from the 2 young men.....gifts from kids sure do melt my heart! And secondly, the way you apologized to the Lego man lol...that tickled me for sure❤
The dreaded Major Mite, blood sucker of all fowl kind, or the Pirate Weasel, kidnapper of chicks everywhere! Not just the babies, hens, know what I'm sayin? ;^P A swashbuckling weasel that steals your girl.
hey craftsman, I've been watching you since your 80's toys collection, I'm going through a death in the family, someone really special to me, and I've not wanted to do anything for the past week, but seeing this video has really cheered me up, I know it might sound silly but thank you for being you man, and keep on crafting :)
I tried joining the goggles club even though I just wear glasses. They looked at me and said, "You think this is a game?" They serious about them goggles up in there, boy.
Man, this takes me back. My best friend's avatar when we played with Lego was one of those Blacktron guys, though I think he swapped the air tanks for a cape. My guy was a Classic Space dude, in white, with one of the black visors. Anyway, be careful with paint thinner and plastics. I tried painting some guys back in the day, and the thinner weakened the plastic. I put the legs back in the torso and it split from the pressure. So I gave up on having my own Dash Rendar minifig. I wasn't doing so well trying to build a YT-2400 freighter to be my Outrider. Licensed Star Wars sets were still years off at that point. But who needed them when you had Ice Planet 2002, with their fluorescent orange glacier goggles and skis and chainsaws... One day I'll get my Monorail Transport Base.
3:58 I have both of those mini figs, I still have "most" of my very first Space Lego set that I got for Christmas back in the 1970's! Another great video Crafsman, have a lovely weekend my friend.
Within the first 2 mins of watching your vids, I already have a huge, poop-eatin' grin on my face....I absolutely LOVE when there's a new video...makes this rainy day so much better!! Thanks crafsman!!
I don't care about most crafts, or at least not much, but I love these videos. In bed with the lights off now and about to fall asleep listening to The Crafsman 😌
When that kid wrote "I wouldn't recommend using it." and "I made your gift as boyish as I could.", I really didn't know what to expect. So when you showed us the gift, I burst out laughing. Thank you for that. I needed that. :D
I think I have been afflicted with disappearin' posts. :P Lemme try again. Mail Time was especially delightful. I couldn't help the big smile on my face whilst watching all the cute cards and letters from the kiddos and the great other stuff from folks. Your videos always lift my spirits. Hope you and Crafsmama are well and happy.
Crafsman i wanna thank you for encouraging experimentation. that is so important i maker culture and we all forget about it too often, so thank you. your channel is quickly becoming my special little treasure
There are so many great reasons to watch the Craftsman as all of your fans already know, but all your little sayings. love them the most! "Right side Clyde" not sure how many will get that but LOL. Love your videos always.
I made 6 custom Lego minifig a couple of years ago. They were the smallest version of Creeper from Minecraft and I did the faces with airbrush. Printed the face on label, cut out the parts with a scalpel, stuck it to the lego piece as a mask and painted over. It worked really good, except one of the faces was off, I kept that one for myself, I gave away the rest to friends.
Nice video! I wished I came upon this video 8 years ago when I was really into Legos! Your result came out really great. Legos, as for most people, really had a big impact on me and is the reason I love making new things. Keep inspiring us CrafsMan!
“Super Duper clean results way better than this can be had, with the right amount of takin-yo-time. “ This has just become my motivational quote! I just wrote it on a post it on work and put it on my computer!
Thank you! I have a hard time sleeping. Your video, as usual was great. Your voice is so soothing. I'll be able to sleep, as you've helped this lady relax.
Dude, Blacktron was my favorite line! ... until M-Tron came out, with those magnets! Thanks for including all those screenshots, and especially for not just using Photoshop for the demonstration. And thanks for including the parts where you're experinmenting in the video instead of just focusing on one method. It really builds in that encouraging sense of trying new things!
Hello from next door in Alabama, Crafsman! I just wanted to to thank you for all your videos; they're so calming and informative and nothing beats hearing them in such a familiar accent haha.
I have fond memories of me painting my own LEGO super heroes, taping bits of paper to them to look like Spider-Man.... getting loads of paint on the kitchen table... good times Sadly I was too young and not very capable when it came to painting precisely
I'm broke as a joke and have no room for it, but your videos make me wanna get crafting again! Did it a lot in Girl Scouts and an after school program, and seeing all the cool stuff you make and that your fans make and send you makes me want to go on steady craftin 💓
If I understand well this is the waxed side of a used adhesive paper, you use it as a support for the toner and use acrylic meduim to transfer and make it stick to plastic surface. If it is so that's a pretty simple and clever idea, I'm gona try it right away. Thanks CrafsMan.
That label paper looks really uh peeling to be, bud.🤣 In depth explanations and retro toys in one! With recent health, financial and internet impairments it's been awhile since I got an early-ish comment in! Cool free stuff including home made cards, and I heard those free range howeveryouspellemtus will blow you right outta the space water! Great to see you again, CrafsMAN! Hope it's honey and biscuits for you and yours until next time!
3:50 Blacktron! My parents got me kit #6894 (never remembered the number until I looked it up today) and it had shapes and colors I'd never seen in LEGO before. Plus, it had the triforce-looking logo on it, which captured my imagination, thinking about space and adventure and all that. Man, my teenage self could not get enough of that kit. I broke a whole lot of it fighting space monsters and saving space princesses. Eventually, it got donated to a local thrift store, and I like to think that little hero is out there performing feats of derring-do to this day. There's just something about having a bunch of straps over your torso that makes you feel important, like you're a paratrooper or a formula 1 racer or whatever. If you've got a harness on, you're cool.
Your Host the Crafsman bringing us a new segment with intros and outros. Love seein' Mail Time and the animation that goes with it! These decals look super fun. I guess you could also remove and print new FACES for the minifigs as well. Thanks again for the WEEKEND WONDERMENT, WE WILLINGLY WELCOME WATCHING WONDROUS WITTY WIDEOS... I mean videos. Stay fresh Crafsman and as a side note, where can I get some Takin-Yo-Time? >_
CrafsMan, you are like some super groovy clone of Kermit the frog, Bob Ross and Barry White. And yes, I AM from the seventies. I'm loving this channel!
There's an old promo that the professional wrestler Macho Man Randy Savage shot where he talks with Mean Gene Oakerlund about how he's the cream of the crop. The Crafsman is the cream of the crop too.
I wasn't sure if you wanted the matte surface from using the acetone. If you use non-acetone nail polish remover, it will remove the paint without reacting with the plastic.
To remove printing that was already on the figure you can use nail polish remover or you can buff it out with a pencil eraser and I’m not sure but probably could use the paper from the back of wallpaper

The mail time stop motion looks awesome
CrafsMan u need to come up with a villain for your free range chicken. It needs to be a space alien from Planet X. Thanks for all the videos!
