Those are at least 7 weeks. 3 to 4, eyes still closed. They're adorable!!!
Edit: that bushy tail, at least 8 weeks. I had some grow up on my porch. They're very cute, though. Lucky to have had you!

Hydrate the squirrel with Pedialyte every fifteen minutes for the first hour. Transition slowly to Ensure (human supplement found in food stores and pharmacies) which is very easy for the baby to digest, and then gradually introduce Esbilac Puppy milk replacer

Fyi, future reference. Mixing the formula I use my little tea basket to sift the formula through to you know mash the klumps out it works great. I do it over a measuring cup, so that way when I pour it into the bottle of not making a mess..😉🐾😘🐾🐾😉🐾😉🐾😉🐾
It's a privilege to have a squirrel even for few months. My squirrel is 4 weeks old and eats any nuts plus kiwi cucumber
Pear apple raisin and lettice and when he will be 5 months old, I will release in a large park with many other squirrel .
Don’t give squirrels raisins, they’re not really that good for them
4 weeks is way to young to give them nuts and fruits.
My husband and I rescued one out of our backyard Friday night that our Pomeranian found under our deck steps, it got a little injury on it, but not to the extreme of severe or worse, I’ve got her in a little pen that we bought for her and I’m bottlefeeding her and giving her pieces of Little twigs, tried her own little bites of tomato tonight. She wasn’t the most thrilled with tomatoes, but she did nibble on them, she loves pecans and apples, I give her Pedialyte, the non-flavored with no dyes or no sugars nothing like that added she drinks that, I got her the esibilic (?) replacement milk for puppies, she drinks that real well, I heat up for about 4 to 5 seconds just to get the coldness off of it, we’re going tomorrow after my husband gets off work and get her a bigger cage ❤️🐿️❤️
And I have named her munchy because she likes to chew on my fingernails and she’s done broke one of my fingernails lol
So sweet. I rescued one years ago. I love all critters too lol.

I've been watching Wright Ranch Rescue and AF Squirrelly, licensed rehabbers down in Florida. They got hit hard after Ian with all the winds and downed trees.

I found a 6 week old 2 years ago. Puppy still comes here as well as many others. I recently found a 3 week old. Those syringes sometimes stick and when I push, I pray it won't go in his lungs!!
Shaken, not stirred. The clumps will desolve if you shake it real good and let sit a few minutes.
You’re supposed to let it sit for 8hrs before feeding.
Also you you need to stimulate it to use the bathroom or do they go on their own.
My girl gets it in her nose here n there but not a lot n she’s fine
I also give her petilite for dehydration
She gets a bath or wiped off warm water every morning

Thank you so much for this video! I just rescued an abandoned baby (around 5 weeks old) this morning that had fallen out of a tree and the mother either abandoned it, or something happened to her. I was totally lost as to what to do, so thank you so much for doing this video! I feel a little uneasy about the change in the Esbilac formula (new and "improved) but hopefully, he will survive. Where did you find the cage?
I saved a squirrel the other day too. He looks about the same size as yours. He hasn’t peed or pooped for two days. Is there any way to stimulate them to do so?

I've read ,no u should not. A lady at tractor supply told me yes, I paid 22.00 for it and then got home and read u should not give them that even in an emergency.
How many weeks before they start eating nuts, and seeds etc?
At 6 months, I gave Honey Nut Cheerios. Puppy got her first walnut when I put her outside in a tree, about 7 weeks!
Do you mix the puppy formula like it says on the container or do you mix it differently

I have a baby, he was the attack by the cats, no blood. He was cold I put him in a box. He's not moving around. Should I try to save him or put him outside

No do not use puppy, kitty formula. I cup whole milk 4 tbsp heavy cream. 3 or 4 drops vitamin E. Put in pan and scald til lil bubbles form around the edge but NOT boiling. Much cheaper an works great. I’ve been feeding babies for 15 yrs. Learn from a rehabber here in Houston who raised hundreds over the years. Also you did not stimulate to pee/poo. But thanks for loving them…..
Vets and squirrel rescues recommend puppy replacement formula. I used Ensure because it was what I had and it was suggested until her formula arrived and it is for baby rodents and puppies. 😊
How old are they??
The caption says 4-5 weeks, but they might be 6 weeks in this video. They look older than my 5 week old squirrel.
@@Taricussame mine just opened his eyes a couple days ago. The ones in the video are definitely older than 5 weeks.
Can you raise squirrels for meat just like rabbits?

They don't have enough meat to make it worthwhile. Rabbits breed fast and get dense enough to make a lot of meat.
