One thing that bothers me about Frozen is that after the king and queen died, someone would have had to manage the kingdom until Elsa came of age. This person would have also have been the logical choice to continue ruling the kingdom during Elsa' s winter, rather than some inexperienced foreign prince.
Alex Hardbarger , Crud, I never realized that!! ...Wait, is it possible that Elsa ruled but wasn't officially queen coz she did it from behind closed doors?
what really fucked me over is that in the movie they said that elsa was born with her ice powers my question is how was she born with magical powers when it was NEVER said that the king or queen were wizards or something wouldn't it be logical to say she was cursed
Maybe 1 of Elsa's grandparents or great-grandparents had ice Magic an' that's how the king knew about the trolls? There was a picture in a book he held that showed what looked to me like a royal with either ice or wind powers. Plus the movie made it pretty clear via Grand Papi's question to the king "Born or cursed?" that both options are viable. But yeah, I can see why ya would be frustrated since it's still really vague...
It's implied, at least that her father has some, as he is the one coaching her on how to contain the powers as much as she can. He is also the one to say: I know where to go, or something like that, the first time Anna is in serious danger, again implying that he is the one with experience with such powers.
Another plot hole with Cinderella is that the Prince traveled around the kingdom to see which girls foot fitted the shoe, like he had forgotten what Cinderella looked like.
Well anyone who even looked anything like Cinderella could have claimed to be her he wanted to find someone who looked like her and could also fit the shoe i think
I think he didn't think she would show if he made a little thingy for her ( she probs wouldn't ) because she tots ditched him soo bad, PROBS just when he was like about to smooch her! LOL
It’s not mentioned in the movie but a part of the spell was that no one would recognize her. As you can tell when her stepfamily can’t tell who she is.
I always thought Scar didn't kill Simba because even if he tried to wash the blood off of himself, the lionesses would still be able to smell it and it would have been more obvious that Scar had killed Simba by a mess that would have been left in the gorge even if he took the body off somewhere.
Jackie Gardner , That makes more sense than my Scar-had-enough-of-a-soft-spot-for-lil-Simba-that-wanted-someone-else-to-dirty-their-paws theory!! *clicks Like*
This is a bit late but I expected the reason to be because Mufasa likes playing with his food. When we see him for the first time playing and talking to the mice that was gonna be his meal, taking too long and losing the mouse by the end. Seems like a pretty cool foreshadow to Mufasa's demise
Hercules doesn't save everyone because it's the right thing to do, he was doing it for selfish reasons which were to become a god. When he was saving Meg, it was the only true selfless act in the movie.
Michelle DiPalo Plus, he was actually going to die to save her, giving his life for her. With the others, his thread of life was not going to be cut in the process.
In lion king scar didn't want Simba' s blood on him plus I think sending 3 hyenas after him is more than sufficient to kill a cub, and like the hyenas said cubs that age can't really survive on their own. The real plot hole is his survival.
Frankie White The BIGGER plot hole to ME is: How did Scar meet ZIRA?? ANOTHER plot hole is, where was ZIRA in the FIRST movie along with her rogue pride.
Exactly. He tries to get the Hyenas to kill him after he tells Simba to leave because he wants him dead but it can't look like he did it. The Hyenas fail to kill him but don't tell Scar.
The Hercules One: The hydra and stuff didn't count because he was doing it for his own benefit; to be recognized as a hero. He didn't do it because it was "right". This is modelled after ancient Greece's concept of culpability. It is a lot to do with intention as much as action.
In the 2017 Beauty & The Beast they show that the castle's appearance is connected to the falling rose petals. The castle falls apart more & more every time a petal falls.
Actually, there is a book (published in the 80s I believe) called Beauty that tells the story in some similar ways (servants helping her but they aren't human) but explains the curse in a much better way. The castle was in the center of a forest people think is haunted and the curse has been on the Beast for so long, he can't even remember his name, thus the villagers no longer remember the castle or the people there. Also, because of the enchantment, time works differently there. A much better story than the version Disney did.
In Frozen the townspeople had been told that Anna had died, I'm sure they realised that Hans was lying and tried to kill her when she turned up. This would have been treason so they were probably perfectly happy that she punched him in the face,
The lion king: I think scar wanted to give simba a running chance, villains do that a lot in movies. The little mermaid: I’m pretty sure there are some seafood they eat, since seaweed contains no protein whatsoever
Buzz freezes like other toys when Andy's around because he things it is a thing that the toys do. In the beginning he sees the toys as creatures native to the planet, he sees the new toys staying still when Andy comes, so he does it too thinking that the so called natives do it as respect to they're tribe leader Andy.
Sebastian was meant to have a British accent but they changed it to Jamaican as they believed that a Brit and a French man at war with each other would represent the feud between Britain and France too much
Li Morgan The chef was French, so that scene could have represented the French Revolution if Sebastian had been French. And isn't the chef the biggest threat to Sebastian?
In The Little Mermaid, if Eric was suppose to guess her name, why didn't he just have her write down her name? She is able to write when she signed her name on the contract? Did he believe that women didn't know how to read or write? If she could just write her name to let him know her name. Also she could have just written down, "Can you kiss me?" She could have been bold and asked but I guess that is not becoming of a woman. She could have also told him, she was the singing voice he heard when he was saved.
this is what me and my cast said too (just wrapped up this show on saturday) but i mean if Ursula can block that kiss surely she can prevent Ariel from writing
It could be because we watch the movie in English (or any other language the movie is translated into) we assume all of the characters are using the same language. However there are some hints in the movie that disproves this assumption like how Prince Eric nor any other human character in the movie besides Ariel do not speak to the citizens of Atlantica.
The toy story plot hole actually has a pretty simple explanation. Buzz is a space rancher, so wouldn't he mimic the native species if giant creatures appear? He sees Woody freeze, so wouldn't he?
It's even easier to buy that freezing around humans is an innate response for a Toy. Much like you can't help but laugh when you find something funny, a Toy can't help but freeze when a human enters. Once you realize what causes you to laugh and practice and make a strong enough effort, you can stop yourself from laughing, and even fight back the smile. But if you don't know or care that you're doing it, then you have no reason to stop yourself. It goes the same for the Toy Freeze. Sure, it's also some rule for all Toys to freeze, passed down from some unmentioned, all-powerful toy overlord, but that's probably because they started to realize that if Toys continued to suppress their freeze-reflex, then they'd lose all the perks they had become accustomed to as Toys, and it would ruin things for everyone.
High heels falling off isn't exactly an uncommon thing. It happens a lot, in both fiction and real life. Plus, they weren't really designed for running, despite what the creators of Jurassic World seem to think. What I want to know is, why doesn't she have any toes?
To explain why buzz freezes like the other toys, perhaps it's because he wants to blend in and be liked by the locals. He does what they do so they'll like him and be his friends....or something.
prplaysmc but Buzz doesn't know he's a toy so he has no idea what humans are or their role in the world he's just copying what he sees the natives doing
The beauty in the beast plot hole got solved when they brought it to live action. They said that the curse caused everyone to forget. That’s why Mr. Potts didn’t even remember that he had a wife Mrs Potts and a son named Chip.
Why do you keep mentioning the glass slipper being a perfect fit? You do realize perfect fit does not mean it is impossible to fall off right? You can still lose a shoe no matter how well it fits.
SoulPhantom that is true especially with high heels. Also can't the shoe fit anyone else? If the shoe fit someone else the prince would be married to... well, SOMEONE ELSE and render the movie to make no sense whatsoever
SoulPhantom I was just thinking that. For me, size nine, ten, or eleven can fit me just fine--even if eleven is too big and ten is the best size--, that doesn't mean they'll always stay on my feet, especially during long periods of time/movement.
I've been saying that to like every Cinderella shoe fitting thing! Good thing I wasn't the only one who doesn't notice the possible causes lol. I'm tired of these nitpicky people who are only obsessed of science principles.
Screen Rant you guys do realize that the part with Simba and Scar is more of a nitpick than it is a plot hole yes scar could have eaten Simba but he chose to let the hyenas do it instead so it's more of a nitpick then a plot hole at least I think so.
PinkFluffyUnicorns Dabbin'OnRainbows of course I noticed I've seen the movie multiple times but again I was just telling Screen Rant that what they refer to as a pothole isn't really a pothole it's more of a nitpick than anything else.
In Cinderella the case of the glass slipper slipping off, is due the everyone has one foot that is slightly bigger than the other. Generally a 1/2 size difference.
Actually, how is Megara not a goddess before Hercules? She gives her soul for a guy once. Then pushes Hercules himself from under falling column - at least two selfless acts that had cost her her life. How. Is. She. Not. A. Heroine. Therefore, how is she not a goddess? Nowhere was said that this option works for demigods and demigoddesses only.
Thank you! That is the one big question i always asked myself. If Herc giving his live for Meg makes him a god, why did't she become a goddess when she saved Herc or the other guy.
Because the selfless act only RE-made Hercules into a god. He was never completely mortal which meant that he was capable of getting his god status back. Meg was never a goddess so she could not get her status as a goddess back, thus selfless acts were nothing more than that.
Because Hercules was a god to start with so his act of selfless heroism returned his god status. Megan was never a goddess so her selfless act was just that. Otherwise any time ANYONE did a selfless act of heroism Olympis would be crawling with former mortals turned gods.
Meg has always been mortal so honestly sacrificing herself would do nothing for her. And hades finished their contract the moment that Hercules gave up his strength so she no longer had his protection.
I think Buzz freezes because he believes the "toy" thing is a cover for him if that makes sense. Like he understands that he in not human (he probably believes he is better than humans) he just doesn't get that he is as unimportant as a toy.
Isn’t it weird that I’m Frozen Elsa has a modern and sparkly dress and that the rest of the people in the film have regular clothes from the middle ages
Let's have fun with the beasts castle. Suppose the forest is so dark and dense that nobody wants to enter it. I have seen some pretty dense forests in Europe. You can get lost quite easily. Which is why the very few people came by to his castle. And why nobody noticed it for years.
This castle is probably built like a libertine place for some specious royal amusements. Louis XV built Pompadour Castle for her beloved mistress; she never visited it at least one day!
I think Buzz Lightyear freezes by instinct. It's like a reflex. As for the question, "Do all the toys initially think they're not toys?" I have no answer.
I do not think Hans actually was a villain. I just think that Disney would have a plot twist, and made him a villain in the end. There are no evil people, only evil actions. It was not abnormal in the past to get married so quickly. Christian the 2 married someone he had never met.
We don't know how they do things in The Southern Isles (or if it exists).~ Maybe he thought that their system applies to Arendel? But Hans isn't very bright in general. His only assets are his looks/charm. If he tried to seduce anyone but Anna, these "skills" wouldn't work. But this plothole is no skin off my bones. I don't want a Hans sequel.
I explained this several times he wasn't planning on succession he was planning to usurp the throne he needed everyone to hate Elsa and love him but too many saw his and her true colors when she saved Anna and he tried to stop marrying Anna wasn't necessary and if a long lost relative tried to claim the throne later they wouldn't be able too without a fight
She lives in the sea. I doubt she's ever had to write before - or ever even learned. When she signs her name, all she signs is "Ariel." That, quite possibly, could be the only thing she actually DOES know how to spell.
Also doesn't she need to make him fall for herself in order to fully become human ? Explaining everything wouldn't necessarily help. It's not because she explains everything that he'll just fall for her. The only problem is that she never even writes down her name for him...
Hercules was only fighting all the other monsters just to become a hero his motives aren't entirely pure, when he saves Meg it's because he loves her and he believes it's the right thing to do. Which proves his motives to be pure.
Thorki Hiddlesworth That's actually from the brother's Grimm version of the story. Disney's Cinderella is based on Charles Perrault fairytale which simply just has her lose the slipper.
I am glad they finally explained that beauty and the beast plot hole in the live action version. Well at least the plot hole of how the village doesn't know about the castle and cant see it. Still didnt explain why the castle has fresh food even though no one but the ones in the castle know of its existence. Who the hell is delivering the food and how is it being paid for, taxes from the village maybe, but still NO ONE knows it exists bescause of the spell. Frikin confused lol.
We never see Ariel actually EAT any seafood - on the contrary, she saves Sebastian. As for Sebastian's Jamaican accent - well, then it should also bother you that Hercules doesn't speak Greek or that the whole cast in The Lion King doesn't have an African accent. What bothers me WAY more about Th Little Mermaid is why she could not just write the whole story down for Erik. She could write, after all, so it would have been easy enough to tell him her story without the ability to speak.
I'm pretty sure they were cursed too to forget loved ones who worked at the castle. They forgot their prince/castle and tended to their own business??? (Still plot holes for neighbouring villages that knew of the castle) tricky tricky
I kind of dissagree with you on the Hans thing. They caught him in a lie, and a pretty big one too. He told them that Anna died or froze in his arms (I don't remember exactly what he said), but they saw Anna *alive* and freeze, destroying Hans' sword. That means they knew that Hans had lied about Anna, and it was a pretty important lie, so that does make sense. As for the kingdom accepting Elsa, idk, maybe it's because they saw her fix what she did or something.
This is so much fun I will try another! The reason Cinderella shoe falls off is because she's been dancing. Her feet are sweaty. Causes lubrication against the glass slipper. Therefore falls off more easily. 😊
It stayed glass because it was a gift from her fairy godmother. At least that's what I always assumed. When everything falls apart and she sees the one glass slipper is still a glass slipper, she grasps it and looks up at the sky and says "Oh, thank you, fairy godmother," or something to that effect. I always assumed she was thanking her for both that night AND for letting her keep a souvenir.
The Lion King: Scar's intent was, in fact, to have Simba killed. He just didn't want to get his paws dirty, which is why in the film he tells the hyenas to chase down and kill Simba after scaring him off.
The Cinderella one: You've clearly never tried running in heels. Even a perfectly fitted heel can easily fall off, especially on stairs! I mean, come on! That's not a plot hole.
The part of the sorceress curse was that everyone would forget about the castle and its inhabitants existence unless they had come across it themselves which they hadn’t because of the danger of the forest
Ariel knows her dad own a massive gold glowing trident, but is amazed beyond belief when she sees a fork, plus she brushes her hair with it. She's most likely seen her dad hunt with his Trident, so she also knows how dangerous it is and that it can penetrate anything if you through it with the right accuracy and velocity. So basically: Ariel: _Oh look! A tiny version of my dad's massive, emmensely dangerous Trident! Better brush my hair with it so I have a chance of it penetrating my scalp!_
I always thought that the reason behind Sebastian's West Indian accent was that The Little Mermaid is set not in Denmark, but in the Caribbean Sea near one or more of the Virgin Islands, during the era when they belonged to Denmark/Norway (1672 -1917). That's how I've always rationalized it to myself, anyway. :-)
And in hercules, the reason it was above all the others was because the situatations before he was risking his life, whereas to save meg as far as everyone was concerned he was knowingly giving it or exchanging it....he didn't know he would be saved by the gods and become one for that.
Saturday Books I heard one explanation. Anna didn’t know where Elsa was going, or where the North Mountain was. It’s safe to claim that Anna might have been moving in the wrong direction when she was heading for Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post and Sauna.
Sandy Karpe That's actually right and also because they exited Arendelle two different ways. Elsa exited via the frozen frojd and Anna through the town gates. It also, sadly, helps that Elsa had a little more tutorage of the kingdom and its surrounding areas than Anna did.
Also, In Cinderella, who on earth calls you his one true love and then forgets what you look like the next day and has to put a shoe on every girl in the kingdom?!!!!!
The Little Mermaid: when she signs the contract to give up her voice, it is clear she can write. So why can’t she write messages to Prince Eric on paper instead of staying mute and trying to communicate through body language since she can write?
for the beauty and the beast one, i'd assume that the castle was wrecked a bit when everyone was leaving the castle in fear, and that the witch took their memories of the royal family so no one would go and try to save the prince.
If Scar killed Simba himself, the Lionesses in the pride would've detected the smell of his blood on his claws and fangs, and it would have blown his plan. Even when you wash off blood, the scent can still stick for a while longer and cats have a strong sense of smell.
They took a lot of liberties when they made _Hercules._ Originally he only did all the heroics to be forgiven for murdering his wife and children in a blind rage, which only happened because Hera hated him and cursed him. After he was forgiven, he still couldn't live with the guilt, and burned himself alive. The fires "purified" him of his mortal imperfections, and his soul ascended to Olympus.
So, actually in Frozen, Hans tells all of the ambassadors and guests that Anna is dead, so when they see her alive, they immediately wouldve known that Hans had lied.
As far as The Little Mermaid is concerned, I hear this all the time: Wouldn't merpeople NOT eat fish?! Of course they would! Most species of fish and other marine animals EAT FISH!!! Unless they're like, I dunno, parrot fish and eat coral or something, but then they'd have beaks, plus coral are animals too! If they're bigger sized fish, they'll eat smaller fish since they aren't equipped to gather large amounts of plankton/krill to eat, but again, those are animals too.
A mermaid's diet mainly consists of seafood, actually. Of course, some merfolk may have small companions - such as Sebastian and Flounder - But they are usually Carnivore. Of course, they can eat other things too, like seaweed. OwO
-Beauty & the Beast: See most of it wasn't really structural damage overall, gonna go with "Beast anger fits wrecked the place" -Aladin: Entirely possible it was just Jedi mind trick rules; the Sultan was REALLY weak-minded compared to the strong-willed daughter -Little Mermaid: ...I have rather wondered about their diet, largely because of the seafood emphasis when among the humans... -Frozen had several holes beyond those....the whole "last minute rewrite" feel was really potent, especially considering Elsa should've been the villain...
Sleeping Beauty is actually based off Maleficent, in which Maleficent is the villain and the hero, but in Sleeping Beauty she is only the villain, making the two movies annoyingly different. Come on Disney, you're always lacking some intelligence every now and again.
What are you saying ? The original story is centered around Sleeping Beauty (and her family), not at all Maleficent. Although in the original story "Maleficent" (actually just an old angry fairy) isn't the main villain, she's just one of them. She only curses her, another fairy makes it so she'll sleep, she falls asleep for 100 years, and that's it. The true villain in Perrault's version, for example, is actually the Prince's mother who's an ogress who tries to eat Aurora and her kids. The earliest "versions" of it don't even mention the old fairy, it's just a random curse or she's found like that. Although to me these earliest versions shouldn't really be considered as original versions of the Sleeping Beauty we now know. They're more like what inspired them, and they're now completely different and simply share the "a high born girl slept for years" plot (in the earliest versions the Sleeping Beauty isn't even a Princess and it's not even a curse). By the way, in Perrault's story the fairies are much more badass: they move in flaming cart pulled by dragons.
I have one from Frozen! This is very similar to Scar's mistake! Hans said that he wanted to kill Elsa as he claimed that that's the only way to stop the winter, but why did he wait until the end of the movie to kill her? He had so many chances to kill Elsa: When the Ice Palace collapsed, he could have easily slayed her but instead he talked to Elsa and helped her calm down by saying to not be the monster they say you are! And if that's not weird enough, he locked Elsa in a cell and instead of privately killing her and taking the throne to himself, he talked to her again to try and get her to reverse the storm she made! And there are so many other things I can say on how Hans's twist to villainy makes no sense and because his actions prior to his betrayal contradicts his "true motivation"
I hated Bolt's ending you had a beautiful scene of Penny trapped in a burning building getting rescued by Bolt then she goes into the hospital has plastic surgery and it was all a TV episode cliché.
When Penny quit the show, they recast her role, and they had to explain why the new actor looked different. The solution? plastic surgery. Not really a plot hole
The only one that called Elsa a monster was the duke. No one cared about the duke in the end. Everyone else was just shocked. Besides, it was quite obvious by the end Elsa didn't mean to freeze everything, and she removed it. I don't see the plot hole there.
The big one for me is Olaf in Frozen. Elsa's powers are established at the start. She freezes anything she touches, can create ice and snow from the air and shape it any way she chooses. She does not have the ability to create sentient life forms. I think audiences can forgive this oversight because Olaf was easily the best thing about the movie, makes me want a pet sentient snowman.
"She does not have the ability to create sentient life forms" Olaf's existence blatantly disproves that point. She always had that ability, and Olaf (and Marshmallow) are the results of when she used it.
Actually it is confirmed by the creators of Frozen that Elsa's ice is alive to a certain degree. Examples are shown lightly throughout the film but the obvious ones are her ice palace and the blizzard toward the end of the film.
I am not a Penguin - Except the Snow Queen from the original 1844 story does create living snow creatures to attack Gerda at one point. So she's had that power for 170 years.
1. Scar didn't kill Simba himself because the lionesses would've smelled his blood all over him. 2. (As you said) They explained it in the live action. 3. Diablo only found the fairies and Aurora because they finally started using magic again. 4. It is addressed in the movie that Jafar's powers aren't that powerful until he wishes for it from the Genie. 5. Cinderella's shoe gets stuck in the stairwell, and the reason why it doesn't fit any other maiden is because it's enchanted to only fit her, not because of the size. 6. Hercules' "heroic" act was such because he willingly gave up his life to save Megara; all of the other times before, he was acting selfishly in order to be a hero and he didn't actually lose his life. 7. I don't remember exactly, but aren't the gorillas moving when Clayton arrives to hunt them? 8. Mermaids probably do eat fish anyway, given that a lot of fish are carnivores and eat other fish. 9. In Toy Story 2 the new Buzz reveals that they're trained to remain frozen until unpacked (probably also stretches into human presence). 10. That could be forgiven by the Arendalites' loyalty to their throne. The only one that truly seems to fear Queen Elsa in Frozen (other than herself) is the Duke; the Arendale citizens just seem perplexed and worried, and throughout the film they show a lot of love and respect for both Anna and Elsa.
What I found even more confusing about Maleficent's little bird is, when it found the fairies, while they were passing magical spells to color something blue or pink, it got hit by their magic a few times and and still stayed black!
Cinderella; Sometimes shoes, especially with high heels, they can just come off sometimes, especially if it doesnt have a strap. The real question is why did the shoe not change but the rest of the clothes did?
Ok the whole Ariel eating fish thing,is it actually confirmed Ariel knew what she was eating before she saw Sebastian? I know in the musical at least it is confirmed she didn't know until she sees the food herself.
Hercules only got to be a God after he saved Meg because he finally put himself in harms way. Prior to this, he never thought he was going to die. But there was a real chance of him dying when his jumped into the Soul pit. His body began fading away, & still he did not turn back.
but he wasn't saving people because it was the right thing to do he was doing it so he would be a hero and ascend to olympus, the real plot hole of hercules is the magic anti-god juice that hades just has for reasons, and again for reasons doesn't have more of it or straight up use it on zeus
The Good Dinosaur started with the main conflict being they didn't have enough food for winter. Then the dad dies , he gets lost and finds his way home. Never resolving the food issue...
I'd say the Hercules one is kind of explained in the movie as he performs most of his heroic acts because he wants to become a hero and be re-established as a god again and is only really thinking of personal gain, which makes it somewhat less heroic.
about frozen: when Hans left Anna to die, he told everyone that she already had. when she then turned up alive, people probably understood that something was off. he then tried to kill elsa, which made him look even worse. And when Elsa thawed arendell, it showed that she didn´t want to doom the kingdom, she just didnt know how to fix it.
For Hercules he was doing all those other things for the fame not just for the sake of doing it. That's why his most selfless act the one he wasn't sure if he was going to be able to do was the one that got him into Olympus
Ariel signed the scroll entering into the contract with Ursula. If she could write, why didn't she just jot down a quick note to Eric explaining everything and who she was?
She lives in the sea. She's probably never really learned to write. When she signed the scroll, all she wrote was "Ariel." That could, quite possibly, be the only word she knows how to write.
Heather Finerfrock I might buy that but then she should at least have been able to communicate her name to Eric before their evening boat ride when they almost kissed.
@Screen Rant if you actually pay attention to the film you will notice that once hans tells elsa that anna is dead she drops to her knees and the storm stops. all the snowflakes are frozen in mid air making it very easy to see what is going on. there are a group of people watching from the castle and they see hans raise his sword and prepare to kill elsa. to which anna intervenes and saves her. also the movie is set in 1839.
One thing that bothers me about Frozen is that after the king and queen died, someone would have had to manage the kingdom until Elsa came of age. Alex Hardbarger it’s called a regency.
Another plot hole with Cinderella is that the Prince traveled around the kingdom to see which girls foot fitted the shoe, like he had forgotten what Cinderella looked like.

Dan Wills This is why I prefer the original story.

It's just like how no one knows that Clark Kent is Superman.

if that were so, the other lions would have noticed Mufasa's blood on Scare's claws.
@@samveigh7497 Except that Mufasa died from the fall. There wasn't any blood spilled.
This is a bit late but I expected the reason to be because Mufasa likes playing with his food. When we see him for the first time playing and talking to the mice that was gonna be his meal, taking too long and losing the mouse by the end. Seems like a pretty cool foreshadow to Mufasa's demise
@@TheBronzeEra I think you mean Scar...

In lion king scar didn't want Simba' s blood on him plus I think sending 3 hyenas after him is more than sufficient to kill a cub, and like the hyenas said cubs that age can't really survive on their own. The real plot hole is his survival.
Frankie White Hakuna Matata bitch. Nuff said
He met those guys, and sang Hakuna Matata and lived off of bugs until he was an adult.
agreed
Well how could anyone see Hakuna Matata coming? :D
Frankie White The BIGGER plot hole to ME is: How did Scar meet ZIRA?? ANOTHER plot hole is, where was ZIRA in the FIRST movie along with her rogue pride.
Simba's and Mufasa's deaths had to look like they weren't Scar's fault. That's why he used the stampede and the hyenas instead of doing it himself.
Agreed. It would have been a plot hole if Scar DID kill him, as they would never have accepted him as king. Leaving him alive was a necessary risk.
We Played That Exactly. When he dives in to save Meg he's making a sacrifice.
Exactly what I was thinking!
We Played That uhhhh.. translation?
Ohhhh nvr mind
It would actually be Roman, Heracles is Greece
In the 2017 Beauty & The Beast they show that the castle's appearance is connected to the falling rose petals. The castle falls apart more & more every time a petal falls.
Michelle DiPalo Yeah, but they decided that the 2017 version didn't matter here. Why? Reasons
Sponsor Man the original book says that too
Michelle DiPalo you are very right
Michelle DiPalo Yeah thats true legit every hardcore disney fan knows that
In Frozen the townspeople had been told that Anna had died, I'm sure they realised that Hans was lying and tried to kill her when she turned up. This would have been treason so they were probably perfectly happy that she punched him in the face,
Mezza Hans' entire plan was a plot hole
The lion king: I think scar wanted to give simba a running chance, villains do that a lot in movies.
The little mermaid: I’m pretty sure there are some seafood they eat, since seaweed contains no protein whatsoever
Ursula was seen gorging on shrimp, so you are right about that. XD
SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST, EVEN UNDERWATER~! -Evil laughter-
Well I mean yeah you can compare to humans eating meat lol
Like seaweed? Dried and salted, it's delicious. My own opinion.
Maybe Buzz has a really fast mind? Lol idk XD
Tobin Elad Actually he just believes he's on a secret mission from Star Command. You can look this up online.
On cinderella, I see how it came off. Sometimes when a foot moves in a certian way the perfect fit could come off
it happened to me
Sebastian was meant to have a British accent but they changed it to Jamaican as they believed that a Brit and a French man at war with each other would represent the feud between Britain and France too much
Li Morgan The chef was French, so that scene could have represented the French Revolution if Sebastian had been French. And isn't the chef the biggest threat to Sebastian?
Huh?
I always thought the name thing was more of a "foreplay" to The Kiss. Like flirting.
If she had asked him it would not have been the "kiss of true love." Remember Ursula said: Not just any kiss. :)
Kaz Eremos Did it look like she had paper during the "Kiss the Girl" sequence?
Ryan Gillen, then how does Woody move in front of Sid and say he's a bully?
@@h.k.6322 To scare him so he could save Buzz.
In the original story, the glass slipper fell off because the Prince put tar on the stairs in order to stop her.
Weren't there also multiple balls, as well? And she kept leaving?
Like in Into the Woods.
Nicholas Ruhling
That was in Into the Woods. Where the prince cheats on her. Yeah
Wow.
High heels falling off isn't exactly an uncommon thing. It happens a lot, in both fiction and real life. Plus, they weren't really designed for running, despite what the creators of Jurassic World seem to think. What I want to know is, why doesn't she have any toes?
Simple explanation would be hose/stockings. Which would inadvertently also explain the shoe slipping off part .
Or they were sacrifice to make foot small and pretty.
Small, maybe. Pretty, hardly.
Prince disagrees.
Ariel's dad owns a massive glowing trident, and is amazed by a fork. Logic 👍
A trident has three prongs and a fork is smaller and has four prongs. You can kinda understand why'd she be fascinated by it
wesleyv1 one more prong, amazing 👍
well apple user could relate....
Well she is a mermaid who loves humans so she would wonder what it does and it’s purpose I would be to
Logic
Cinderella:
Prince falls in love with princess. Next day, he can't remembercwhat she looks like.
Logic.
Well... They met on a party...
Well you can't remember the Grand Duke however.
My theory: The prince is on drug
To explain why buzz freezes like the other toys, perhaps it's because he wants to blend in and be liked by the locals. He does what they do so they'll like him and be his friends....or something.
WolverinesFan 1990 or maybe its toy instinct to automatically freeze when any human is in the room or looking at the toy
This natural ability could be unlocked the moment they are unpackaged~
Maybe
prplaysmc but Buzz doesn't know he's a toy so he has no idea what humans are or their role in the world he's just copying what he sees the natives doing
The beauty in the beast plot hole got solved when they brought it to live action. They said that the curse caused everyone to forget. That’s why Mr. Potts didn’t even remember that he had a wife Mrs Potts and a son named Chip.
But then how did Lumiere remember he was in love with Lunette or whatever her name is, I forgot...
+GuineaPigLover Raya maybe cause Lunette was also affected by the curse?
Katie Denmark oh yeah
CharlieAlphaTV i
Ok ok Ariel can't talk but she can write we see her do it!
Why do you keep mentioning the glass slipper being a perfect fit? You do realize perfect fit does not mean it is impossible to fall off right? You can still lose a shoe no matter how well it fits.
SoulPhantom but she was the only on it would fit on
SoulPhantom that is true especially with high heels. Also can't the shoe fit anyone else? If the shoe fit someone else the prince would be married to... well, SOMEONE ELSE and render the movie to make no sense whatsoever
She has a size 2 shoe
(Try saying THAT 5 times fast!)
Screen Rant you guys do realize that the part with Simba and Scar is more of a nitpick than it is a plot hole yes scar could have eaten Simba but he chose to let the hyenas do it instead so it's more of a nitpick then a plot hole at least I think so.
shidae quashie thank you. Scar told them to kill Simba... the hyenas failed
shidae quashie did u notice, happily ever after,Scar burns and gets eaten alive
PinkFluffyUnicorns Dabbin'OnRainbows of course I noticed I've seen the movie multiple times but again I was just telling Screen Rant that what they refer to as a pothole isn't really a pothole it's more of a nitpick than anything else.
shidae quashie Not to mention, Scar is a coward and rarely does his own dirty work.
The Scar one was silly. He got the hyenas to do it, why not?
Hans had already lied about Anna being dead
With Hercules, it was that he had to sacrifice himself for someone. Fighting monsters wasn't what it meant to be a true hero.
Probably because she didn't have a goal like Hercules did? She did die after the pillar you know and Hercules had to save her.
The used the opening shot to claim that the castle was visible, ignoring that the forest is overgrown when Belle's story starts
Hans's entire dang plan is a plot hole based on how royal hierarchy works. you'd think being a prince he'd know about that but eh *shrugs*
They celebrated because Hans lied to them. He said Anna was dead and she clearly isn't.
How about this plot hole: Why doesn't Ariel just write Eric a note that explains everything???
She lives in the sea. I doubt she's ever had to write before - or ever even learned. When she signs her name, all she signs is "Ariel." That, quite possibly, could be the only thing she actually DOES know how to spell.
Also doesn't she need to make him fall for herself in order to fully become human ? Explaining everything wouldn't necessarily help. It's not because she explains everything that he'll just fall for her.
The only problem is that she never even writes down her name for him...
Me to Jafar
Your overconfidence is your weakness.
Jafar: your movie references are yours
Hercules was only fighting all the other monsters just to become a hero his motives aren't entirely pure, when he saves Meg it's because he loves her and he believes it's the right thing to do. Which proves his motives to be pure.
I like they also fixed the cinderella shoe thing in Into The Woods, where she only lost a shoe because it got stuck :3
That is a good question. Obviously, the enchanted castle workers can't grow food or buy it.
Magic.
So nitpicky these are. Like B and the B, just bc it's not stated that the villagers were cursed as well, it can be assumed.
I'm pretty sure they were cursed too to forget loved ones who worked at the castle. They forgot their prince/castle and tended to their own business??? (Still plot holes for neighbouring villages that knew of the castle) tricky tricky
Ryan’s toy
Thank you!
Hercules: Not saving someone, giving your life up for someone.
Makes sense
cinderella's glass slipper could mean being rigid around a flexible feet lodges you off
I kind of dissagree with you on the Hans thing.
The chef in Ariel: isn't he the same guy in Hotel Transylvania?
by the way, with the Sebastian thing, if they are in Denmark, then why aren't you questioning the American and British accent?
This is so much fun I will try another! The reason Cinderella shoe falls off is because she's been dancing. Her feet are sweaty. Causes lubrication against the glass slipper. Therefore falls off more easily. 😊
So why did one shoe fall off
james howe Because that was possible. She was equally likely to lose no slipper as she was to lose one or both
Then why did it stay glass
james howe That is indeed a plot hole, but you didn't bring it up
It stayed glass because it was a gift from her fairy godmother. At least that's what I always assumed. When everything falls apart and she sees the one glass slipper is still a glass slipper, she grasps it and looks up at the sky and says "Oh, thank you, fairy godmother," or something to that effect. I always assumed she was thanking her for both that night AND for letting her keep a souvenir.
the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast actually fixes most if the biggest plotholes.
Plot holes, more like terrible cartoon logic, Ariel is a cannibal, confirmed.
we never see Ariel actually eat the food, do we?
Nah, it's just nitpicking fictional cartoons. I guess people are obsessed with science laws.
So basically:
Ariel: _Oh look! A tiny version of my dad's massive, emmensely dangerous Trident! Better brush my hair with it so I have a chance of it penetrating my scalp!_
Dark Wolf Emryn - That's... actually a pretty good catch!
What annoys me is that Elsa got to the North Mountain in less than a night while it took Anna and Christoff a couple of days.
Cinderella's shoe only fit her because it's a magic slipper. It wouldn't fit anyone else because the magic wouldn't let it
They say Cinderella was a size 4 which is a VERY uncommon shoe size.
Cinderella: Forget the glass slipper, how did she not know that was the prince?
The Little Mermaid: when she signs the contract to give up her voice, it is clear she can write. So why can’t she write messages to Prince Eric on paper instead of staying mute and trying to communicate through body language since she can write?
for the beauty and the beast one, i'd assume that the castle was wrecked a bit when everyone was leaving the castle in fear, and that the witch took their memories of the royal family so no one would go and try to save the prince.
All powerful ice goddess who nearly destroyed the kingdom over a tantrum. 'questions why people would pretend to like her'
maybe Elsa wasn't burned for with craft because they realized the futility of trying to burn an infinite source of ice. lol
I mean, is it really that hard to believe that mermaids eat fish? Other fish eat fish, survival at the fittest and all
anna face punching hans was my favorite part. "WHOO! YOU GO GIRL!!!!!! STICK IT TO THE MAN!!!!"
That's not creepy at all.........
+The Stranger Person
Greek and Roman mythology makes Game of Thrones look like a nursery rhyme.
So, actually in Frozen, Hans tells all of the ambassadors and guests that Anna is dead, so when they see her alive, they immediately wouldve known that Hans had lied.
I think those guys in frozen clapped when Anna punched Hans because they saw him try to kill Elsa
OwO
-Beauty & the Beast: See most of it wasn't really structural damage overall, gonna go with "Beast anger fits wrecked the place"
-Aladin: Entirely possible it was just Jedi mind trick rules; the Sultan was REALLY weak-minded compared to the strong-willed daughter
-Little Mermaid: ...I have rather wondered about their diet, largely because of the seafood emphasis when among the humans...
-Frozen had several holes beyond those....the whole "last minute rewrite" feel was really potent, especially considering Elsa should've been the villain...
its so annoying when ur watching something and there is something distracting u but u cant stop it
Sleeping Beauty is actually based off Maleficent, in which Maleficent is the villain and the hero, but in Sleeping Beauty she is only the villain, making the two movies annoyingly different.
Come on Disney, you're always lacking some intelligence every now and again.
Freycossy Gaming sleeping beauty is the original story, so actually maleficent is based off sleeping beauty. And I hated “Maleficent”
Maleficent is based on Sleeping Beauty though?
Multiple mid roll ads? Come on, greedy....
my3stooges They always have so many
He needs to make money bruh
In frozen, the Troll said that Elsa can't control her powers. But why not teach her how to control it.
Star Pit they did that because she quite the show
It still didn't fit with the previous scene.
When Penny quit the show, they recast her role, and they had to explain why the new actor looked different. The solution? plastic surgery. Not really a plot hole
Micah Flanders You really shouldn't have to explain that. It was pretty clear
Parcel Ethryzarc, tell that to star pit
I am not a Penguin wat does sentient mean?
2:38 That was an idea that was so ridiculous that even Maleficent herself was laughing her ass off.
What I found even more confusing about Maleficent's little bird is, when it found the fairies, while they were passing magical spells to color something blue or pink, it got hit by their magic a few times and and still stayed black!
if scar wouls kill simba it would look more sucpisious
Cinderella; Sometimes shoes, especially with high heels, they can just come off sometimes, especially if it doesnt have a strap. The real question is why did the shoe not change but the rest of the clothes did?
Well I had no issues until this video...so.. yeah! Thanks a lot!
buzz is just programmed to be a " space ranger " but he does not want to let andy know
Ok the whole Ariel eating fish thing,is it actually confirmed Ariel knew what she was eating before she saw Sebastian? I know in the musical at least it is confirmed she didn't know until she sees the food herself.
The Cinderella shoe is NOT a plot hole. FEET SWEAT!
Hercules only got to be a God after he saved Meg because he finally put himself in harms way. Prior to this, he never thought he was going to die. But there was a real chance of him dying when his jumped into the Soul pit. His body began fading away, & still he did not turn back.
The beauty and the Beast castle thing was definitely better explained in the remade movie, because I asked myself that too.
but he wasn't saving people because it was the right thing to do he was doing it so he would be a hero and ascend to olympus, the real plot hole of hercules is the magic anti-god juice that hades just has for reasons, and again for reasons doesn't have more of it or straight up use it on zeus
