Why you go blank and forget vocabulary when you speak English

  • Many students come to me saying despite over a year of studying English they still go blank and forget vocabulary in a conversation, mostly, because they don't understand one of the most important things about learning English that we very often get zero support with at school: learning English is an emotionally-charged activity.
    For us not to go blank and forget vocabulary, we need to be in a calm state, not worrying about the mistakes we make or get nervous when words don't come out as planned. This takes practice, but working on this is the reason most of my students in our fluency community no longer feel nervous about speaking English within a month after joining us.

    In this video, and a Part 2 continuation on this (I realised I was speaking for too long 😅), I'll be sharing some of the most important contributors to going blank and not finding the right words - besides lack of practice and consistency, it's very often a lack of effective practice

      @@CsabiEnglishCoach That we need speak whatever if it not right. Cause our brain will try protect us, but it's important don't give up and keep striving about this fear to make mistakes.
