When are you going to stop looking under oil caps, means nothing on rotarys. they all condensate to a degree and especially if emissions stuff has been removed
Old habit I guess, sometimes when I’ve done that they are filled with shit and the plates honeycomb with rust that has gone up to the filler neck. Also sometimes the cap has been sealed up with no oil breather outlet or vent.
love seeing this on youtube. U bought this car from my dad 😂. Glad to see such an amazing person with passion towards cars. Especially one that i was in
Keep up the great videos!!! I love watching your videos. That RX2 is amazing! Keep looking under the oil caps and radiator caps. I like that because I do the same thing . It’s just something we automatically do whenever looking at a car rotary engine or not. I saw some rust in that RX3 radiator when you removed the cap. Cheers from Rob
Cheers rob thanks for watching, don’t know why people would not look under the rad cap or oil it’s a easy and obvious thing todo. When I’ve bought cars at auctions had people say to me why do u start them up, lol. Different courses for different horses I guess
lol, good old crusty 8 track cassette of all girl rock group Fanny in the RX3, haha, I would leave that RX3 as is & go for mad sunday drives though I would throw a bigger exhaust on it, kinda surprizing how many little 10a twin dizzies have been on your channel so far it's kool that there are still a few getting around hey :)
@@misfirerotary yeh love the colour on the RX2, lol, you should have left that in :) kinda strange that a girl band would choose Fanny as their band name, guess they wanted to stand out hey, haha :)
What's the tank in the boot of the RX2? Fuel tank was under the boot floor? Also was the boot flat or had the wheel well? I know the SA RX2s have the same boot floor regardless if they are piston or not.
david husband because I’m talking about it in a hypothetical form it doesn’t matter it still is a us spec car it still has several things on the exterior that give that away.
@@msengineeringdavid3148 like the right hand drive😂 the us spec ones were still converted to lhd for that market.. Id say its jdm car....the savanna features gives it away. Dash, lights, badging

misfiRE I’ve seen that too. Sludge city . As though they never changed the oil.
@@gaspumprob of course, but a simple check of the dip stick be a better indication of oil quality wouldnt it?
@@gaspumprob guess I was looking for a blown head gasket 🤣
jrad mcgowan Yes your right and I noticed he did do that in addition to checking the oil cap on the RX-3 .
Love the green colour 👍
All these old mazdas coming out of the woodwork good to see.
It was good to see a couple quality ones come through not rust buckets👍
Lol this looked like my old RX2 coupe from 18 years ago. My RX2 was blue before it was painted green.

misfiRE I’m looking forward to an interview someday here in the USA with my 72 Mazda RX-2 coupe! Your channel rocks !!!
@@gaspumprob was meant to be over there this year however now no flights, cheers u like channel I’m still having fun wit it👍
misfiRE That’s what I thought. Maybe after this pandemic is over we can meet up at Seven Stock out here in California.
My channel is slowly growing with mainly vintage Petro content and a bit of Rotary content. I love all this stuff! Thanks again
Sick videos
That rx2 !! And those wheels 🤤🤤
I agree that Rx2 is my favourite colour for one👍👌👌👌

Sorry no don’t sell any parts only the occasional spare
Awesome rx2 . Is it on grays online?
Not yet will b
Lol is that an original muffler?
Lol yeah nah dunno🤣🤣😭😭 don’t care luved the car
Fuck I wish I had some money to throw around at the moment
Love the 70s mazdas
damn, my great grandfather had one, wish he hadn't gave it to the junkyard😢
If you are going to show a true cold start of any combustion engine, touch the exhaust header not the engine. Engines get no where near as hot.
Not a Japanese car.. it’s a USDM car
They all made in Japan
misfiRE I understand that but based on features and engine it would be US Spec
david husband no shit Sherlock
