Ho nik, thank you for all, you are a great master, a scientist of spiritual sound and silence, the énergy of all things is transcending within you and us, thank you I dream to see you and the band soon or after

Many thanks, Nik & Co.! Grateful for seeing this and linking it with what I've learned from your masterclass in Bucharest some years ago. All the best!
Congratulations on such a beautiful documentary. It really allows the viewer to understand your views and your way of thinking about music in a much more profound way. You are a true inspiration for all artists, not only musicians. Looking forward to your next release!
@@ErezMarom Thank you for your interest and feedback. A true pleasure to share the ideas and to talk about it. We just released the RONIN album SPIИ in case you did not see it yet: nikbaertsch.bandcamp.com/album/spin
This film is such a great opportunity to know all the musicians almost personally, not only as one of my favourite band, but also like a circle of friends, at least my imaginary "inner" friends) Great video that opens up Nik's philosophy- it's very valuable for me And, last but not least, the film is done very talented- the way it is written and filmed Thanks for sharing this! Wish you a good and inspirational year
@@mittridgebibimix7809 thank you for your feedback and inside view. Good to hear that the way of working of director Julian Phillips creates such a communicative perspective - we can be all glad he wanted to do this! 🎶
I've enjoyed watching this series so much, a great insight into all the inspiration and hard work that leads to the music we love. With all the intriguing rhythmic cycles and interactions, I wonder how different listeners perceive and respond to the music? Even with pieces I know well, I can usually only follow one or two of the rhythmic patterns. The ability to sense and follow the interplay between all the different cycles is probably only something that the band themselves, and maybe exceptional listeners, can do. I don't think this reduces the enjoyment we can all get from focussed listening to the music, but I wonder if Nik and the band have talked with audiences about the different listening experiences? I would love to be able to listen more deeply and follow more of the rhythmic interplay, but I think that needs a lot of dedicated practise!
@@Howard_Wright Thank you sharing these impressions and questions. It’s true: as a composer, player and listener we can sensually surf on these cycles or dive into them deeper and deeper. The multidimensional topography of the Moduls offer constant spacial growth in our minds, depending on our interactions. I share these sensual and awareness techniques in workshops and also in the book about several aspects of our work: www.lars-mueller-publishers.com/listening?srsltid=AfmBOor9Urf2OeevH5_gRGdDLZT9s6RzdYj1ou-wLecI5UgaA4Ywqhad The goal is to increase your awareness and focus capacity by enjoying the music. @@nikbaertsch Many thanks for your reply. The workshops, especially the more music-focussed ones, sound really interesting. A chance to immerse ourselves a little deeper and to learn more. I hope I will find a chance to attend one before too long!
Nik's music has affected the way I think, the way I move, the ways in which I experience reality, my capacity and search for joy, and so many other bits of my self. If that's odd, I openly embrace odd. I've described this music (to the uninitiated) as something of a scouring exercise in my brain, where the "crates" of memories, thoughts, dreams, desires and all the rest, are tidied and rearranged, bringing something like sense and order to this mess of neurons. Odd is Go(o)d.😁
@@livy1962 I find the music has worked its way into the wiring of my brain in both a thoughtful, musicianly way and a dancing around the kitchen way too. I love those feelings combined.
