Enjoyed that extremely muddy trip Jarek ,you do find some beautiful ammonites in that quarry.Well done on saving that little one and a nice little Nautilus super find ❤
Nice tour 👍 After 40 years collecting fossils, i learned that they havn't to be perfect. Someonce are looking more interesting and beautiful like your peace of the ammonite mould with the rip and praise lines, for me, that was the coolest find 😉🤠 Keep going with this verry nice video-presentations 🤘 Best greedings from Bavaria.
Wow...great finds. I like that you could get enough prep to see them but still have them contained in the host rock. Really cool to see that. Stay safe and Happy New Year!
I think that sometimes such damaged or empty ammonites are very valuable because they show the animal's anatomical structure well. The suture line amazed me.
You know, I like the big broken amonite for the snowflake suture line s and the multi colors. So, I could see it displayed standing with a lens in front and maybe a spot light, so you could see the sutures and the colors.
When i take these broken ammonites i end up happy in the end - but on the spot when i find bigger broken one im always dissapointed and want to toss it away😁🫠

Looks more impresive when its in native matrix😁, i only remove pieces fully out of matrix if they are super small:)
nice🎉
💪
Large complete ammonites seem to still evade you, but it seems you had a nice time anyway, despite all the mud 😂
Ye man, statistically speaking i think i already should have atleast one complete big one..😫

Yes at first it was exciting, but most of the bigger very empty inside so now i want complete ones!😁 with iredescent shells😩
The car was absolutely cooked after MUD RIDE
It was cooked even more when we were going home trough the same road😆
Incroyable découvertes qui ne manque pas d'originalité et tout en couleur, merci pour le partage. Happy new year 2025 !
My pleasure💪😁🔥
