      Just a quick friendly advice - it is actually illegal to drink and kayak in all 50 states, including the bay in California. The law does not distinguish between a motor vehicle and a kayak (edit to clarify that California VC and HNC have near identical sections governing motor vehicle and marine vessel in terms of intoxication... and BAC above 0.08 is NOT needed to be charged with DUI/BUI under California laws). So that sip of beer and open container is actually very illegal and can land you in jail just as if you were driving a car. So you may not want to show that in your video.

      @1jbm2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@codecover9888 I believe you’re mistaken. The law does distinguish between a vessel and a motor vehicle for open container laws. But it is illegal to operate a vessel while intoxicated.

    • @tombrooks3812
      @tombrooks3812 ปีที่แล้ว

      you are right about boards needing to be wood. im a butcher and back in the 80s the feds came in and made us go to plastic theze new blocks reaked havoc on our knifes but another problem with them is the knifes make very fine cuts in the plastic blocks and its almost impossible to get all the bacteria out of these slits but the feds wouldnt let us go back to wood. Typical they just couldnt admit they made a mistake.

    My bro with the greatest care without sounding frustrated, please don't risk your life like that with the Maker. Let me ask you, if you saw a person at the beach hooking a dog onto a fish hook, flung the dog out to sea and drowned the dog, then proceeded to cook and eat it. Would you not be outraged?

    That salmon jerky idea is actually a really, really good idea if it tastes as good as you say it is. If it was marketed and distributed well it could take off as a tasty and healthier jerky.
    No one really eats chums and pinks (other than canned I believe), and they are everywhere in Alaska.... Usually just used as bait (as you obv know).
