I own 5 acres and wanted to sell the back part of my property. The city said it would be a build able lot once subdivided. We hired Prello to list the property on the MLS. I wanted to advertise, coming in a few months , pics of the property, and the dimensions, with a description. I don't want to spend money on a surveyor unless there is interest from the MLS.. Prello won't list it without a lot number, and said it would be illegal to do so. I wanted to leave it open to the prospective buyer in case they wanted more or less land but they're telling me I can't. So I pay 1,500 $ to a surveyor for a lot, then the buyer says he wants more or less now I'm hiring a surveyor again. This doesn't make sense to me, can someone explain please, I'm near Chicago.
