      And when you’re short it’s really hard to stay skinny. It’s basically like you’re on a diet all the time. You have to skip a meal if you want to eat two good meals , not like what Megan eats… like macaroni, fried chicken, a steak, etc. In first world countries our food is very calorie dense and we grew up on it so eating kale salads is a challenge lol

    For berries, you can blend a large amount, strain the seeds, and freeze in silicone trays to use as needed.
    And, if you hate leafy greens, having them in a smoothie is a great option. All you taste is the fruit.

      @@BL3SSed-Bliss the flesh and the seeds contain both, the seeds just have additional compounds. The beauty of straining is you can remove all the seeds, or just reduce the amount. And eating the fruit whole is still an option.

    Chewing your smoothie is actually way better for your digestion because it releases enzymes you need for it to be more easily broken down, giving your cells the necessary nutrients! Agreed that it's better as a snack, because our bodies naturally respond to meals/drinks that are hot when we first wake up and break our fast to start our digestion process. Zuchinni is my fave veggie too 💚 team Meagan 100% 😛 I enjoy when you make these videos, for FUN 😊❤

      I used to drink a smoothie everyday for lunch. I lost 57 lbs. I also stopped eating crap and drinking soda. Now I can only drink it with a meal or terrible hunger comes in 30 mins after I drink it. I still do though. Healthy ones and she is supposed to chew the smoothie instead of just swallowing it down. That's how a lot of people consume too many calories, by drinking them.

    Carbs are best to eat for breakfast and lunch as it gives us energy. Dinner should consist of protein and vegetables followed by yogurt to help our food digest while we sleep. I’d also like to add that veggies and fruit are carbs!! Not that that should deter you from eating them- I just heard you say the only carb was the crotons in the salad. Romaine and zucchini do have carbs, but the good kind!

    I had my playback speed set to 1.5x for another video. I went 4 min into your video and I said “omg she usually is so calming for me but my anxiety is through the roof rn! She’s speaking so fast” and then I realized😂
    Edit: you can strain the seeds out for the smoothie next time. Also the kale salad I would try a different recipe. The Chick-fil-A kale salad is good. I recommend. And definitely sautéed kale with onions and red peppers is amazing. Recommend ❤

    Next time you make a smoothie ditch the ice cubes and just use frozen fruit. Way better than watering everything down. If ur trying this method and needing more liquid- a splash of juice/OJ in the barrel works great. So does adding a bit of yogurt

      I also like to add a little sprinkle or jello or jello pudding powder! Then stick back in the fridge for a little! You really get a great taste with protein powder and the consistency is much thicker!!! ❤

    I admire you for being so determined to eat healthy. I had a Dr. Tell me at the first of the year you have PCOS you’re never going to loose weight😢. So discouraging

      I read that it makes it harder, but if you want to keep fit for your health why not look for a dietician and some sport you like? Have the two docs work together to make a nutritional plan for you. Intersectionalism should be applied to medical stuff more often.

      The reason we gain weight due to PCOS is insulin resistance. There is no cure for IR, but there are various medications including metformin and the GLP-1 agonists. And no, GLP-1 agonists are not just appetite suppressants like the media promotes. They effectively treat IR which is why they are great for diabetics and PCOS.
      Women with PCOS also need to eat a balanced wholefoods diet and exercise regularly.

    I don’t know if you’ve lost weight because it’s impossible to tell on the internet 🤣but you definitely look healthier.     i’ve noticed how i’m treated before and after I disclose my weight i’m 6’2 mainly made of leg lol my weight is distributed pretty proportionally i’m told I look so good im so small for my height especially after having a baby then I say i’m 206lbs and it’s wow you don’t look it *heres unsolicited nutrition advice* also the weird comment of “don’t get comfortable being 200lbs” baby too late ☠️

    Take the kale drizzle with olive oil and sea salt bake it in the oven. It crunchy kale chips pretty good. Kale is so bitter I can’t do it raw with just kale

    I have been eating my colors/rainbow during the week… that simply means veggies and protein( sweet potatoes) during the week and then leave the weekend for my cheat days…

    If i eat kale raw, I like to eat kale with ceasar dressing, mushrooms, bacon, red onions & croutons. Sometimes, I add some grilled chicken for extra protein. If I eat it cooked, I like to add it to soups, pasta sauce, or I to make kale chips.

    Hi Sierra! Try massaging the kale and putting the dressing on then let it sit overnight. It’s much better the next day. There’s this recipe I use with sliced almonds and dried cranberries with a Dijon mustard dressing. So good!

    Ooo for kale you should definitely try kale chips in the air fryer. With seasonings it's really good my sister in law makes it all the time and it's so good

    I am glad someone else commented on the blackberry seeds, I made the smoothie but I think I used too much kale. A kale salad is good though but not the smoothie.
