It really annoys me how your channel hasn't exploded yet. You are so much more entertaining than others, high quality videos on great games. Keep up the awesome work WolfPack345!
You are using infrared too little. I was listening to a Polish officer who knows Russian tanks very well, and the German Leopards, and is now converting to the Abrams. His tips: infrared target selection (better visible), target fixation, data is remembered and when the cannon fires, he searches for new targets and marks them. The Leopart has 9 degrees of gun depression and the Soviet T-72 only 5 degrees. The commander, after finding the target, marks the target and can shoot alone, or he leaves the target marked the gunner and he shoots while the commander searches for new targets. Leopard can fight two targets simultaneously. Probably the same number targets at once Abrams too, the rest is done by the gunner. Tanks are the priority target, then destroy armored vehicles. In case of problems, you can smoke the area around the vehicle and safely retreat.
I have been following this game for about a year at this point, and I absolutely love it. It would be pretty intresting to have multi-player matches as well as German vehicles like Marders and Leopards

Very nice , I know it's only on PC now. But the developer should look into adding it to the newest consoles series X and PS5 . There have been a few PC only games that added console versions. And sold really well.
I wonder if you can use the commander's .50 cal; you could take out most Soviet APCs that way. On another note, you should check out the after action report. It shows the trajectory of all the shots fired (including MG rounds), their fragments, and damage taken/dealt. I saw some pretty amazing things looking at it, like an APFSDS round and its fragments passing within a hair's width of a gunner :D
You can later on. To fire the commander's gun the commander has to climb out of the hatch and can be shot at. They want to first implement the crew animation before they add that option.
so a couple things. as actionscripter and a few other pointed out pressing space bar will slew the turret to where your commander is roughly looking. as you have done aiming for center mass of the vehicle is best as this is not warthunder the penetrartion system is much more advanced so the chance of being able to single out a specific piece of internal equipment is limited at best and at worst a great way to get yourself killed through hesitation. thirdly you should switch ammo when targetting lightly armoured or non armoured targets, the tanks HEAT (or just HE i forget which it is) is very good at killing these targets and the gaem now simulate balst and shrapnel versus infantry so using it against the dug in missile teams is very cool. finally if you have access to the actual patreon build then id quite like to see you play around with the bradley IFV and if you are just on the steam demo then the t72 would make a change from the high tech m1
On the M1 series the ammo in the hull is not the ready rack. The ready rack is the left (loader's) side of the turret... when things get quiet they'll cross-load from the turret's right side storage and hull into the left
Hey wolfpack, I've been on GHPC for a long time now, when they get multiplayer set up I would love to help out. I was an armored cavalryman for 20 years in the army focused on Bradley, hit me up sometime
i wish there coming a ww2 dlc or something, because í loved Panzer elite special edition! and in the red right cornber when u destroyed the enemy tank was "hit commanders brain"
Oh yes. Can't wait for this game to release. No other realistic tank games out there. For content t-55 against abrams would be a great challenge to see.
There is a scenario in the game just for that. 3x T-55s move in on the flank of 4x distracted M1s. It still very much favors the Americans. Even from the side it's very difficult to make sure an Abrams is dead.
Whenever I’m using the M2 Bradley in GHPC, I find myself pumping dozens of rounds of 25mm into BMPs due to the fact that they often just don’t cook off from the 25mm and, as you said, it’s hard to tell when somethings truly out of action.
I've been contributing ever since I heard about it mainly because war thunder was such a mess. They do seem to have the proper vision but they are a small group and development has been pretty slow with lots of reasons being given. The biggest thing that worries me now is that they keep trying to increase the "wooh" factor by saying they are adding more vehicles. What they should focus on is gameplay and AI. We will see if the next patch really starts to pull the gameplay together a bit more.
The ol' 105mm rifled gun, eh? Not sure how that one performs, but the 120mm smoothbore is an absolute sniper, even at speed. The Abrams is a fantastic tank. A brand new generation (A4 or maybe A5 at this point, idk) with spaced reactive armor over the Chobham armor and fragmentation based anti-APFSDS units would make it extremely relevant.
Noticed there was no multiple return bar even when you lased and got flashing zeros. Also, Soviets don't have TOWs; proper response is SAGGER, SAGGER, SAGGER!, pop smoke, and back up and jinx till you hit cover or an IV line. Looks promising but won't be a true simulator until you can kick your gunner for doing something stupid or whack your driver through basket with your "Driver be good stick" when he falls asleep.
Well technically they did have a TOW missle, but ya you're 100 percent correct, if you take a hit and you don't know from where, smoke and back the hell up? Abrams has one hell of a reverse speed!
You might want to dump lead (control + E by default) so that auto lead on Abrams and m60TTS don't interfere with shooting stationary targets after you laze a stationary target.
I hope the sounds will be improved. From what I have read, the Abrams is quite noisy being powered by a turbine. At the moment it sounds like a well-oiled swiss watch. Interesting though.
