A lot of the synergies you mentioned don't work as intended as some work "At the beginning of combat" or "Creature needs to declare attack. not be attacking for the ability to trigger". I do like the list you but I actually went for Madison Li as my choice as she seemed a better outlet for Energy and she is a fun artifact storm commander. But Satya does have a fantastic blink-type strategy on him that could use multiple cards that just enter and give you value alongside strong creatures like Phyrexian Triniform, if you can cheat it out
Hi, as a certified Vehicles Liker, I can report that unfortunately, a vehicle that gets copied while crewed does not inherit its status of being crewed. Believe me, it'd be fun if Myriad and such worked on it. However, Satya specifies "this token" for its ability, so I don't think you can wiggle out of paying for it that way.
I actually won a precon tournament recently with Satya, very nutty when I copied Angel of innovation with Brudiclad while having a bunch of servo and copy tokens on the field, ended up with +10/+10 vigilance, lifelink, flying angels aside from the other creatures that get +11/+11.
I added quite a few things from satyas decklist to my madison li deck and it's pretty fun. But then again I also added Canoptek Tomb Sentinel, myr battlesphere and goblin welder for some graveyard fun.
Honestly they should’ve made this deck a temur one, there wasn’t a ton of green energy stuff in the main set but it’s there and I hope they do it some time
the salvation colossus line doesnt work in the same turn(exception we have extra combats), brudiclad changes tokens before attackers are declared and satya makes tokens after attackers are declared. same problem for lightning runner(need to have a pre-existing token or pay for its extra combat to make brudiclad copies).
I think the Fallout decks were filled with a bunch of cards that they were making for the other commander decks this year (or around the same time), but when Bethesda came around they took a lot of cards they were play testing and shoved them into the deck. Like I do wonder if the Hail Ceaser and OTC Most Wanted precons were originally the same being Mr House fits the idea of the OTC precon, and Luck and Charisma Bobbleheads somewhat.
20:51, Just wanna share that you misread the Vault 112 card. It exiles that many cards, but you may only cast ONE of them without paying their mana cost. It's a solid dig that gets a lot of the chaff you might need as much in the moment but you only get to play the one card for free. EDIT 31:22 This is actually BETTER than you think. If you swing with the singular Sphinx, you'll get 8 energy because there are going to be two sphinxes triggering for the lifegain. If you hit with both sphinxes, gaining a total of 8 life, you'll get 16 energy on hit. It scales insanely with each sphinx you get.
Ideas for ourside stuff to add: Reconnaissance (always get Satya's trigger without risking him) Swooping Pteradon has a great interaction with Satya thst allows you to steal and if you want to keep your opponents creatures (you can legend rules their commander out of the game). Downside is you will either need to add a lot of flying dinos to the deck OR find a way to give all your creatures shapeshifter so they count as dinos when they enter - tons of them already have flying maskwood Nexus from the Jund precon works well albeit not cheap at 4 mana. Granted I love dinos so I'm going ths route. The flavor of Swooping Pteradon is just so good and finding a way for it to become a central focus outside of Naya is exciting lol. If you want to try swooping Pteradon but don't want to commit to that many dinos there are quite a few 2 cost flying dinos that you can toss in for a cheap flyer but Bonehoard Dracosaur is a solid addifion to any deck that utilizes red (basically gets you a 3 card draw - 2 of those cards go away after your turn but having 3 chances to conrunue to hit land drops when most decks start to slow down, while also hetting more chances of pulling a big hitter to put into play now).
I took about 17 cards from the fallout deck and added some cards from this deck and my personal collection to make a fun little deck with Satya as the Commander. I call it Modern Science!
I did the Salvation Colossus + Brudiclad combo on my 3rd time playing the Creative Energy deck and we were shocked on how strong this precon is. Insane!
But... It does not work. Period. Satya is an attack trigger. Brudiclad is "At the beginning of combat on your turn," which is before attackers are declared. So Brudiclad is sort of a nonbo with Satya.
I feel like people keep either intentionally or unintentionally reading vault 112 card it’s not any it’s one out of those cards your exiling unless I’m not seeing a combo ther r
I was with you until the Lightning Runner misread. Still really cool. Lightning Runner plus Satya copying like a Behemoth from Vault 0 equals infinite combats, with an ever growing board of 6/6 tramplers.
It’s also a game-winning combo piece in Orvar with whim of volrath-style spells! Lets you dig for your other combo pieces and lets you with with thoracle!
@@surismtg I am curious as to how. I primarily want to make a more Fallout deck and feel like having either her or Liberty Prime as the commander goes a long way towards that. But while still being as energy dependant as possible
I basically did this with Madison Li as commander (plus a few cards from neither precon), and she functions as an energy generator that sometimes gives you access to things like card draw and recursion. Because of this, I wanted as many cards in the deck as possible to be artifacts to consistently trigger her (current list is 54 artifacts, including artifact lands). Satya being able to copy any creature gives more incentive to include non-artifact energy producing creatures so you don’t need to rely as strongly on artifact synergies
