🏠 We got a new apartment! After a brief housing search following our relocation from Reims in the Grand Est to Palaiseau in Greater Paris, we found our next home. Come along with us as we pack up our things, clean out the Airbnb, eat some food from a French bakery, stop by a French pharmacy, have a celebratory dinner of French tacos, and move all of our things into our place! If you’ve been following for a while, we think you’ll want to see how this apartment compares to our previous student apartment in Reims. Hi. It's nice to be able to live in a "home" "un chez soi" like you had back in Reims. Now you still have to provide your new address to your bank, employer, subscribe an insurance... Sometimes it's good to go to the townhall, "the mairie", to say hello and inform them that you just moved in their town as they may organise small parties to welcome new inhabitants (specially young couples)! They may also provide you with booklets about their services and benefits, public library, different activities and clubs, sports or gym subscription for almost free (may depend on your last year income tax) and more. Enjoy your new home.

Congrats! Wow, a year or so back, when I got the idea to the school thing I saw your videos, but didn't really keep track of the channel name.
But found you today when looking for something else (Nancy), so took a look through the channel. And MAN, you guys are REALLY living in France. Just all over the place and doing all kinds of stuff. So yeah congrats on the new place, but super congrats, on just, the full letting go of the standard issue American path on what a life can be. Nothing wrong with how we do it, it's just not the only thing out there.
