If it helps at all, the game creators said that at the end, during the cutscene you see the cat sniffing the air... it gets let out of the city only like 30 seconds away from its cat crew and can smell them, so yeah it's canon, they get reunited :)

I completed the game after watching the game plays, I cried for 3 days after I swear. And B12 is ok. He's still alive in the city's main computer. This game was amazing so far it has pushed God of War out from the number one slot on Steam. This game was kinda short but masterfully well done. It also has alot of sentimental vaule to the team who created it. The cat was modeled after the co-founders own orange tabby and B12 was named after the company Blue twelve, their logo is B12.
This is such an astonishing game Bee! Even though it's a cat game, the graphics are freaking awesome! And hello to Runebee to one of my favorite TH-camrs ever💯
Cats purr when they're in pain. Little Tater is purring when she's curled up with B12 at the end. Now I'm crying again. And yes, I called her Tater. Cute cats are always named after food. That's a rule.
