Great video! Nice seeing others out in the rain ha ha! Seems like that's all we do in the Pacific Northwest. That was some slick mud! The old buildings were cool. I always like finding/going to places like that.
Hahhahaha! Yes, I’ll be sure to drop him a note for ya. I’ll let him know you’d really like to borrow the ring of power for just a few days if he ever gets it back from those Hobbits! 😂
@@TrailNewbie oh wow. That area I’ve heard is a different beast. Same with funnel lake the weather can get wild. Love your snow camping video! Trying to get out in December and test out my diesel heater.🤩
@@jonnytacooutdoors ya, we did Funnel Lake in our trip to Coyote Flats. The trails are not off the charts, but definitely gotta have a solid rig. The trip into Funnel Lake is loooonnnng. Nice thing about Leavitt is the off road portion is only about an hour. So, something different for sure!
Great stuff! We planned on hitting some trails in that area earlier this summer, but had to skip past. Luckily it’s close enough we’ll have another shot at it. 🤙
Great question, I actually think it was August believe it or not. The weather was dreary for sure with the major rain storm. ⛈️ For Leavitt, I recommend at least July before trying to go up there. And the snow pack is big this year so I think it’s definitely a mid July at the earliest type of spot. 😊 Thank you for watching and for your comment! I really appreciate it! 😀
Yes, it should generally be ok. The only issue up there is that the trail does tend to change a bit each year, depending on the weather. The last time I went up in this video, I believe a stock F150 would definitely make it. I have seen a stock Silverado Z 71 make it.
Glad to see you back.
Thanks!!! Appreciate it - been super busy with work. Felt so good to get back out on the trail!
My precious…..lol.
I knew someone would love that!! 😂😂😂
Great video Greg! I thought it was closer to 1:00 am when you finally showed up??? Too much Pendleton's I think..... LOL
Hahahhaha - ya, I think we stayed up till 1:00…. 😂😂😂
That lake is calling my name 🥹
In a whisper…. Mark… mark… mark…. 😂
Great trip thanks
My pleasure! Thanks for watching and for the comment!! 😃😃🙌🏼👏🏼👊🏼
Pro tip... There are a couple other smaller lakes within hiking distance of the main one.
Great video, though I got a tad scared at the end.
Love it! Ya, wish we had time to hike up there. Next time.!!
Great video, thanks for sharing the adventure
Thanks Robert! Appreciate it!
More great content! Thanks for bringing this to us.

@@TrailNewbie I’ll come tag along one day🤙

Thanks so much! Hahhahaha, ya, it was early August but the weather up there is so unpredictable. Next day, warm and sunny. Next day, hail. 😂😂
Great drone shots!
Thanks! Appreciate it very much! 😃😃
Nice job Greg. Spoiler alert. You're still alive!
Hahahhahaha - so true. But, I could have almost died? 😂

Winter camping here in December would be pretty wild, love the videos!
Ya! It would be very difficult to get up there with any snowfall. It can be impassible all the way into June believe it or not!! 😳

When you say high clearance, are we talking Jeeps only or would a stock F150 with 4x4 be ok?

Man, you, @flyfisher530 and @trailbossmafia are motivating me to rejuvenating my sad attempt on youtube hah
