TRIPP'S TIP: The best bike cleaner/polish I've EVER used is now available on Amazon. Check out ORIGINAL BIKE SPIRITS CLEANER & POLISH at: amzn.to/3auTxHD (The channel may receive a small commission on some items purchased)
Most people will go with SE to keep their warranty. When you buy 5 or 6 years warranty, you need to use SE and all HD approved parts otherwise you will have hard time to claim it if something happened related to the bike performance. I went with SE for only this reason because I bought expensive warranty I need to keep it
Those are 2020 not 2019. And I really hope you saying those have Milwaukee 8 engines was sarcasm as they are equipped with evo engines that Harley introduced back in the 80s lol
I knew they were Evos when I shot the video, I just had a brief moment if retardation when I was speaking. Funny thing is I shot three takes and got it right in the two I didn’t use. 🙂
I too was a invisible. Then I scored this 2005 Honda Civic. We're talking cherry. Sawed off the exhaust. Now I'm cruising the hood in this insanely loud supercar - brutal. The ladies are taking notice. sick
I just put Shark Road slip-ons on my Iron 883 - coupled with a new Figure Machine air filter it's given me an ultimate hp upgrade!!! Sounds killer, too...
Funny, I liked the stock ones better... musically speaking, they sound more balanced, leveled out. The Screaming Eagle sounds like you cranked the bass on your stereo and the speakers can't keep up and end up distorting. That's what my musicians ear told me, anyway...
Liked, Subscribed, and Notified! Thanks for the contest and also thanks for making this video! Just picked up a 2017 Lowrider and I'm trying to get a baseline difference between Stock and Slip Ons
@user-pk7sc9wj2x also I've learned to keep the engineering and all that r&d intact. Also I like keeping the peace with neighbors. I love Harleys and how different guys set them up. To each his own.
Chepo_LSX No idea Chepo. Was just worried about the sound. Call Nigel at the number listed below, he will be able to tell you. Thanks for your question, hope you subscribe. -Tripp
Honestly I think it was the stick seat that came with the bike although I can look under the seat tomorrow and post it here if there is any info under the seat. Thanks for your question Matteo, hope you subscribe. -Tripp
I have the Rinehart ones and let me tell you they are way too loud. These seem to be a tad quieter thus a little more comfortable to the ear in long rides, but still keeping that good ol Harley sound!
Ha yes! I totally misspoke while trying to concentrate on making the video. I even own a Sporty! Thanks for your comment Noru, I hope you subscribe. -Tripp
Like nr 333 :D Late to this vid haha December 31 2020 Happy new year 🎉 🍻 Haha, was looking into this Iron 883 there is for sale and it has this Screaming Eagle exhaust on Was wondering how that would sound hmm Well should go check the bike and see for myself, ain't too far away from me Thinking bout maybe getting that as my new bike if the VN 800 won't be available anymore next year :)
The factory exhaust is horrible doesn’t even sound like a Harley off of idle even slip ons don’t help the Vance and Hines short shots sounds 100 times better dont waste time and money with slip ons you won’t be happy

I've had a lot of bikes, some with loud exhaust. I'm starting to really appreciate the more mellow sounding exhaust without a whole lot of volume.
The Iron 1200 still has the Evolution Engine, FYI. Great comparison video. Thanks, Tripp!
Thanks TOG! My bad on the M8.

Pics or it never happened. 🙂
The 2022 Sportster was the last year of Evo engines. I was lucky enough to buy a brand new 2022 and I'm planning on keeping it forever.
Congratulations!
I just put Shark Road slip-ons on my Iron 883 - coupled with a new Figure Machine air filter it's given me an ultimate hp upgrade!!! Sounds killer, too...
Good deal! Ride safe.
Thanks for the comparison...but, the engines are Evolution not Milwaukee 8.
Brady Linkous My bad. Could have sworn they had an M8 starting last year! Thanks for your comment. Hope you’ll subscribe anyway Brady! -Tripp :)

Agreed

The look and sound great, big upgrade from factory!
Latino Rider They do sound much better. I think they are almost $500 with tax.
I do like the screamin eagle ones better. Looks like you would need to re-tune the bike for them. Heard a lot of deceleration pop.
1200cc Milwaukee 8 ? What ?
I know! Pretty cool huh. Definitely a collector’s item.
Those are 2020's & EVO engines!
I had to rewind and make sure was a sporty lol
And 2021 are still evo
My 22 is still Evo, 2022 was the last year.
Sounds the same. Glad I went with Vance & Hines slip one.
I prefer the V&H as well. Thanks for your comment Ruben, hope you subscribe. -Tripp
Ruben Salinas how much is the Hines slip ? Link ??
Chepo_LSX about 400 at revzilla
Ruben Salinas how is it ? Loud enough for
Cars to
Hear you ??
Ruben Salinas got video ?
I liked the screaming eagle slip on. How does it sound with vfc an 883 iron
I wish I knew, but thanks for your question Ramona!
May i know which luggage rack is that ? Is it original HD or an aftermarket one.
What brands do Harley Sell for Exhaust?
Are you sure there not the new 2022 Shovel Flat Head model ? Or maybe the new Gimme Head with the "super sucker" carb intake?
Yes, I totally misspoke. Knew what they were and just didn't catch it. Hey, such is life. :)
On my 08 I kept the oem exhaust. His sounds nice but not a huge difference.
Was thinking about upgrading mine, but you’re right not a huge difference

Is it quiet compare to v&h ? I’m looking for deeep sound with no loud noises. I have v&h and it’s way loud
Did you end up ever finding a good alternative? I’m in the same boat. The V&H sound great, but they’re too loud for me.
Anyone knows the DB sound level of the V&H slip on?for that HD model...
ilias topalidis I sure don’t ilias. Sorry to get back to you so late. Thanks for your question. Hope you subscribe! -Tripp
What’s the price ??
Chepo_LSX No idea Chepo. Was just worried about the sound. Call Nigel at the number listed below, he will be able to tell you. Thanks for your question, hope you subscribe. -Tripp
Can you tell me the model name of seat mounted on the bike with the SE ? I mean the 2up version.
Honestly I think it was the stick seat that came with the bike although I can look under the seat tomorrow and post it here if there is any info under the seat. Thanks for your question Matteo, hope you subscribe. -Tripp
Thank you! GOD bless!!!
You’re very welcome Charles!
Rineheart slip ons would be better than SE & about the same price.
I have the Rinehart ones and let me tell you they are way too loud. These seem to be a tad quieter thus a little more comfortable to the ear in long rides, but still keeping that good ol Harley sound!
Thanks for the video! 👍🍺
You’re very welcome Eric! Hope you’ll subscribe. -Tripp
You are right
Those se sound badass
I want to buy
Do it!
There not Milwaukee motors lol sporsters have the same engines they have had for years .
Those are not Milwaukee 8 engines
Yeah, my bad. I just misspoke making the video. I knew better, but what can ya do? 🙂
Better to remain silent and have people suspect you are a loser than to ride around with a loud exhaust removing all doubt.
Eh I'd rather be tough and "dumb" with my loud pipes than to be an intellectual with no character
I don’t even have to looks at any comments, I’m sure they beat the shit out of you for calling them 1200 Milwaukee 8s.
Ha yes! I totally misspoke while trying to concentrate on making the video. I even own a Sporty! Thanks for your comment Noru, I hope you subscribe. -Tripp
Not Milwaukee 8
That's my dealership! Ha. San Antonio
As in you shop there or own the thing? Thanks for your comment jet, I hope you subscribe! -Tripp

Dude i would have been lettin them 1200s breath i mean they sound good but theyd sound better if you redlined them bad boys
Unfortunately they weren’t my bikes. 🙂. Thanks for your comment Tommy. Hope you subscribe. -Tripp
Both sound way too quiet and restricted
The factory exhaust is horrible doesn’t even sound like a Harley off of idle even slip ons don’t help the Vance and Hines short shots sounds 100 times better dont waste time and money with slip ons you won’t be happy
You're probably right IronMoto, I'll remember that. I may upgrade my Fat Bob eventually. Thanks for your comment, I hope you subscribe. -Tripp
Vans and Hines for iron 1200 is thousand of times better
