Yep…. this is the video I needed. Perfect comparison between stock and aftermarket. I just ordered a pair of the RPTs and now I can’t wait to install and ride! You and I have the same 2018 48 special! Great vid man!
I recently placed an order for a new pair of slip-ons. I have been using an inexpensive pair of Amazon slip-ons for quite some time, but unfortunately, they began to deteriorate after approximately 16 months of use. While the current pair is quite loud, I am concerned that the Cobra Neighbor Hater slip-ons may not be as noisy. Could anyone please provide me with the decibel levels of these?
Nice I just went from a 97 sporty to an 08 nightster and it’s so quiet w stock pipes.. when you got these and they nstalled them did you have to adjust anything else? I’ve been told that if you change anything like pipes or air filter that the bike needs to be tuned differently and idk how
@@marosjurina1996 I've removed the Cobra stock baffle and put new fiberglass in two layers. Unfortunately it didn't change much. Perhaps it killed 5 dB max, but it's not very noticeable
@@sevaskrypa Hi, many thanks for info. I was chossing between them and V&H Whin slash - based on this info It looks like I will choose V&H + Quiet or Super quiet baffles. Thx
I wanted to get a SE, but it's difficult to buy in the EU. Also I heard that SE sounds good on Cruiser and Touring bikes, but apparently it's too quiet on Sportsters

Best video I’ve seen for comparing stock to after market slip ons.
Awesome video. That additional chrome really sets off the looks of that Forty-Eight!
I'm glad you liked the video. I'm so happy I have chosen the chrome and not the black mufflers
This is the video that convinced me to buy the Cobras
Go get it! You won’t regret 🍻
@ I did this summer and absolutely love it. Added a short on my TH-cam page.
Thanks for the video, great sound comparison.
This is how you do a comparison video 👏
Thanks Charlie!
Great video. Thank you for the awesome comparison.

Sorry mate, I can’t go in that much details. The ones I had on this bike were not too noisy. I’d say just enough. Good luck with your choice!
Clean comparison 🤙
SOLD.....Thanks for the video brother
Enjoy the new sound and look, brother

Comparison I can relate to.....Iron w/stock, there is a definite note change, but the volume increase didn't seem to be much.....is that how it is?
the volume increase is quite massive
@@sevaskrypa afraid so, video deceiving
Muchas gracias por tu video, me ayudaron a decidir! Me comprado estos escapes para mi Roadster. Saludos desde España! 🤘🏻😎
They sound great 👍🏻
Can anybody recommend not too loud exhaust for sportster 1200 2018 ? Thx

Sehr gute Performance Gruß Tom
Hi! What ape do you use for sportster in portugal film?
if it's the one where I was riding on a foggy day, it was an HD 10" Tallboy
Good sound!! is the Cobra with DB killer?
It looks like there's no fiberglass around the buffer. They sound loud and I'm gonna try to kill some DB. Will update when it's done

Hi, do you need to put in some gaskets with these slipons? Thanks.
you do, here's link www.arhcustom.co.uk/product/doss-gaskets-for-2017-2020-sportster-softail-dyna-models-using-aftermarket-slip-ons-pair-65900017
@@sevaskrypa Thanks Seva!
Super sound the cobra
Great sound did you felt any increase in performance
Actually I didn't feel any performance increase. The sound is deep and rumble. It sounds great in the video, but it's a little too loud for me.
did you manage to get it quieter?? I don't want it to be too loud... Thank you
I did not and keep riding as it is. It's being annoying on a long ride
@@sevaskrypa thanks for the response. I guess a quiet baffle is no difference also. I’ m hesitating between cobra and screaming eagle ..

Good luck with your choice. In case you get a SE, please let me know how it sounds
