Wow! I love going places and experiencing new things of others culture, food, hobbies, etc. I am sure you had an incredible time. I had an exchange student from there for the 95/96 school year. She's coming to visit me in a few weeks. I'd love to go to a reptile show with her. If anyone knows anything near Columbus, Ga. please let me know!
I didnt even know you could keep BPs in Japan. The Gacha were awwsome, and all those other animals... I figured the laws were totally restrictive, and were so from some of the stuff i had looked into in the past. I love Japan, Korea, SE Asia, and have a bit of a religious connection to east asia in general so always have been curious, so cool to see reptile keeping alive in Japan! The fact its an island and the very strict government always seemed to cause an impass. Glad I was wrong.
They literally have cafes where you visit up close any animal you can imagine. Went to a hedgehog cafe but spent most of the time watching the meerkat and prairie dogs running around. The owl cafes are even more awesome. @petsone_niza
@@boaffliction yeah I had seen those, I just figured they had to jump through tons of hoops or something, maybe being a business or being considered a zoo/on display it was easier? Idk I follow other things and people in Japan and with all the paperwork and regulations I figured it was pretty locked down (plus I think I had heard it was regarding maybe a particular area or something at some point)
Hi. When was this show? My son wants a BP and we went to the show in Odaiba in Oct 2023. We know a couple of the booth operators. Do not remember Kinova from that show...
How can I get a shirt of the snake @2:00 ???? I’m interested in ordering one as I am into the hobby as wel and would love one please get back to me. Thanks in advance
Subarashi Nihon! Lot of love esp. as a reptile lover and lover of many animals (my birds and horses are tops than hebi(snakes) *.* And here I thought that dogs and cats where the top issues-I'm sick of the over-grossed furry animal love and over here of course. Too many amazing and natural animal species in the world, so where's the adventure and different?? Here in the South-Ga, snakes are only loved with those wanting to shoot them from out of their backyard. The so-called Norm but also that's why they have an infestation of rats, mice and the diseases they care-nothing against rodents (they are adorable lol) I truly didn't realize heibi hobbyist where so prominent in Japan plus as a con, they are not so vast and diverse when it comes to an interest in animals as it is here in the west just as having protection organizations and laws protecting both wild, domestic and animals that are livestock. Having humane laws is very significant and important. It's just the impression I'm always given when it comes to any references of animals in their country is questioning at times given the variables. Oh, best artist uses their HANDS to create their art like a mangaka! Nothing digit and love that they are going to look slightly different every time! Nothing mass produced! True art!

@@repkeeper3267 shhhhhhhh
@@repkeeper3267 that's awesome! I'm glad to hear that. My ignorance led me to believe it'd only be easy for native or specific species.

Crazy how the prices are different in the USA then them
Different currency! That's all in Yen, not USD. :)
You just divide it by 100 and you get approximately the price in USD.
albino Knob-tailed gecko
Why are those snakes so expensive?
They are rare!
Looks like the bug wings are on the wrong side. Most wings sweep back not forward. Get video
Thanks for the tip!
It seems so empty?
A sloth? That aint right
too short video ...
Customers are buying to eat these snakes?
No, for pets.
@@KINOVAReptiles sounds good then

Is that a scare across your neck?
Yes, he had surgery

did not show much of other vendors. just showed his sponsors.
We tried our best! Hard to experience the show and film at the same time.
Wow, NA shows are LACKING in a lot of ways compared to Japans...
Pythons shouldn’t be kept as pets, there’s no way of giving them a proper home
It seems so empty?
