Fantastic - grounded in science based advise! I've lost 59 lbs. in the last 4 months - working out 3 days per week and in 250 per day calorie deficit. Thanks for the great advice!!!!
59 lbs ~ 26,800 grams This means you have lost 223 grams per day over four months on average. 223 grams of body fat ~ 2000 kCal. So, you have created a 2000 caloric deficit per day?!!
The science based community often does not present the data like you say they do. They often provide the nuance and context like you did that yes, a calorie deficit will result in better blood markers but they dont then just say its all about the calories. They will for sure point out the facts about how that deficit might make you feel and effect your performance and everyday life.
I love your show! Love the way you guys explain how critical is to build and keep muscle mass and the advise ypu give to achieve it. I am in pretty good shape for my age (68 young) BUT... I noticed I am losing muscle and getting a belly I never had before, despite I have a very active life style. My intention is to recompose my body, losing 5 Lbs of fat and substitute the weight with lean mass or even gain more weight in muscle. I started free weights and resistance bands at home about two months ago, increased my daily protein intake and I can feel the difference already. Thanks so much!
May 1st thru Sept 30 - I fast from night before until 10:00 am the next day. I also do cardio 3x times per week I try to maintain 140 bps zone for 25 -40minutes and go for a 30-45 minute walk every night. I do upper body 45-60 minutes 2x per week and do lower body 2x per week. Cut out all fast food and Friday cheat days. Started at 358 lbs - I now weigh 303 lbs. I drink 3 protein shakes per day - have a lite lunch and usually rice with tuna or chicken or beef ever night with spinach or broccoli. I don’t try to deviate from that since it’s worked up to this point.
Yep They've been mashing up old episodes together for almost the last month now. In addition to omitting the timestamps, this is the next move they are sticking with.
11:23 The guy says "sedAtary" about 5 times. He doesn't even understand the word sedentary, and how it's spelled and pronounced. Yet, he talks like he's an expert on what it means to be sedentary. That's hilarious.

What did you do on the 3 workout days?
250 calories a day doesn't give you 59 lbs deficit in 4 months. More like 750-1000.
@@serban2139 you do realise calories listed on packaging can vary in accuracy up to 40% either way. Calorie counting is an estimate at best.
@@Zx6rBlue have you tried accurately counting calories from those inaccurate food labels and not lose weight?

Keep going! You're doing great!
That cardio though.. be careful for over training . It is easy to feel and see results grinding away at first .. then you hit hard plateau.
What's up with this old re uploaded content?
