Hello Ahnestly, i'm interested in this chair and I was wondering what aftermarket head rest you recommend for this chair that would fit comfortably. Thanks for the video review!
I've had this chair for a couple of days and overall, it's not bad. The seat cushion is very firm. I replaced a Serta Smart Layers chair with this one and compared to the Serta, it feels very stiff, but the padding in the Serta was failing and it feels mushy by comparison so that's not surprising. After sitting in it all day, I don't have any back or shoulder pain but that is more from the adjustable arm height than the lumbar support, which feels a little harsh. Not bad, but I am aware of the edges on it. Overall the chair seems well built and I only have a couple of real negatives to note, both having to do with the arms. As others have stated, there is some play in the arm rests. I have tightened the screws down as far as they will go and I can still wiggle the arms forward and backwards maybe 3/8" each way. I think this contributes a lot to the perception that it is poorly constructed, but the rest of the chair is very tight fitting and sturdy. The other thing is the arm pads. First, they are much harder foam than I would have hoped. They do have some give, but it is very slight. They are made to adjust forward and back, which is good, but there isn't any mechanism to lock them in place other than a tension ball which keeps them in the selected position. The problem is that if I bump them or use the arm rests to push up when getting out of the chair, they slide in their channels and change position. So I am constantly having to reposition them to where I want them. Annoying but not terribly so. What I do like is all of the available adjustments to get it dialed in to just the configuration I want. The arms adjust in and out as well as up and down. The seat depth can be adjusted to accommodate a wide range of heights and of course the overall height adjusts via the gas spring. I also like that I can adjust the recline tension high enough to hold it in place for normal sitting but still give for leaning back and stretching as well as lock it into one of several positions if I want to. Given the pros and cons, if you like a firm seat cushion and good lumbar support isn't a deal breaker for you, I think this is a decent all-day chair for the price, especially if you get it on sale.
I’ve been needing a good affordable work chair and Branch was that I was leaning towards. Thank you for this in-depth review, I bought the ergonomic chair. My back thanks you as well
My wife recently bought me this chair (w/headrest). I'm the same height as you and I agree completely with everything you said except for the part about the headrest. Like you said, you can't adjust the tilt tension of the recliner and this is where the headrest comes in (EDIT: I just read your correction, I didn't know it could be adjusted either lol!). You don't have to strain your neck and shoulder muscles by trying to stay in a preferred reclined position, the headrest supporting your head helps you balance and find a sweet spot. I often recline back and zone out a little bit to relax my vision and shoulders and I don't think this level of comfort would be possible without the headrest helping by keeping your head's weight from moving back. I think it's very well-designed for this chair, and it adds to its comfort; I honestly wouldn't want this chair without it.
@@yenjun0204 After having it for a few months now, this is my honest opinion: the headrest adds a “recliner” functionality to this chair that you simply don’t have without it. In the months since I wrote my original comment, I’ve adjusted the tension of the recliner slightly so that it supports my weight a bit better, and then I can just lean back, move the arm rests all the way back and close my eyes. This has lead to me dozing off for a few minutes in the chair (all while properly supporting my lower back). I take advantage of this at least a couple of times a week, and I maintain that I wouldn’t want this chair without it. So, if you think you could use some rest/quick nap breaks while in the middle of your work, I highly recommend! 👍
Thanks for reviewing this! It reminds me of the Fern design but without the annoying moving arms (no lock feature) and at a lower price point. We really need a good headrest though.
I didn't know I could lock the recline in place until I watched this. Also, he's not kidding about the insane amount of force it takes to lock/unlock the armrest width.
If your arm rest adjustments are very tight, you probably have the arms switched. If you take them off and swap right to left (so the button on the bottom of the arm rest faced forward), it will be much easier.
Been looking for a different chair as my current Steelcase chair feels pretty good but the seat feels too thin and hard. This chair looks great and that nice big padded seat cushion looks really great, can't wait to try out this new chair!
@@BeeraltarI did and it was pretty nice but I didn’t fully like it. I think out of that and the Soji I would def go with the Soji. But I ultimately decided to order the Steelcase Amia refurbished from btod. Chair looks like it basically new and they add some additional cushioning on the seat as part of their refurbishing.
Any chance you can review the Novo WFH chair from SitOnIt as a comparison? A lot of Fortune 500 companies seem to use them for furniture. My wife uses the Amplify with all the options and loves it. It's way higher in price though. The Novo WFH is very reasonable in price similar to this.
Hi Dan 👋, Branch has launched a new chair called "Ergonomic Chair Pro", do you plan to check it out? It looks interesting. By the way, what do you think would be better: this Branch Ergonomic Chair or the Herman Miller Verus? Greetings from Colombia
I have a questions about the headrest. How tall is it when it been installed to the chair ? Like can it reach to my head or just my neck ? I’m 5ft8(1.7m)
Your arms are so hard to adjust (and so far back) because you have them on backwards. I had the same issue before I realized what was going on. Remove the arms and swap them with the adjustment button on the bottom of the armrest facing the front of the chair.
I came to your video to see if you had an example on how to use the Seat Tilt Tension , its in the instructions it has a kind of a Center Round Dial below seat in the middle but I cant make it work 😅 I might need to get help but FYI it does have one.
Hello Dan, and thank you for your review. I just bought the Branch Ergonomic chair using your link. Looking forward for the chair and I will leave some notes on my experience once I get it. Thank you !
It does have a way to change reclining tension! it's a knob on the bottom center of the chair! And wirecutter says the armrests are wobbly... not if they're locked in properly!!
Thanks for pointing that out, just ordered this chair and was concerned about the tilt tension. Found an assembly video from Branch and its actually a nice looking hidden knob on the botton of the mechanism, video for reference: th-cam.com/video/WCFV0oEj--E/w-d-xo.html
If any fellow Aussies are looking into this chair and are wondering where to get it... it is available through a Sydney based company called Recess, rebranded as 'Ergo Pro' ☺
Hello, thanks for the many excellent reviews, they are detailed and your voice is easy to listen to at a clear pace. I will be buying a chair for my computer desk this week and had settled on 2 options through your videos but this one may make me reconsider as I had not heard of the branch and it seems to have value for money. As Herman Miller is having a 20% off sale currently and I like that they are preassembled: Sayl Mirra 2 Possibly: Branch Ergonomic Or maybe their Verve. I am 5'9 185lbs fit but with a bit of a bad lower back( so slouching is avoided). As I am semi-retired( lucky I know) I will be mostly gaming a few hours a day and watching youtube with the odd few hours of office-type tasks weekly but I do not recline so no need for that locked lazy boy feel. I can certainly stretch to 1000 USD for a chair but if I can get 85% of the function for half the price that would be great as the comfortable middle class is not quite rich lol. Given that which do you think would be a better fit in a few words or less so as not to waste your time? Up to this video, I was leaning heavily toward Sayl. I am Canadian so I am not sure if you have a separate affiliate link for us or if the American one works and I simply change region but I have no issue using one for you if it does not affect the price by much. Thanks for the videos even if too busy to respond.
Hey! Appreciate the kind words and semi-retired! Lucky!! I would say if you can drop more, drop more and get the proven 12 year warranty! Just to show you how serious I am, I make 0 money from Canadian HM affiliate links! I think the Sayl or Mirra 2 would be a great option - the Sayl is going to be a bit more comfortable due to the cushion seat, but the Mirra 2 will offer more breathability! Hope this helps!
@Ahnestly interested to hear your initial thoughts on the ergonomic pro they are releasing? Its up for pre-order right now with free headrest so I know it's early but just curious.
Hey! It's not on my TDL...I keep it ahnest with you guys always, so the issue with the Celle is I have 0 way to monetize it. Not that it's all about money here (in an upcoming video, I say don't buy this expensive chair no matter how much hype is behind it...and I'm an affiliate, which means I'll miss out on potential revenue!), but I do have to be wiser about the business decisions I make!
I have tight hamstrings from sitting long hours at a desk all day everyday, can you tell me which seat feels softer to you, similar to a memory-foam type softness? The ergonomic chair or their task chair? How would you describe the ergonomic chair cushion's softness level? Thank you! Appreciate the insight.
Thanks for the video! I can't decide between this chair and the Colamy Atlas... the lumbar support and armrests seem better on the Branch, but I don't know about the headrest. The Branch can have one, and it's something very important to me to have a good headrest. If anyone's going through this, what's your opinion on it?
I personally would go with the soji. You get your extra moneys worth - Cushion will last longer, 12 year warranty, free returns! If you decide to pick up, please consider using my link! Helps the channel a lot!
Soji. Hands down. 12 year warranty and better seat cushion. Either Soji or the Clatina Mellet (I think Soji has the superior warranty and cushion, but clatina offers a LOT for the money).
Interesting, I like the look... Think I sat in one in a store, if memory serves, seemed decent. Separately, have you made any videos about selling chairs? I bought a HM Sayl a bit ago, and after like 5 months or so, my lower back started having a lot of pain... Turns out the chair just doesn't work for me. I bought directly from them and so have the full warranty that I could hopefully transfer to someone else... I just have no idea how to go about selling it. If there's a video you already made, a link would be appreciated. If not, could you give any recommendations? Thanks!
Hey, I kind of did, but it's more on what price can you expect to pay for various used chairs. The warranty is a gray area - not transferrable, but you can come up with ways to explain how you are the original owner of the chair, but don't have the info for the warranty! th-cam.com/video/HuGwz1kuC6Q/w-d-xo.html
I suffer from bad lower back pain. Which do you suggest? Branch Daily chair or Ergonomic? I am a teacher and pull out for small groups so I sit a lot. Thanks!
Hi! I haven't tested the Daily, but the Ergonomic feels pretty good considering its price point! If you're concerned about warranty, check out my reviews of various Steelcase chairs and buy one used from a company called Crandall Office. It's a little more money, but the seat padding will blow away the Branch's seat cushion, and it has a 12 year warranty and an excellent reputable company! Here's my review of the Steelcase Amia, and links to Crandall Office + my coupon codes are in the description! th-cam.com/video/rrhbt6Ps0Bo/w-d-xo.html
I have a chair from branch and really feel like the seat and arm rests are hard. What in the best ergonomic chair with softer cushion on seat and armrest?
Soft armrests can be solved by buying an aftermarket pad on Amazon...I say this because most armrest pads are hard sadly. Most seat cushions in this price range will be firmer because a soft one will flatten out quite a bit in no time at all. Check out my videos on used Steelcase chairs - the Amia is my go to for a nicer seat cushion and a used Steelcase Amia from Crandall Office is around $400-600. Hope this helps and please consider using my links if you decide to pick up! Helps the channel a LOT!
I'm 5'2 and 180lbs or so, would you say this chair would be okay? Its one of the few more easily accessible and seemingly good chairs I can get in Canada and not totally break the bank for a good chair.
No, unfortunately I don't :-( Not sure how long they've been around, but they blew up on the social media scene during the pandemic I believe, so not sure if anyone's even had 7 years with their chair! Would love to hear what you end up deciding on, and please consider using my link if you decide to pick up!
@@phyxion123 btodtv has a review on the odinlake pro. I was also considering that chair. This guy in the comments bought it and had some good feed back in what he thought check it out. I’m now also considering a chair from Unline. The have an ergo chair and 24/7 chair that look comfy.
I think you would be best avoiding this one for that weight! It's nice, but I can feel it flattening over time. My recommendation would be to go with a remanufactured Leap v2 or Amia with the thicker seat cushion option from Crandall Office! Hope this helps and if you decide to pick up, please consider using my links! Helps the channel a LOT!
After owning it for 3 months, I think it's a nice chair in term of the quality, but the lumbar support is way too hard compared to other brands. For skinny dude like me, the lumbar is almost pushing against my bone and causes soreness after few hours of sitting. If you want to try it, make sure you make an decision within a month so you don't end up with a chair that doesn't fit you.
100% true. I just got this chair too and noticed the lumbar support is digging into my lower back, it's very stiff. Luckily, it can be unscrewed with a hex key and removing has made the chair much better. For the money, it's an excellent value. In the white and blue combo, it's one of the nicest looking chairs from the entire market; Branch did an excellent job with the deisgn, really competes with chairs for $1,000 or more. Probably the best bang for the buck chair, only thing else that comes close it the Autonomous chair.
If you can afford it, I love the steelcase Amia over all of these! Check out my video on it! And please consider using my link! Helps the channel a lot!
I'm trying to decide between this chair and HM Vantum after watching a few reviews I just don't feel confident paying $800 for Vantum maybe one day I will save up for Embody but in the mean time do you think this chair is good pick over the Vantum?
This is a really good question. I do find this chair more comfortable than the vantum, and it has a pretty decent warranty. Def the way to go if you know you’ll get an embody in the future!
Hi ahnestly thanks for this content so im in the hunt for a chair i used to have a secret lab omega but its not good anymore i want to replace it im 33 now and i dont game as much anymore i just want to be as comfortable as possible do you think i should get this or get the new titan evo regular for comfort? Thank you pls tell me why too.
My recommendations for most comfortable are (in ascending price order) steelcase Amia, haworth fern, or Herman miller embody with headrest! I’ve got videos for all of those - check it out and if you decide to pick up, please consider using my link! Helps the channel a lot!
@@Ahnestly what makes the amia way comfortable than the rest? I was hoping not to spend more than 500 for a chair that has a headrest hoping this branch would be the answer? Cause i need to split my budget of getting a nice oled tv and a chair thats comfortable but not close to a 1,000 its better spent on a nice tv.
@@renzcaballero2706 check out my Amia video and you’ll see a link to Crandall office with coupon codes for used Steelcase chairs, Including the Amia. The Amia padding is just SO good. What should I get as a 6’4 260lb man I was looking at a refurbished lean v2 for 450 shipped I wish I could get a crandal one but it cost more then I have :c
My review on this chair, after 3 years of use. Full disclosure: This is MY experience and it can be different for other people. Back in 2021 I got a budget from my company for home office office stuff during the pandemic. After sat on an Ikea Markus for 5 years, which was an ok chair, but had a big flaw for me. I sit on my legs 90% of the time so my tigh near the knee was always rubbing on the metal arms, to the point of getting a callus on the spot. For reference, I'm 5.9", 200 pounds, not (too) big and not tall. So I started looking for a chair on the $400-500 with larger seat. The Ergonomic checked all the boxes: Better construction, large seat width, sliding depth, tilt lock, non intrusive arms. When I finished the assembly I got my first issue, the lumbar support is too hard (same material as the armrest) and positioned way too forward, with no fwd-aft adjustment. It probably works for someone who likes lumbar support, but in my case the 10% of the time I'm no sitting on one of my legs, my legs are extended with my butt at the end of the seat. Don't judge me! Adding the mesh to the equation and the support felt like sandpaper, to the point of feeling my back burning at the shower from the abrasion. They had a 30 day return policy, but I had to pay the shipping, which for me it was almost half of the chair's price. So I had no choice but keeping it. I saw a video where a guy also had issues with the lumbar support and removed it. So I removed it, but if you see the chair, the support base points forward, so it started poking my back. Yeah... My solution was putting a flexible plastic chopping board between the support ans the mesh. So THIS problem was solved. When I installed the arms and the headrest i felt them a little flimsy. And not surprisingly after a month they were completely loose. The headrest was thghtened to the chair but bounced from one side to the other. The arm was firmly connected to the chair (thanks to the locking tab) but the upper pard was completely loose. Six months later the mesh started to slip off the chair on the left side. Firstly once a week but it got worse and worse to the point I had to put it back 4 to 5 times a day. I solved it by sticking a piece of hockey tape inside the slit to grab the mesh and it never slipped again. I wouldn't blame this one 100% on Branch, as it was slipping at the lumbar support curve, and since there's no lumbar support, the mesh is holding my back by itself. Lately the right side started to slip. Today I'm reinserting in around twice a day, but since I'm buying another one, I wouldn't bother fixing it Next issue was on mid 2023, when the seat fabric started to get rough on seat's right side, where my left foot rests. A month later the fabric gave up and I have a whole the size of a DVD. I don't wear shoes at home. I'm always either barefoot, or in socks. Last month the left side also started to get rough. Last issue, and the one that made me give up was the seat itself. In Jan 2024 I started hearing a clanking noise while moving on the chair. At first I thought it could be a loose screw (Business as usual on my Markus. I had an allen wrench on my desk for the monthly thightening) but everything was tight. A couple of weeks later the front-right side of the chair droped by around one inch. I couldn't find a way to open the underside cover to see if there could be anything fixable. But for some unknown reason it went back to the correct position when moving while seated. It repeated a couple of times until March 2024, when it dropped and this time it never came back to the correct position. For this reason I started developping an acute back pain after sit on the chair for more than 30 minutes. The pain is so strong that I can't barely move for 1 to 2 hours. The first time I thought I had screwed up a vertebrae, but the pain goes away after a while. Im far from being an ergonomically conscient dude, but I sit like that for more than 40 years. Nowadays I spend 8-10h a day in the office seated on a Knoll ReGeneration, performing worse contortionisms (the seat is too short both on width and depth) and by the end of the day my back feel as if nothing happened. But 30 minutes seated on the Branch chair and the back pain flare arrives. My workaround while I don't find another chair is to sit at the border, as if it's a stool. The REAL workaround is that this position is so unbearable that it makes me stand up every 10 minutes or so. My Markus is still being used by my son, who has the same wheight/ height as me, and aside from the faux leather cracks here and there, is till 100% functional. My conclusion is: Do not buy it, unless you love a big, poking lumbar support and don't have plans to use it for more than a couple of minutes a day
@@misterdaniels6866I like the balance for its breathability but the cushioning on the gaming is just so much nicer. Hope this helps and again, please consider using my links if you decide to pick up!
Hey! So I recommend as the best chair under $600 to be a remanufactured steelcase Amia from Crandall Office. My review of the Amia: th-cam.com/video/rrhbt6Ps0Bo/w-d-xo.html
I have had one of these chairs for a couple of years and must give it a big thumbs down. I don't like the adjustment controls, there are too many; and after a fashion, I finally got the chair adjusted, sort of. It's simply not comfortable after a couple of hours. The seat platform does not seem level and I feel like I am falling off the front of the seat. If I had to do it again, I would choose another chair.
@@CrankingAllDay did you ask for a replacement what was the issue i was going to replace my old secret lab omega with this im not into the gaming stuff anymore im into comfort and minimalist i was wondering if this is good enough for the price like its value proposition. Hey there! I've seen the review on the verve chair too and I love how it looks and that is adjustable but there's a big difference in price with this one. I'm 5'2'', do you think this would be too big for me considering that you can't adjust the seat position? Do you have in mind any other chair that would work for a petite human being? Thanks!
Hi! No I don’t think it’ll be too big, but being 5’2, I highly recommend you use a footrest if you sit “normally”. I have a video on that as well in case you’re interested! Between Branch Ergonomic and Workpro Quantum 9000, which one do you recommend for long office hours? Is the later one more closer to the comfortable/support of Aeron?
If you’re ok with used, getting a used aeron by yourself, or getting a used Steelcase Amia from Crandall Office. New? That’s a tough one. The Haworth soji is great for the price (under $500 now bc of a sale). Check out my review for it!
@@Ahnestly Thanks. I forgot to mention for back pain. Would you recommend the same? Thanks again. I saw your review on the Nouhaus Ergo3D. Would you still recommend or think those you mentioned are better?
i have this chair and it kinda sucks. especially for the price. i had to get a seat cushion because the stock seat cushion didn't hold up to my weight. and i'm like 200 lbs. the back lumbar support is not comfortable at all. one of the most disappointing chairs i have bought.
I disagree. I bought this chair and it's heartbreakingly bad. Maybe it's cuz I'm over 6ft, but the chair feels cheap compared to some of the $99 options I tried at my local Costco. The arm rests just move around, the headrest same thing, any time I go to reach for it, easily comes out of place. Cushion is stiff, the tension of the recliner is just.. bad, the fact that I have to get out of the chair to make any changes is terrible. It's a marketing gimmick, don't buy this chair.
Sorry to hear you don't like it! I always retest my chairs, and I personally still find the chair very comfortable, and so have a number of folks who have come to my studio to check out chairs, but chairs are very subjective. I'm really glad you were able to find something you like for under $100. I care very much about the integrity of my channel and reviews, so here is some additional info about myself/the channel. 1. In my review of the Branch Verve, I did not recommend it. I said it was wayyy overpriced for what it is...and I found the Ergonomic way more comfortable. So this is not a fluff piece channel...I try to review things objectively. 2. I said in my most recent video that I did not recommend the Ergonomic Pro chair (costs $200 more, so I would earn a higher commission) due to the seat cushion being non existent (felt the hard bottom immediately). 3. Various companies (including Branch) offered to increase my commission rate to help promote certain chairs. I declined, since ahnesty matters more to me than a few sales. In the end, I just hope you find a chair you love. And want to be careful here, but those wiggly arms could either be a defect or they haven't been locked. One of my arms couldn't lock as I show in the video, but the one that could was rock solid.
You're findings is probably spot on. A lot of these channels are reviewing these chairs and is purely for subscription purposes to the channel. Cheers are specific to the user. Reviewers if you notice when reviewing them oftentimes make references to how it feels to them. Almost as if the chair is going to be universally good for everyone. Horrible.
Man, I love that chair so much!!1!! I gave my fingers back after I lost them back in ‘Nam in ‘48. although , the chair did indeed place my fingers into the incorrect areas, leaving them stained permanently but at least i could feel through them still! Even if they are literally shitty!! OHHHHH I finally know why they are always so warm and wet!! 😂Anyway, another thing that chair did for me was pay for my hospital bills when I was undergoing treatment for my stage 88 ultra mega turbo cancer which was a huge relief since I didn't have enough organs to sell to pay for myself. That chair is a miracle and I couldn't recommend it more!!!1!! 10/10

Given the pros and cons, if you like a firm seat cushion and good lumbar support isn't a deal breaker for you, I think this is a decent all-day chair for the price, especially if you get it on sale.
we need a new chair buying guide lineup video! there's been so much since the last one
I know! So many excellent chairs!!!
Thank you for reviewing the headrest. I'm torn about whether to purchase it or not.
@@luifranco1457 Thank you. I purchased them together.
It's insane this $300 chair has metal legs, for HM, Steelcase, Haworth chairs, even upgrade form plastic legs to metal legs will cost $100+
That’s because if all top of the line chairs are $1500 people will buy them because there’s no competitor offering similar build quality for cheaper
Thanks for reviewing this! It reminds me of the Fern design but without the annoying moving arms (no lock feature) and at a lower price point. We really need a good headrest though.
Yeah but this chair can't compete against the Fern! Price difference is also huge!
Headrest is a $49 add on option, it looks fairly nice
I didn't know I could lock the recline in place until I watched this. Also, he's not kidding about the insane amount of force it takes to lock/unlock the armrest width.
If your arm rest adjustments are very tight, you probably have the arms switched. If you take them off and swap right to left (so the button on the bottom of the arm rest faced forward), it will be much easier.
Is it true this chair has no tilt tension control? Their website says it does.
It does! It was my fault. It’s located under the chair!
@@Ahnestly okay thanks!
Been looking for a different chair as my current Steelcase chair feels pretty good but the seat feels too thin and hard. This chair looks great and that nice big padded seat cushion looks really great, can't wait to try out this new chair!
Did you end up trying it? I have a Haworth Soji which everyone seems to love but the seat bottoms out for me.
Best video on this chair I have seen thank you!
How is it in 2024? Still recommended or should I get the Haworth Breck
I have a questions about the headrest. How tall is it when it been installed to the chair ? Like can it reach to my head or just my neck ? I’m 5ft8(1.7m)
Would it still be one of the best in 2024 ? Thanks
Your arms are so hard to adjust (and so far back) because you have them on backwards. I had the same issue before I realized what was going on. Remove the arms and swap them with the adjustment button on the bottom of the armrest facing the front of the chair.
oooo this is great insight!!
Do you have any recommendations for a leather chair at this price point?
Can you compare this to the colamy atlas?
Great review. I just ordered one open box. Fingers crossed it’s close to new condition
PLEASE review the ergonomic pro chair from branch
I came to your video to see if you had an example on how to use the Seat Tilt Tension , its in the instructions it has a kind of a Center Round Dial below seat in the middle but I cant make it work 😅 I might need to get help but FYI it does have one.
Hello Dan, and thank you for your review. I just bought the Branch Ergonomic chair using your link. Looking forward for the chair and I will leave some notes on my experience once I get it. Thank you !
How was your experience?
It does have a way to change reclining tension! it's a knob on the bottom center of the chair! And wirecutter says the armrests are wobbly... not if they're locked in properly!!
Doh! How did I miss that? My assistant put it together for me, so I must have missed it!!!
@@Ahnestly the aremest locking lever is a bit of a problem tho. It serves its purpose but doesn't work seamlessly
@@jj515789 let me know how you enjoy it. I have yet to touch the knob. The tension as is is perfect for me
If any fellow Aussies are looking into this chair and are wondering where to get it... it is available through a Sydney based company called Recess, rebranded as 'Ergo Pro' ☺
As Herman Miller is having a 20% off sale currently and I like that they are preassembled:
Sayl
Mirra 2
Possibly:
Branch Ergonomic
Or maybe their Verve.
Hi Dan. Can you please review the Herman Miller Celle? I don't find too many reviews of this chair. Is it worth buying a refurbished unit?
Should I get this or the Clatina Mellet?
The struggling to adjust the arm width is sending me 😂
Thanks for the video! I can't decide between this chair and the Colamy Atlas... the lumbar support and armrests seem better on the Branch, but I don't know about the headrest. The Branch can have one, and it's something very important to me to have a good headrest. If anyone's going through this, what's your opinion on it?
How would this compare to Haworth soji? Having trouble deciding.
I personally would go with the soji. You get your extra moneys worth - Cushion will last longer, 12 year warranty, free returns! If you decide to pick up, please consider using my link! Helps the channel a lot!
does the no head rest effect it what so ever?
Awesome review! I was going to buy the soji until I saw this review. Which chair do you recommend?
Soji. Hands down. 12 year warranty and better seat cushion. Either Soji or the Clatina Mellet (I think Soji has the superior warranty and cushion, but clatina offers a LOT for the money).
Found this quite helpful. Thank you.
Quality video, Thank you!
Great reviews on chairs! Have been wavering between Branch Daily and Ergonomic. Thoughts on the Daily?
No thoughts bc I’ve never tested it :(
Great review. What colour type is the chair in the video?
Good video Mr. Ahnestly.

Choosing between the Branch Ergo vs the Comamy Atlas. Any suggestions from anyone ?
I bought the atlas and that lumbar was brutal. Dug into my back. Hope it works out for you. I’m considering the Odin Lake ergo 633 but not sure.
Branch Ergonomic does have tilt tension! It’s just a knob under the chair. Not sure how I missed it!

I’m 5’ 11” 215. Have not found a chair seat cushion that is comfortable yet. Do you think this cushion I would feel the bottom?

@thomasanderson5929 glad I nailed it with this one!

Today I'm reinserting in around twice a day, but since I'm buying another one, I wouldn't bother fixing it
Next issue was on mid 2023, when the seat fabric started to get rough on seat's right side, where my left foot rests.

Also, I tried a Knoll Regeneration. Solid chair!

Year update, this chair sucks man. Not even a year mine is falling apart and reaching out for warranty they are nigh useless. AVOID THIS CHAIR PEOPLE.
i have this chair and it kinda sucks. especially for the price. i had to get a seat cushion because the stock seat cushion didn't hold up to my weight. and i'm like 200 lbs. the back lumbar support is not comfortable at all. one of the most disappointing chairs i have bought.
Why would you get a more expensive chair? This chair seems perfect

@@DAVIDPFLIN cheap feel, the mesh back and recline was mid. I would save for an embody or fern, tried both and went with the embody.
