Granger at your encouragement along with Pastor Chad and Amber’s Arise I took on the challenge of reading the Bible in a year and accomplished that goal. I’m now on my way through for a second time and loving it. Every morning no matter what me and Jesus have a date. I’m using the Bible Project. Reading the Bible is now a part of what I do and who I am. It’s now expected that I’ll be in a certain place at a certain time reading my Bible. It’s changed my life. Thank you for the encouragement from the beginning. People are listening to you 😊❤🙏
I don’t remember if I was just listening to a Granger podcast or if it was with Pastor Chad but Granger was talking about reading the Bible in a year and if you read 4 chapters a day, at least that is what I remember. So I did that, first off I am a senior and thought I was a good Christian, and found that it makes a difference when you are actually reading. After the year was over I floundered and came to the realization that I missed reading.
Ephesians was the first book that grabbed me

I started the M'Cheyne plan last year. I did exactly what you said and allowed life to stop me from reading. I am now back in the plan and I am determined to make it a habit. For anyone starting the plan when I was in Genesis I was struggling until I started listening to Chuck Missler “Bible in 24 hours”. He helped me understand things I was struggling to understand and even pointed out some pretty cool things God did with the Bible
You should watch Kanoe Gibson Bible in 365, she is the best I've ever listened to about the Bible. She's on YOU TUBE.
I started a new bible study journal that has been so great! It’s called the SOAR journal. It’s prompted in a practical way that has you write down your observations and life application. Gets your brain ticking! 10/10 would recommend. It really has me enjoying the Bible for the first time in 30 years 👏🏼🤘🏼Gonna go ahead and try this miracle morning you speak of - sounds great!! 2024 is gonna be a good one, y’all!
Well, not exactly how I thought this video was gonna start out, but you guys are certainly entertaining. I love how these conversations are just like the types of conversations that brothers and good friends would get into. You start off on one topic, and before you know it, you've gone all over the map. I appreciate your insights. I am like Granger described - a creature of habit. I don't need a great deal of variety in my life. I thrive in consistency, but I know we don't live in a consistent world, so like Granger said, it's good for us to step out of our routines from time to time. Great getting to hear from y'all. Can't believe it won't be long before we're hearing from Parker about the birth of his son (by the way, nice name choice). Hope Amy is holding up well in the last weeks of pregnancy. #YeeYee

Happy New Years guys! Tyler I think you should stay away from electric and with your Ford.. I am not sure how our grids are going to handle all the electric cars our leaders think we need to go to.. just my opinion. I am starting a new reading plan called The Bible Recap. I really want to get into the word this year. Thanks for all you guys do and for the advise and encouragement on studying the word!

As far as electric vehicles go it's like a fad. You have to pay for the electricity to keep the vehicle running. Look at the time it takes to plug in and wait and how is that going to work if you have an appointment to be at. Also you get into your vehicle go somewhere your running low then you have to find a charging station and there not free. Check into it before spending your money. Also how much is it going to cost for repairs. As a 74 year old I say that AI is dangerous. For one thing God gave us brains and unfortunately folks don't want to use it. It's called being brainwashed. There is a big difference in what your being sold on. Reading the Bible. For one thing people start to read it from the beginning and loose interest. Reading the book of John is a great start then the other books of the beginning of the New Testament. Just a thought. I really do enjoy watching y'all and hope you continue. Love the Smiths Oh PS has Amy had the baby yet.

Texas has plenty of need for missionaries like (Elijah Rising) infact all of us including the state of Texas ask missionaries for help stopping child trafficking and 14th amendment violations and this fake Smith Mission is to run to Africa or wherever is a slap in the face. If you're looking for some real missionaries check out (Elijah Rising) Houston Texas. Texas does need help and Matt and the Smiths are a net negative to Texans.
