But Jordan is technically underground for Minecraft laws and would not be detected from the dragon. Thus Jordan being underground the exception from being attacked by the dragon. But the dragon still attacks Jordan despite him being “underground.” Unless the upside down feature changes the coding to where you are technically above ground. Not sure how minecraft works tho cuz I never looked into the coding.

Seriously, if you try to tower in any way shape or form (even right next to a tower) it yeets you off of it in a quick hurry and once you're back on the ground it takes every opportunity to shoot its breath at you.
Even though jardon is upside down, objects still have normal gravity. So if jardon just threw whatever he was holding as he fell into the void, he wouldn’t have lost any items.

If you really don't want to unalive in moments like this, but you want to go through with little equipment, make two ender chests. You can get obsidian and eyes of ender without going to the end, so you can store all your stuff in an ender chest in the portal room and bring the second one with you. If spawn is safe, put down the chest and get your stuff. If it isn't, you'll die and lose the second ender chest, but your stuff will stay in it, ready to be taken out in the portal room.
