      @T.F.S gang Tongan Fijian Samoan This was such an awsome comment thank you for taking the time to explain this very important information to help all of us that are interested in the history of who we were and where we come from. I am so proud to be from the South Pacific and hold my lineage and my title as a daughter from these little islands living and being born in the great America which my niece would call America because she is half Fijian and her dads from Suva. My sister lives there with her little family I miss them so much. I hear they locked down the island please be safe I'll pray for you all back in the motherland. I love learning about my people's history. can you please tell me where I can read more about this and it's exciting to learn how the oral tradition may have started and makes sense. I wonder who were the little people and where the boat with the stone tablets with all of our traditions and writings and materials went or if someone hid them or not either way such great stories surprised no one has made a screenplay of it anyways thank you so much for sharing a glimpse of our immaculate history which ties all of my suspicions of who and where we all came from

      The original people of Tonga, Samoa, etc did not have Melanesian DNA. In fact, the oldest skeletal found in Polynesia pointed to Taipei and the Philippines as origins. The Melanesian's followed our Austronesians Tipuna to Vanuatu and Fiji. Tongans Samoans then intermingled and married Melanesian/Fijians creating the Polynesians prior to Europeans entry into the Pacific.

    • @alexiscolby9415
      @alexiscolby9415 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@ngatibroffessor1840 However, Captures_x_captures is expressing how he is not able to see the correlation to the Austronesian/Lapita/Taiwanese link simply by observing what he sees in the mirror by comparison to these "ancestors of origin". I understand about human physicalities changing and adapting to climate/environments etc but there is quite a BIG (no pun intended) difference between the average Polynesian stature and Tawainese/S.E Asian. I myself, question the connection, despite the scientific claims, and of course I must stress as well that a lot of the scientifc evidence weather its from field research/archaeological and/or anthropological observation/research can be flawed and more often than not come from a more eurocentric comprehension and not an innate sense such as from the actual people themselves. Are we to ignore oral histories which somehow don't really line up with a lot of these theories floating around, not that long ago we were told our origins hailed from the America's via Eastern Pacific ie Rapa Nui. Also with the rise China's world power and her wanton lust for control of the pacific and in particular the South Pacific which surrounds parts of China - its quite funny how the Taiwanese theory has gained more "scientific evidence" and therefore more credibility and more traction amongst our people's. Strange though, how much $$$ many "reputable" universities receive just from conducting independent highly paid "research" into theories that could benefit China. How quick we are to dismiss our own oral traditions and historical records passed on from generations. Tonga probably one of the last Pasifika nations where even small children from the village area's can give an oral account of their blood lines. Also a simple observation and comparison of cultural tradition's, songs, dances, clothing, language etc the lapita pottery is not enough, Polynesian's travelled thousands of miles on treacherous waters effortlessly, trade amongst many of these ancient nations pre-colonial contact was nothing new. I dunno, too many holes in the teapot, it really leaks but ah, well I guess some of us like to believe "scientific evidence" over ancestral truths. Just my 2 cents...carry on.

But no other people look African except for the Fijians. We look more along the lines of the natives of the ancient American Indians and South Americans. There are also more similarities in language with those people with all of Polynesia. We are not Africans. Ko ia pe malo...

The Bible says " you teach them the way, honor your mother and father, seek and you will find. It also tell us in john 8:44-45 that white folks are liars like their father. Remember your ancestors dealt with these same people as you are, this is why you are earned in their written works.
