Have you had a video call with her or just txt messages because she could just be scamming you. It happened to me be careful don't send anymore gift cards and see if she keeps interest in you or whether she just disappears
That's a scam, she's using the gift cards to buy things that she wants, and since it's a gift card it's harder to trace the source of said scam because it's not linked to a bank card. On top of that, she's using you for your money, trying to play you for a fool, and she thinks you don't see it. You need to cut her loose and be careful out there.
