They themselves will give up eating beef or pork for that matter. We need to communicate amicably and not through force is my point.

Every place in India have there own dessert and sweets not just mumbai. Like you said Indian food are spicy so we need some sweets after our meals.
Well in India, it depends on where you live. Like in my area of city Vizag, even street vendors need license. If you cook commercially at home, then too you have to get a licence or the fine is very high. Even if you have a licence, the food department regularly conducts surprise raids. Especially in festival season so that they can keep a firm check on any kind of food adulterations. Even stale meat in storage will land the owner in very deep trouble. We read in news every month that raids caught some famous bbq restaurant for stale meat....towns might not be as strict. Hence it's important to know where the locals prefer to eat.
Bro... Food safety department in Vizag is so sick. Famous restaurants in Vizag should be shut down if proper search is done. I went into the kitchens, meat storage rooms of every famous restaurants. Every famous restaurant we eat don't follow any food safety regulations. Serval times I had vomited after visiting meat storage room.
