The key when you eat any gravy or chutney, curry or whatever with rice is you have to mix it evenly after adding the sauces over it so that the flavours are absorbed by each grain of rice evenly (The colour of the white rice should be completely changed into the gravy's colour before you eat it, this is how we eat rice in Southern India, the authentic way). Just pouring it on some part of the rice and eating it is a wrong way of eating the rice which westerners do as he did in this video. Dillon next time(when you have Indian food) when you add gravy on the white rice make sure you mix it well and then eat. I bet you will thank me once you try it.

All these food vloggers when they eat Indian food ..they make it look messy... you can easily avoid using all your fingers....dipped in gravy..
Also you do not have to eat spicy if you cant bare and digest.. there are mild reciepes... so don't be a hero on camera....

Try Indian food in India because in your country whatever served as spicy foods in the restaurants is not that spicy at all. The authenticity in the restaurant outside India can't match the food of Indian restaurants.

Dillion, We have close to 100 rice varieties in India and the least used is Basmati rice... Most of it is exported...In India, It's only used during special occasions or for making dishes like Biriyani or pulav. It's too expensive for daily consumption
