You don't love too far from me, I live in SE Oho and ride in Kentucky often. Many rides to the AA highway from Maysville to Ashland and Carter Caves. My wife likes Rt. 23 from South Shore to Ashland where you follow the Ohio RIver. My best friend just bought V7 last Saturday at the Throttle Co. in Columnus, Ohio. I'm sure he owns the only Moto Guzzi in the county. I've always wanted one but due to my wife's health issues we have to ride a trike. Thanks for the video, I'll be waiting for more on the Guzzi.
I used to live in Maysville and still ride up there often and cross the Simon Kenton bridge into Ohio there. Great place around Bridge if like taking pictures and stuff especially when it gets late and lights come on, at the bridge and downtown Maysville across the river.
@@bikerbeliever8169 We love riding in Ky. When my wife was in better health we use to load a tent and sleeping bag on the luggage rack, pack our clothes in the saddle bags and go. We've traveled by bike in eight states and camped put along the way. Kentucky has the best campgrounds and the friendliest people of any state we've traveled in. Levi Jackson Sate park and Cumberland Falls Sate Park were two that really stand out. We've only covered Eastern Kentucky, never been to Western Ky.
That is a pity. You had the two bikes that I am thinking very hard about. In the end leaning towards the Guzzi as it has more comfort, great range and an engine that sounds good just cruising.@@bikerbeliever8169
I have a V7 Carbon Dark, I have not been able to find proper bar end mirrors that fits, what’s is the brand you use and did you have to use any adapter? Thanks bro, ride safe!
I got them off Amazon. Any standard size mirror with bolt end setup should work if you get the right size bolts. I had to order the right bolt size but longer if I remember correct to work. No adapters.
Nice vid . How’s the suspension on this new MG? Recently sold my 2013 and I couldn’t get used to it. Often I wanted do longer trips but it was just uncomfortable after 45mins. Rear felt unstable above 65. Maybe it’s just me.
Feels great to me. The weakest point imo is the forks, but that's only if you ride aggressively. Normal riding the way bike was designed is perfectly fine. The rear changes is much better.
Yeah the 2019 is lighter as well which will help. This don't matter much once your going of course. Just take your time be responsible and respect the bike.
@@bikerbeliever8169 If you could only have one as a daily all-rounder and they were the same price and mileage...which would you choose? Currently have that decision to make.
@@countbasingstokeim looking at getting one of these. I think I will just get an ecu map device from the start and reset to base map if needed to take it to the dealership. Why not take control and do the solution from the beginning, would probably make the engine last longer too.
I'm not against it, but not what I'm looking to do. If anything I'd just take them to guy I know that does autobody work has paint booth and have him paint the headers for me.
Nah I sold all my bikes. I got a new CF Moto Ibex 800 now. Got an adv bike to be more upright when riding. I should've made some videos on it just haven't had focus on it right now.
@@bikerbeliever8169 for my first bike, i was leaning towards the v7 stone. But im 6’3 260. Can flatfoot the v85. Used to ride bikes as a kid. Rode my dads ultra classic thats 900 pounds. I figured i can handle a v85, plus its my dream bike so why not just go for it
Wow I watched this get posted, keep putting out more videos! Great stuff!
Thanks

Hope Guzzi come through for you on your claim.
Did you ever get it tuned? Installed your slip-ons? (Mistal?)
No I sold it. Needed money at time. Sold all the bikes but got me an ibex 800t now. I just ain't made any videos bout it.

I have a 2020 Stone and mine is stable and comfortable. I do have a wind screen that helps a lot.
Bought a new one at Gateway Cycle today 👍🏼
Nice where I bought mine as well
I was thinking about getting a used 2019 from gateway cycles as my first bike. Would you consider this a decent starter?
Yeah the 2019 is lighter as well which will help. This don't matter much once your going of course. Just take your time be responsible and respect the bike.
Excuse my ignorance since I haven't seen every video. But, do you still have the Svartpilen 701 @BikerBeliever?
yes i do
@@bikerbeliever8169 Cool! Good for you and the wife building a collection of bikes!
@@trunktoyz yes slowly but surely. Good to have a variety.

Hey pal. You still riding?
Yes sir still riding
@@bikerbeliever8169 good stuff. What ever happened regarding the paint peal on the Guzzi pipes? Am considering similar bike.

@vinrot your right its prob good idea
What's your thoughts on just getting the pipes wrapped.

Just bought ny v7 special from gateway yesterday. Carl is a talker, isn't he? :D
Do you ever get around Campbellsville? There are some beautiful roads. If you're ever near there, let me know. I need some riding buds.
Lol yes he is
No not really that's about 2 and half hours away. I'd be wore out by time I got there lol
@@bikerbeliever8169 ah no worries man :)
Just bought a v85TT....
