I watched the whole video and enjoyed it very much (even though I don’t drink coffee)…nicely done. I am currently in Hà Nội as well, going back to Canada on Wednesday. If you are still in Hà Nội, try these… Bún Chả Que Tre 33 Hàng Giầy street , Hàng Buồm Phở Thìn and get the little breadsticks to dunk in the broth, 13 Lò Đúc And of course the fruits… Quả Mít (jack fruit) Quả na (Custard apple) Mangosteen, longan…
What a great video and family. I'm off to Hanoi for the first time tonight for three days, googled hundreds of cafe and was having a hard time picking just a few spots to try to cram in my itenary, thank goodness I've found your video.❤
Oh how I miss VN. VN cafes are instagram heaven. They're all unique with different looks, decor, atmosphere. Vietnam's cafes are not sterile template like the US. I guess that's the benefit of being individually owned instead of being a franchise. As for the fruits, I was not a big vegetable or fruit person but after having lived and worked in VN, I actually miss having alot of greens in my meal now that I'm back in the States. Their fruit are picked tree-ripened, not like us where fruits are picked early to allow time for transportation and sitting on the supermarket shelf like here in the US. I notice their fruit have a nice fragrance whereas I hardly smell any fruit fragrance at our supermarket. I see that the little one is the star, she gets so much attention from the local Vietnamese; deservedly so I'd say.
Such an awesome video! I was hoping someone would do a more extensive coffee hop like this. Hanoi still has so many more uber cool cafes that you guys have yet to find. I love how unique and cool their cafes are and even though I cannot do more than one coffee a day, I'd go and order tea or something else just to hang out at the cafes. I was hoping you guys would have done salted, peanut, and yogurt coffee as well, though. :) That last place was a total gem, for sure.
Thank you! We tried many more that didn’t make it into the video, didn’t get to try yogurt coffee and we didn’t hear about salted or peanut coffee!!! Sounds amazing! Next time!
