Not only Ken's and Stell's voice really complement each other, they also have a special bond that glues them together. Off stage, those two share the same humor and antics. Their staff used to say that Ken can be a handful, but when Stell comes in, they just give up. Hahahahaha. Best friends forever!
I might be a hardcore Stell biased but I really have a soft spot for the "baby" Ken. Would you ever think there'd be this side of Ken after hearing his solo songs and the way he carries himself on stage? He's literally a baby when he's with Stell. Stell is his safe space. And when Ken was asked who his fave singer is. Guess who? It's Stell. There was this Ken phase back then when he would secretly record unsuspecting Stell singing and post him on his IG story. That's why we have those Stell voice recordings to this day. All thanks to this fanboy Ken.

Ken may look like a badass cool guy as a protective shell but a warm butter inside that is how I feel about him. When a security guard call him out and happens to be a hometown childhood friend he was so happy. When parents of his manager happens to be at the wish bus site on his way in he was called out from the line and embrace them. It is so pure that it warms me every time he was caught on camera doing that.
I believe Felip has a lot of hidden talents that remains unrevealed. This guy is truly amazing and can't wait for him to be discovered globally.

I used to just think of him as either Felip, the beast or Ken the quirky boy with the low voice and smooth runs but it doesn't do him justice. there's also the fashion icon, the producer, the artist, the list goes on and on. I have already heard of SB19 before but I have to admit it, I have never been that interested or hooked with them until I learned of Ken Felip Suson & his story. What really got me into Ken is his complexity, his depth as a person & artist or performer. I started seeing him always playing supporting parts or acts for the whole SB19, but I know deep in my heart & mind that Ken is greater than the rest of SB19 combined. Now, we are seeing that thing come i into fruition, bit by bit. And as things are turning up right now in Ken's phenomenal career, that might even be an understatement. A lot has yet to evolve, much more morphe with Ken, personally & professionally at that. Stay focused & grounded Ken & know that you can always count on our support. Roar louder, soar higher, Ken Felip aka Mr. Complex. Mind you, the Dark Horse of SB19 in Ken is slaying the music ibdustry right now, it seems as though I am seeing a Sheep turning into a Wolf. The cute Ken has just becone a beast in his performances, a potent force to be reckoned with in the music industry wotldwide.

“To the rescue, but he didn’t need rescuing.” He really didn’t, but Stell’s mere presence really boosted his confidence, you can see and hear the change. Even the staff knew this would happen lol, because they asked Stell to come in and keep him company in the first place when he was really supposed to be alone.
I really wish they would add subtitles to the voice lives, because Ken’s entire voice live (and everyone else’s as well) is so cute.

I totally agree with you. I am looking forward to Ken releasing a love song. I love his voice. It makes me feel at peace and calm. I hope for a Ken x Stell collab as well. 🙏 I also felt the same way as you whenever I’m listening to Ken’s singing voice. He’s always the support and his bass vocal makes their song sound so much better. I love the 5 of them. Their vocals are different from one another but sound so good and powerful together. Ken switched to singing his parts in Hanggang sa Huli when Stell came in. And it was such a delight to see Ken's wide smile when Stell started singing. Stell is one of Ken's favorite singers. Ken is the no.1 biggest fanboy of Stell’s voice. You can tell he loves both listening to Stell and singing with Stell ☺️🎶.
They both can have unusual, unreal, almost artificial tones. You can hear it in Stell’s climactic high note in WYAT near the song’s end. Even when he does it live, that high note from WYAT has this fantastic almost metallic sound.
As for Ken, I also remember a video short somewhere (maybe previous years’ sound check?) of Ken holding a really low low note with his husky, growly, rumbly tone. We’re all amazed at his mid level husky/airy R&B tones. But the lower he goes in his register, the growlier he gets. In the short I saw, the vid description or title was reassuring us that that wasn’t a machine or an effect, it was “just” Ken’s voice. Add to all that the fact that Ken and Stell (KENTELL 😄💕) can sing in perfect unison... that just makes this duo sound even more unreal.
Oh you haven’t seen the best part cover. Best cover of him for me. He sang different versions. He sang with a guitar, he sang in a wedding.

"You're Still the One" became SB19's theme song of sorts at one point. The lyrics are not just about 2 people struggling in their relationship. For them, it's "you and me against the world". Back when they were virtually unknown, what they have is each other and they chose to be together no matter what. And it really paid off. Ken and Stell (KenTell) are best pals. They are very close to each other that's probably why you sensed something thus giving you the "neck and neck" feel. Ken is the most comfortable with Stell, you will definitely see that in their many interactions. And yes, I definitely agree with you, their voices truly complement each other and I really wish that they will release a duet in the near future.
Ken is still not that confident then compared to now. I hope he would do a full cover of Hanggang sa Huli. I am a berry but I really have a soft spot for Ken. He really has a beautiful voice too. When I saw a video of him singing a worship song in church, I was floored.
Yes he really has a soothing voice when he do ballads its very pleasant to hear and has a calming vibe. I hope you could also react to his cover of Best Part it was awesome. There are several live versions in a wedding (Tank their previous choreographer), during his live w/an acoustic guitar & their 1st concert (Manila).

I’m so grateful to you and your beautiful words. There are a lot of things about Ken that are so easy to miss because he is a master of the art of subtlety. He doesn’t flaunt, unpretentious, and more often than not, tries so hard to blend in if not completely disappear, when there are ppl around.

Ken's songs are usually so emotionally-charged or heart-warming. He's so honest with his emotion as if he draws them from his actual experiences in the past. Othherwise, he is really putting himself - mind, body & soul included into the zone & into the song. Can't help it but be captivated by Ken's rendition of You're Still the One & Hanggxng sa Huli, the latter with a little help from Stell.
Suffice it to say, Ken's interpretation of the songs here is so soulful, soothing, calming that you have a feeling you are simply falling in love with the song & falling asleep as well. Ken's voice is really therapeutic

Literally stells and kens voices came.straigjt from heaven i need them to collab and release songs and ken needs to cover every lovesong there is out there. His voice is a gem. He mentioned in one of their interviews that he had a girlfriend prior his training they broke up. Other interviews Ken mentioned about love is sacrificing, acceptance, that the girl is happy with someone else. i think they sacrificed their relationship and love for one another bc that time their management dont want them to have a girlfriend for them not to be distracted of their careers. Oh my, i can't believe it. Before i went to bed last night, I was watching these clips and I thought, wouldn't it be nice if Hurraira can react to this since she's been craving for a Kentell collab? Then your RV is the first one I saw this morning. I'm so happy.
There's word going around that their 3rd EP would contain sub-units. Crossing my fingers that if it indeed happens, Stell and Ken would be placed in one group. They can sing a ballad and melt a lot of hearts or do an upbeat one with choreography to also showcase their dance skills. That would be a killer.
