Like I said , am a Philipino American and live in the USA and I just love watching all of those people from all over the world about SB19 reactions!!! They just can’t believe how so talented Philippino really are , and so good looking they are , they said …. Many of them don’t even know where’s the Philippines are located ?! And now they want to visit and learn more about the Philippines cultures ?!?!?! Like how amazing that is and what these boys did to the Philippines in a positive way !!!! They absolutely opened up the wonder of how and where the Philippines is located ?!?!? To me , SB19 have opened up a new history and new era for the Philippines and the Philippinos people look out of life period …. God , meant to be discovered them and put them together for that moment in time to be recognize of their brilliant amazing talents for the world to see ?!?! They meant to be for the Philippines to be discovered in the perfect time …. After reading and watching these boys story , that’s when I realized, my God , he truly handpick each of them to be extremely excellent with their talented brains …. SB19 to me is , my ultimate Jackson Five heroes …. I have seen so many Philippines talents , but I have never seen any one like SB19 period ……. SB19 is known as the live monsters,They sing all their songs when they perform on stage live and without using auto tunes. If you haven't seen their wish bus performances, please do. Everybody says that they're even better singing live than their recorded MVs. And I do heartily agree 100%. They are phenomenal performers.

I agree.. good live vocals is guarantee in Ppop. You my expand to BINI (the SB19 of girl groups). All powerful vocalists with whistle ability, 4 rappers, 8 dancers, 8 pretty ladies and good MVs because they are under a big label. Another boy group is ALAMAT - good live vocals, great dancers, 6 languages/dialects, songs based on culture.

Actually Stell has the fairest skintone, Ken has the darkest, in tagalog we call his dark skintone “moreno”… some call it golden skintone, which sounds a bit regal and more pleasing to hear.
Hi Hurraira! They were just here in US from i think end of Oct to November for their world tour. Sadly, i didnt know about them 2 weeks pass their concerts. So ive been binging only on online videos of their performances. I wish they have "pay-to-view" or rent their past concerts through TH-cam, or Amazon Prime Video.
I have come across Huraira reacting to a lot of SB19 videos, so I am now binge watching with her and retrace my steps on how I, like her, got hooked to this wonderful boys. It is also fun to see her, like me, slowly falling for Stell - my ultimate bias. Oh dear, SB19 has become my addiction 🤣
Thank you so much for another SB19 video, and so soon after the last one!! 💙💙💙💙💙 Short story time: when I was growing up, I was almost embarrassed of being Filipino and wished I was a 'cooler' type of Asian, like Korean or Japanese. So I'm so glad that younger Filipinos have SB19 to look up to, to see that our culture, our language, our skin, our whole country is just as awesome and beautiful as anywhere else and we have so much to be proud of. It still blows my mind to see foreigners singing along to their Tagalog songs and learning the lyrics even if they don't understand the language, just like I used to do with songs from other countries. I'm so proud of SB19 and the things they've achieved (with more to come, I'm sure!!). The vast majority of the Philippines is Catholic because of the Spanish colonization. Ken grew up in the church since his grandfather was a pastor, and I believe Pablo's family is involved with the church too. Catholicism has/had a big impact on Filipino culture. It's a running joke that all Filipinos can sing, so when the average person can sing pretty well, we have really high standards for people who sing professionally. SB19 are by no means the only idol group in the Philippines who can sing really well - they all can. There's a video on Josh's personal channel where, during the first ever P-Pop Con, he went to all the groups and asked them to sing a bit - live, with no warning, and they all sound awesome (th-cam.com/video/EbpQ-dbZvt8/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=JoshCullenSantos). For the next RV, you could maybe check out all their Wish Bus performances? There's also a couple of songs with official videos that you haven't heard yet: SLMT (has an MV) and their latest release, Nyebe (has a lyric visualizer). Ken/Felip's EP is coming out next month too and the first MV from it, Rocksta, was just released this week (th-cam.com/video/DkVLBij5wM8/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=FELIP). See, that's the thing with watching reaction videos. Reactors are either big kpop fans or are exposed to the kpop world, so I like that they are seeing the difference between k and p-pop, which makes it easier for my curious mind. Plus the advantage is I don't need to listen and watch kpop to tell the difference. I go to kpop dance events here 'coz a friend is always performing, so I have to be there. But I really can't stand the music. I do not want to sound harsh, but it's only just my personal preference, and I hope people can understand that. I grew up listening to western pop, rock and r&b. I turned away from Philippine music because the industry went with the kpop trend. I tried to like kpop, but I just couldn't appreciate it. I discovered SB19 just recently when they penetrated the US. They broke the barriers and married pop, rap, r&b, and infused the Filipino culture to the world stage, something that was missing in PH local music industry for decades. They took it to the highest level which made them the P-pop kings they are today. I like that their music is also resonating to westerners and people like me who live in Europe. And to answer your question: Yes, I am more than proud to have SB19 as young ambassadors to our country. It is only now that I've seen and appreciated a pop group, not because of trends, but because of the genuine talent and heart they have towards their mission, bringing out our culture to the world stage with so much passion and dedication.

I hope that you will react on their interviews and vlogs also to get to know them more. They are not just only a bunch of talented guys but also full of wisdom and wit. I love their personalities too. They are very humble.
I learned about Josh's background first. That's why I began to respect the boys more, aside from their crazy talent and charisma. You should look into Ken's family background, too. I've watched performances wherein he broke down. He grew up with his grandparents and only met his parents once before he made it big. Every single time I watch a video of Ken, I always break down in tears because he lost his grandparents before he hit stardom. The song Mapa is 'giving back' to our parents to let them rest. But for Ken, the song hurts even more when he sings "Pahinga muna. Ako na" (It's time for you to rest. It's my turn)... He sings that heartbreaking part as "Rest well", full stop. Because there's no chance for him to 'give back' to his grandparents.

Wow, i was just thinking when are you going to do another SB19 RV and then I saw this. Thank you very much for appreciating the boys and taking time out to watch them. You asked about religion. The Philippines is a predominantly Catholic country, having been under the Spanish regime for more than 300 years. But since we were also colonized by the Americans, the Protestant religion also gained following. As for SB19, I'm not sure what their faith is but Ken has mentioned that his grandfather and father were both pastors and he grew up in church and learned to sing as a result. Anyway, with the Round Festival already done, you may want to check out their PPOP Con performance. They had a different take for What? there which you may find interesting. Another good one is the acoustic version of Love Goes. You also mentioned that you like the combination of Stell and Justin's voices so you might enjoy their cover of Shallow.

Hi Hurraira! They were just here in US from i think end of Oct to November for their world tour. Sadly, i didnt know about them 2 weeks pass their concerts. So ive been binging only on online videos of their performances. I wish they have "pay-to-view" or rent their past concerts through TH-cam, or Amazon Prime Video.
I have come across Huraira reacting to a lot of SB19 videos, so I am now binge watching with her and retrace my steps on how I, like her, got hooked to this wonderful boys. It is also fun to see her, like me, slowly falling for Stell - my ultimate bias. Oh dear, SB19 has become my addiction 🤣

Short story time: when I was growing up, I was almost embarrassed of being Filipino and wished I was a 'cooler' type of Asian, like Korean or Japanese. So I'm so glad that younger Filipinos have SB19 to look up to, to see that our culture, our language, our skin, our whole country is just as awesome and beautiful as anywhere else and we have so much to be proud of. It still blows my mind to see foreigners singing along to their Tagalog songs and learning the lyrics even if they don't understand the language, just like I used to do with songs from other countries. I'm so proud of SB19 and the things they've achieved (with more to come, I'm sure!!).
The vast majority of the Philippines is Catholic because of the Spanish colonization. Ken grew up in the church since his grandfather was a pastor, and I believe Pablo's family is involved with the church too. Catholicism has/had a big impact on Filipino culture.
It's a running joke that all Filipinos can sing, so when the average person can sing pretty well, we have really high standards for people who sing professionally. SB19 are by no means the only idol group in the Philippines who can sing really well - they all can. There's a video on Josh's personal channel where, during the first ever P-Pop Con, he went to all the groups and asked them to sing a bit - live, with no warning, and they all sound awesome (th-cam.com/video/EbpQ-dbZvt8/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=JoshCullenSantos).
For the next RV, you could maybe check out all their Wish Bus performances? There's also a couple of songs with official videos that you haven't heard yet: SLMT (has an MV) and their latest release, Nyebe (has a lyric visualizer). Ken/Felip's EP is coming out next month too and the first MV from it, Rocksta, was just released this week (th-cam.com/video/DkVLBij5wM8/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=FELIP). So a video about their solos would be cool too! Only Felip and Pablo have released songs but the others have done some great covers.

See, that's the thing with watching reaction videos. Reactors are either big kpop fans or are exposed to the kpop world, so I like that they are seeing the difference between k and p-pop, which makes it easier for my curious mind. Plus the advantage is I don't need to listen and watch kpop to tell the difference. I go to kpop dance events here 'coz a friend is always performing, so I have to be there. But I really can't stand the music. I do not want to sound harsh, but it's only just my personal preference, and I hope people can understand that.
I grew up listening to western pop, rock and r&b. I turned away from Philippine music because the industry went with the kpop trend. I tried to like kpop, but I just couldn't appreciate it. I discovered SB19 just recently when they penetrated the US. They broke the barriers and married pop, rap, r&b, and infused the Filipino culture to the world stage, something that was missing in PH local music industry for decades. They took it to the highest level which made them the P-pop kings they are today. I like that their music is also resonating to westerners and people like me who live in Europe. And to answer your question: Yes, I am more than proud to have SB19 as young ambassadors to our country. It is only now that I've seen and appreciated a pop group, not because of trends, but because of the genuine talent and heart they have towards their mission, bringing out our culture to the world stage with so much passion and dedication.

I guess we Filipinos are more proud of SB19. I am so happy for them. Their several years of hardship are being paid off.
I learned about Josh's background first. That's why I began to respect the boys more, aside from their crazy talent and charisma. You should look into Ken's family background, too. I've watched performances wherein he broke down. He grew up with his grandparents and only met his parents once before he made it big. Every single time I watch a video of Ken, I always break down in tears because he lost his grandparents before he hit stardom. The song Mapa is 'giving back' to our parents to let them rest. But for Ken, the song hurts even more when he sings "Pahinga muna. Ako na" (It's time for you to rest. It's my turn)... He sings that heartbreaking part as "Rest well", full stop. Because there's no chance for him to 'give back' to his grandparents.

Basically, SB19 doesn't need help from anybody to produce quality.
They mainly produced almost all of it, though they got a few help/collabs too, an example to that is their What song.

You asked about religion. The Philippines is a predominantly Catholic country, having been under the Spanish regime for more than 300 years. But since we were also colonized by the Americans, the Protestant religion also gained following. As for SB19, I'm not sure what their faith is but Ken has mentioned that his grandfather and father were both pastors and he grew up in church and learned to sing as a result.
Anyway, with the Round Festival already done, you may want to check out their PPOP Con performance. They had a different take for What? there which you may find interesting. Another good one is the acoustic version of Love Goes.
