Thank you for appreciating Stell's talent. As a berry, that means a lot. Some people can be blinded by jealousy coz they or their faves can't have what he has so they bash him for his looks (just because he isn't as pretty before on cam like their usual idols, but a lot swear he looks unreal even during their early days). They can't find any more flaws in him in terms of talent or character and has no dirty linens. Never heard anything bad about him, all good words from friends from way before and people they have worked with through the years. One of the most humble and caring man ever!
Believe it or not I got a chance to chat with Stell's mom last weekend. She told us he didn't even want to sing at first. He just wanted to dance. I can't imagine a world without singer Stell. In fact, I refuse to.

I had met up with another A'TIN to trade photo cards at Pablo's mother's café HAVRE DE GRACE and Stell's mother happened to drop by with a few of Stell's other family members. We asked for a photo with her and she told us stories about his childhood for something like half an hour. She's definitely where he got his sunshiney personality from. I told her I'd thought Stell was the blight of singing contests in his native Las Piñas (ya know, like that one kid who struck fear in others whenever he walked in because the winner would then be apparent) but she said he only ever danced at school and flat out refused to sing until he started training with ShowBT, SB19's first company before the boys formed their own outfit, 1Z Entertainment. It's crazy but it turns out she lives in the same subdivision as some members of my family. Small world, right? If you come to the Philippines, I'll buy you lunch at HAVRE. Their food is amazing and you never know who might stop by!

Josh and Pablo has recently recorded an OST for a TV series, they’re endorsing brands as individuals and as a band. Definitely, eyes are on them. Puregold, which got Justin as endorser, joked that one day they will be able to afford all 5!

What makes him so uber talented as a vocalist (and also a dancer and choreographer but voice-wise) isn't just because of his rarity as a counter-tenor. It's because of the hard work he puts into as well. Even outside work, he takes song requests. What makes this genius is that he, not only amazes and entertains us to an eargasmic treat, but uses this platform to improve himself further and explore the dimensions of his voice. This enables him to gain mastery over his voice, pitch, dynamics, range, stamina, and stability. Furthermore, from immersing himself with a wide areay of music, his musicality is also honed as well as his ability to recognize the tune and pitch of any song almost instantly and by 2nd nature. One good example is the first vid for "All That I Ask". He only knew the tune of the 1st verse and chorus. When the 2nd verse was playing, he sinply followed the melody from the 1st verse. However, when the bridge came, he wasn't familiar with the melody, and so he stopped. Another example, this time showcasing his stability and control, is the 2nd vid, "Just The Way You Are". The mic he was using wasn't actually condensed. Hence, there was no way of hiding any other sound (like his breathing, the ambient noise or the feedback from the speakers). Also, during the Dubai Expo 2020, despite the lack of an ear monitor, he was able to adjust his pitch and deliver notes like any other normal performance. He was also able to discern when someone from his group was in need of assisting and support, and comes to their rescue with his angelic voice 💖

I think the best testaments come from his group mates: the awe and admiration they have for his range and stability. They go on an on about his ability to dance and sing at the same time, Pablo and Ken in particular totally fanboy over him during rehearsals and recording sessions.

A big part also is the singing culture of the philippines, filipinos daily life is like a real life musical and we can't go through to our day without singing and also definitely KARAOKE/VIDEOKE every household has it so we get to practice the songs over over again so most singer here already practice the popular song right now or classic songs, the artist are ready to sing it to you. Most of the songs that filipino sings in the karaoke are the ballads from 70s, 80s, 90s where the artist from those era's are big belters and probably the reason why most filipinos are a STORYTELLER type of a singer.

I remembered this🤣🤣🤣 Ken was literally begging. To think that Stell was about 2-3 meters away from the mic but it was still picking up his voice.🥰

A big part also is the singing culture of the philippines, filipinos daily life is like a real life musical and we can't go through to our day without singing and also definitely KARAOKE/VIDEOKE every household has it so we get to practice the songs over over again so most singer here already practice the popular song right now or classic songs, the artist are ready to sing it to you.
Most of the songs that filipino sings in the karaoke are the ballads from 70s, 80s, 90s where the artist from those era's are big belters and probably the reason why most filipinos are a STORYTELLER type of a singer.
