You wouldn't believe how deep this word resonates. Every single video I've watched lately or devotion I've read has been about pride, planning, expectations, so on. I am trusting a loving God today who is always there for me when I turn to Him. He removes people from my life. I thought that they were supposed to be in my life for a long time, but I was wrong. They were there to teach me something and that was their purpose. When I truly rely on God amazing things happen in my life. Talking about timely!! Perfect for the morning my husband and I were having based on my expectations. I am in the hospital recovering from a vicious tooth ache and infection and all I want my husband to do is go get beads so I can work from the hospital. But I’m sure resting is better he continues to say to me and I get very angry and start fussing about how it helps and I’m going home in the morning and he says use that energy I have now to be fully ready and restored when I finally get home and I’ll be super ready but I was just thinking if I could get a head start and I just heard this message and now I hear God telling me to actually rest like my husband has been saying because God has been so active in our lives and so good to us. So.... one of the many msgs I got from this sermon is. God crushes our self excused pride and human erogance by sometimes making us humble ourselves before our perceived pride and erogance of other people.
I’m from Alabama living in Miami and the culture difference is REAL. Lots of rude ppl unfortunately. My wife is from Brazil and I keep telling her that not all Americans are this rude lol
Florida folks are sooo different. The culture shock is real. I’m a northner living in Tampa and I experienced this too! Please tell her to look at God and bless those that need to experience Him! In Jesus name!
