Just to clarify who the musicians were on this version, it was myself, Ron keel, Bryan Jay, Kenny Chaisson and Steven Riley on drums. Dwain Miller joined the band after we recorded The Right To Rock album but was credited with 'additional drums'
And we actually did release some new material this year in the form of a single called Moving Target which appears on the recently-released album KeelWorld
I have to tell you,,,,you guys are just sweetest couple! You both seem like such good people and that certainly comes across your vid,s What a pleasure to watch you !
Check out the band Steeler, their song Hot on your Heels. Play close attention to the spaceship lift off at 2:27. Early 80's brilliance from Y. Malmsteen.
Yikes! Man I'm old, I had this album I was 19 when I bought this when I was 18, a senior in high school with their first album came out! You know you're old when I start mentioning: albums, ep's,45's, 78's,8 tracks, and reel to reels! My mother would never let me grow out my hair, but she let me go to concerts! My first concert was Black Sabbath and the Mob Rules Tour Ronnie James Dio was the lead vocalist and The Outlaws was the opening band. Great times with my high school friends! Mom, You Rock! My Dad kinda did, except with Jazz, Classical, and Opera! I can still remember my dad yelling, Karl turn that s***down! At least he didn't say off! R.I.P. Pops!
I actually prefer Ron's voice over Rob's...they both have a great high register but Ron's lower register has more grit to me. This entire album is SO good. I have one more song off of it on my battle list. Thanks for the reaction Geno & Tasha!
Right to Rock is better but that is a very underrated album. Put it in a category with Autograph, Y&T, and Princess Pang as underrated. I really wish I could get someone to react to Princess Pang. Like a Cinderella style with a female singer. Trouble in Paradise might be the best album you've never heard of.
You've done doobie brothers before. But the version below is tremendous. These men in their 70's. During the craziness these past 4 years. All confined in their homes. Made this rendition. Point being. America what are you doing. Take it to the streets. Amazing the quality of performance at that age. Best rendition in my opinion. th-cam.com/video/VF9Olsay3j0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9qvPCnMztDB8Dznl
Why'd you use "The Right to Rock" artwork? lol. If Keel would've kept this mindset, they'd have been legends. Problem is that Ron Keel had the same psychosis as Don Dokken, never believing in what he was doing and chasing what everyone else was doing.
@@independenceltd. the only Keel album i ever owned was Right to Rock. Must've also been on a release before Right to Rock? Keel came thru at the worst possible time. Music was changing. Metallica Megadeth and thrash were gaining speed and I think Guns and Roses released Appetite in this era and grunge wasn't far behind. Killed "Hair Metal"
Speed Demon appeared on 3 different albums (3 different versions): Shrapnel's US Metal Volume 4, Lay Down The Law (also on Shrapnel) and The Right To Rock
