We got nailed here in cape breton and landfall was made just down in canso and my next door neighbors wind gage siad 186km winds some people are still without power as of today just glad everyone is safe and nlfd got hit bad as well my heart goes out to everyone and all power workers

The place looks good it looks really nice glad you left what you did and got rid of the dangerous trees I had an idea of those Lantern on top of the posts there are longer balcony or walkway porch area it would be awesome if you pipe those up to be propane or natural gas so you wouldn't have to mess with a candle in each one of those wouldn't that be nice to be able to just flip a switch and put a little candle light on each one of those posts and turn it off I think that would be awesome it would set up I'm beyond like no other glad you made it through the hurricane don't need any more of those

What are your plans for that point area that looks like it could be a lot of different things it would be awesome to build a very large gazebo out there fire pit maybe a dock it would be awesome if you built the land up between the cottage and the point so that you couldn't see you know race the ground level in the middle there about 20 ft over a hump to get to the point giant rocks would be cool

Sounds like you might need to pick up a spare 100/gal tank you can strap into your bed during storm work. Unless of course that would mean you need placards with the two tanks.

If you want to invest you do it in land, commercial, services. Things that generate income. You don't want to pore to much of your saving into housing. It could cost you long term.
