I was struck by many things, but Greg’s humility really stood out. He had a vision from the get go for that log, mentioned it several times, but his idea didn’t get implemented. He didn’t get cranky or insistent, just humbly accepted the change and honored the artist who placed the log elsewhere. This speaks volumes about his character and professionalism. ❤

Nothing on TH-cam has ever affected me like this series of videos. I think my reaction comes from seeing the love and gratitude Laura shows to everyone around her. It's the joy in her eyes and face that fills me---it just makes me happy. What a reward I have received by subscribing to GA a few years ago. I never expected to feel like a friend to someone I'll never meet. It's been my honor to be able to watch, enjoy and receive such a blessing from "just a new pond". Thank you Laura, Aaron, and all who helped create this experience.

It all happened, is happening, so quickly! And Laura is used to project stretching out over many months, if not years, with trenches and unfinished brickwork and whatnot. I imagine she is blown away by this startling transformation in three days!!! I realize, of course, months were spent in the planning stages, and organizing materials and gathering the people for the build...but in just three days it was created. My gosh, it's like a new planet landed in the garden!

Wow! When I think back and remember the boxwoods/formal garden, which in itself was beautiful, and how hard it was to let go of that, I think there is a life lesson in this for all of us. I wonder how often we miss the amazing blessings waiting for us because we won’t let go of the past. Thank you so much for taking us along on this wonderful adventure! Yasss! I live off the coast and there are always discussions about the plants (oil and gas) taking more of our wetlands. I didn’t even realize how important they are until I discovered Aquascape, especially Ed the Professor. I wish our local schools would build them on their property so that kids could get hands on experience and teaching about the environment.
The talent of all the people who helped take the barren land and change it into a majestic pond is magic! The love these people have putting their energy into this construction was so evident! The moment the pond came to life with Benjamin plugging the cords together, will never be forgotten by him. I’m sure your family will enjoy this forever! I can’t wait to see the final tour! So in love with this pond and all of the artists that participated in bringing it together. When I saw Laura’s fb page with Benjamin swimming in the pond, I thought, did I miss something? It’s incredible Laura, and I’m so happy for you, Aron, and the kidos. GA is the first thing I watch in the mornings. Mostly because of Laura’s knowledge, and her love of gardening. ( Of course getting to see the kids everyday or so doesn’t hurt either😅

It's so hard to believe the pond was just built. It looks like it has been there forever! What talented people. Benjamin could go to work for any of them. He is such a natural, jumps right in and helps. He is one special young man. Love how Greg always includes him.
Truly a work of art. It looks so natural. The outline shape of the pond is beautiful with all its curves and irregularity. The chiseling of the rocks to tweak how the water flows from the waterfall is the mark of true artisans who care. They put their heart and soul into their creations.

Laura you had me in tears seeing how much you humbly appreciated all these people and the amazing job they’ve done. I’m so impressed with Greg’s attitude and care for your whole family, especially Benjamin. Brian really did have an amazing design plan and all the folks working really are artists making this come to life, including you Laura and Aaron in your plant choices and placement. The stone walkway will be incredible. This has truly been a memory starting experience with thousands more to come. With all of the new trees I can just imagine what Paul and Bethany and Aaron will do with this at Christmas with lights. So exciting for you all and for everyone watching.

I must be way too emotional! I am a big fan of all Aquascape and Garden Answer and really excited that our local Brothers Water Gardens was there! But when I watched you and Benjamin plug in the waterfall, I just started crying tears of joy. You guys work so hard on your videos and your property and loving your children and this is well deserved. Greg, Brian and the rest of the Aquascape team have such a passion for building eco friendly ponds and waterfalls that it is so nice to see them on your channel. Well done everyone!
Billy at Brothers Water Gardens is HUGELY talented - don't get me wrong, every single one of those CACs are - but HE is a "rookie" CAC, and he has jumped in with both feet and honestly...the 1st pond he built (for himself as an amateur) was better than MANY guys that've been building them for years. Keep an eye out...he will be THE guy for water features in your neck of the woods in no time.

I know what you mean. I needed to be out before it gets too hot to work in my garden but I had to wait and see todays video first.
No doubt Samantha will equally enjoy the pond and what is placed in consideration for Benjamin will be the same for Samantha. I think because Benjamin was around initially and being a boy who loves construction equipment he made a greater impact. Once Samantha became involved she was having a great time in the water. Kudos to this crew of people who helped this family realize their dream and bringing it to fruition.

The pond takes me back to sweet childhood memories spending summers in the mountains, damming up the creek, dragging dead trees to make bridges across the creek, catching frogs (big and little), getting soaking wet then lying on the rocks to dry and watching clouds and talking and laughing about nothing. 70 years ago life was so much simpler for children and we had the time of our lives ♥ Thank you, Aaron and Laura because as I watch your children, they are loving life the way children should. Thank you for taking us along most every day to share in your joy ♥

When I was a kid, I would spend time on my grandparents' farm. There was a natural pond the sheep used to drink from. We would play in the water and then bask in the sun on the banks. I can imagine Benjamin and Samantha Grace having such wonderful times and creating such lasting memories. What a gift that you and Aaron have given your family. Water is life! The pond is absolutely incredible. I know Laura isn’t a cryer but I could tell this really touched her heart. I had tears for crying out loud! When I first heard the plan to incorporate berms… I thought uh oh. I know Laura has said multiple times that she’s not a fan for her own garden because they aren’t natural in her landscape, but oh my, it is beautiful! I think letting the experts loose with their vision is always the right call! When you are an artist (and Laura is absolutely a plant artist!) you are always a little self critical, but when you see someone else’s vision beautifully executed it is absolutely magical! Congratulations on a wonderful new garden destination, the kids are going to LOVE it!
I know the feeling Laura. I had an aquascape pondless waterfall installed in the summer of 2020 after my mental health took a nose dive from working in the COVID-19 units in the hospital (I’m an RN). It still remains the best big purchase I’ve ever made. Still love it to this day.

I was involved in a couple Build-a-pond days with Greg from Aquascapes and Tom Smith of Garden State Koi, in the early 2000's. It was great fun and I love how they work with biology and create balance.
They are still building amazing ecosystems. I'm loving the wetlands area! Bravo, to everyone involved!

From trepidation of removing boxwoods & a broken fountain to a glorious pond. What a transformation. The design is perfection. The rocks, wood, water & plants are in harmony. Nature's elements at their best. 🌱😊
Our man-made pond has matured so wonderfully. We were able to incorporate a stream because of the elevation of the back part of our property. The rocks are now covered with moss and when the sunlight filters thru the nearby tree...ahhh, magic. It draws wildlife to it because of the sound of the water. We have frogs every year who make it home. Enjoy the process of watching your pond age to perfection.

What I have loved out of watching these is watching Benjamin being included the entire time. He has been so present in the videos. U really are wonderful parents. Lots would have had the kids out of the way as it would have been easier.
I love how involved Benjamin was. He will be a "Chip off the old block" . You and Aaron have definitely taught through modelling.
The pond is spectacular, and Benjamin was so cute when helping shovel dirt. Adorbs. Laura, I can see how grateful you were when you hugged Brian. So sweet.
It truly is MAGIC, the insight these pond builders have to create these works of art is nothing but amazing. To watch it all come together has been such a pleasure to watch. I can feel the excitement & feel the emotions while viewing different scenes IE: Laura getting emotional...instant tears for me....Benjamin shovelling with the "big" guys...what a memory this will be for him...seeing Samantha & Laura in the water....moving all the plants...dirt too....T'is a beautiful thing....this pond won't be just a pond, it will be a gathering place for years to come....yearly photos of the children growing up....excellent background for photo shoots...that seating area....the shade....it's a wonderful work of art created by all these folks who have come together to support Laura & Aaron....what a treasure....Such a treat for all us GA followers who wish only the best for all!! ♥

I too was brought to tears by this project and result. And as a person who grew up on a lake and is a rock hound and gathered old died and drift wood, this pond is gorgeous and speaks to my love of nature! Those pine trees and all the other plants and the fact that it's all natural and involves the eco system.... oh my. ♥ This is a great gift to your children for appreciating and learning about nature. And for fun of course. 😊

PS: who knew a birch tree could climb into a pond. Leaves very interesting images in my head of an anthropomorphic tree carrying a glass of wine with a towel over one branch settling itself to sit on that log on the edge. 😅😂🤣

This pond is the crowning jewel of this property for sure. Amazed at the amount of material it takes to do this. Every detail is covered so well and the efforts of so many coming together in just 3 days to make a flat ground into something looking like it was designed by mother nature and had always been there. Looking forward to seeing the water settle and fish introduced as the next leg of the journey.

I think the rocks added in the pathway leading to the pond helped solidify a more natural look for the pond as well! Whomever came up with that idea did a good job! It looks amazing and I can’t wait to see water plants and fish. Congratulations on this project!
