a better solution is just do what wow does, once you pick up a piece of gear, automatically tick [x] true to that piece of gear on your account, and then whenever you want, use any piece of gear you have found, no need to bog the game down with storage info of each character, just current character glam data
and that should free up some data storage space for a few more plates at leasst
It's weird that the plates themselves are so restrictive. Seems like they're stored server-side on your character's data and I'm guessing this is so your plates stay synced between systems if you play on multiple computers or so people don't somehow cheat items that they don't have on a plate.... but if they just gave us an unlimited amount and made it client-side instead, they could just.... add a check for whether your character actually owns something when you try to apply it, and add an export/import function?
@@TerryVideoZone wouldnt even have to make it client side, wow has a similar system, except once you pick up an item, its stored on your character (maybe even account so all characters can use it?) if they implimented a similar system, it would free up a lot of space that they have to use for character data when you have to hold onto the item or put it in a dresser for it to work
if they did take another page from wow in this sense, then the changing of gears appearance would become 100% client side other than storing who picked up what, and lets be real, they reuse a lot of the same outfits, so a lot of the data could likely be compressed down that way too
The discard feature needs improvement we should discard by multiple and not one item at a time
The inventory and storage system as a whole needs an overhaul imo
what they have in world of warcraft i thought was helpful of having a dungeon/raid boss guide that shows all the attacks and all the item drops so you can maybe see the item what it looks like and where to get it
I would also like blacklist blocking people entering your house. Also allow FC's to have blacklists so people can't enter their residences. I think with the cloud server system, they add 2 additional subdivisions to existing wards, and then slowly add new wards. Those tools that some people can use to decorating their house... SHOULD BE IN THE GAME. :S And yes put Rival Wings in roullettes >.< As for the cash store, I think they should sell quality and quantity, as in drop prices and put more things on there. I don't mind if they did that as long as they didn't stop putting beautiful gear in game.
The fact that if you block or report someone that you were once friends and they can still see your location and pick you out of a crowd is so crazy to me given SE's kinda heavy handed TOS. You can get banned for calling someone an stinky poo but they allow people to actively stalk and harass other players in public and their answer is always 'Um try and avoid them?' Square HOW? They can track my every move and find out exactly what map I'm on and have my name a giant glowing orange beacon above the crowd how do I avoid them?! They can find my house and teli too it until I lock it down from everyone else. Naughty words are a no no but stalking someone to the point of forcing them off the game...thats okay and easy to do with the friendlist system! Thanks Square!~

The worst for me is definitely the inventory management. At the very least anything you wear should not ALSO take up inventory space. I'd also appreciate more unlocks being account-wide.
But I've been spoiled by Guild Wars 2 in those respects. Gw2 is pretty superior for me in the "glam" system and management. Though I find a lot of ffxiv outfits themselves way cooler looking.
There's more, but those are my biggest beefs with the game. I really love it too, the only subscription game I've found that's worth it, even though I still hate that lol.

Could you go into more detail about how the glam system works in GW2 and the things you like in that aspect? I tried playing it back in 2014 and the glam/looks of gear and having basically the same gear even when I was lvl 80 with a Necro put me off.

I don't think its really changed much, if you're asking after what I think you are. And it's one of the things I love about GW2. I still don't use materia cause it just, confuses me so much. I don't care for thinking too hard about stats at all.
There's the 'wardrobe' and the 'outfits'.
'Outfits' can be worn over any armor and cover the whole body. You can dye them. But it's kind of a set look.
The 'Wardrobe' requires transmutation charges. Similar to glamor prisms and changing the look of gear.
You're able to hide gloves, headgear, backpiece, and shoulders.
What I like most is that it doesn't take up inventory. And any armor or weapons you aquire, the moment you bind them to you, are unlocked as wardrobe pieces right away.
You go to the 'hero panel' aka character screen. That has EVERYTHING. Dyes, wardrobe unlocks, outfits, chairs, mounts, gliders, other novelties and toys and unlockables. I can't really do it justice with a comment.
Uh, as for stats, there's like this bew rune thing? I'm really not the person to ask on that front. I adore GW2 combat system. No buttons or abilities taken away ever. Group content across all levels is easy peasy. I just, GW2 is such a different style of mmo. I've loved it for over 11 years, all the way to GW1.
Ffxiv scratches one itch for me, GW2 another. For me, each satisfies where the other either fails or falls short. In some things they're equal, but it's like, they're both ice cream which I love but each a different flavor.
I hope this helped at all. I do recommend looking elsewhere for something more in depth though ^^

I also don't care about stats and any of that I just care about looking good but also having fun with my class and actually know how to play it, too cumbersome classes with long rotations that I have to memorize like in 14 I don't do well with. I enjoyed GW2 from what I remember, the music, the views, under water combat, classes can't say much cause I don't remember and story either. I don't think I could handle another MMO BUT maybe who knows give it a shot again could be in the books. Is there like a system where you can get "tome" gear there for each level cap or just an easy way where you just exchange a currency for it, I remember trying to learn crafting in GW2 to get "cool" gear and boy that was a mess for me, I also don't craft in 14 cause it's just not my thing so that's why I'm asking.

Oh neat! I'm glad it's helpful. I really love GW2. I hope if you get back into it you can really enjoy it this time. I need to do some story catch up myself actually lol. Well, for the most recent stuff. I love GW2 story, and the fact that my character is FULLY VOICED. Adds SO much for me. WoL being voiceless is fun too and kinda hilarious, but I just, love having that voice. Makes me feel alive and real. Male sylvari is my main ^-^
I'm not a big craft person, but I'd say ffxiv is much better in terms of... flavor? Crafting. Like it's very immersive and fun rp wise with the quests and the little tables etc you get. But the specific condition gathering is awful imo and a nightmare.
GW2 crafting is very simple. There's no gathering spec, you just buy tools. Some are better than others and some which you can buy with reql money, are infinite. I enjoy both crafters, but for ffxiv it's rp wise, for Gw2 it's 'click button make complete good' smooth brain haha. There are even some hubs that have every crafter station in one space. You gotta go collect stuff via just, mostly naturally playing the game but, imo GW2 crafting is WAY simpler.
I wouldn't say there's anything tombstone equivalent. You can get armor in a myriad of ways. Whether that's WvW, I'm exchange for dungeon currency, the events throughout the world, the black lion trading post (market board equivalent), etc.
Funnily enough I'd say GW2 armor is WAY more "glam" centric (known as Fashion-Wars) in its mission. You have.. different 'types'. Such as 'rare' 'masterwork' 'exotic' and 'legendary'. I know recently legendary gear got a lot more accessible than it was before. But it's only real difference is its glam capabilities compared to exotic gear (which I think is the level just below legendary). Exotic can basically get you through everything as long as you have the right stats.
The nice thing about legendary, is it costs ZERO transmutation charges to change its appearance. Its base appearance animates when you go in and out of combat. And you can switch around it's stats at will without requiring new or destroying old runes.
That's my rough understanding of these things. Oh, there's also the mystic forges which is it's own weird thing in crafting lol. But now I'm exhausted, glad to help.
I have an addition I would like to make to your points, specifically about the Glamour Dresser, and it involves the Armoire. I want them to expand the Armoire to allow more stuff. They did that before with allowing Mogstation purchases, but I feel this has potential for further addition and I want more. Specifically...
-Any piece of gear with no stats other than basic armor (examples, the Alpine Coat you get before taking dinner with Aymeric in Heavensward, Tataru's gift gear (the Scion Adventurer, Scion Traveler and Wayfarer outfits)
-The various animal costumes (Namazu Head, Gaja Head and Suit, Toad Head and Suit, etc.)
-Glamour gear you can buy from the Allied Tribes (Vanu outfit, Blue Kojin outfit, Vath outfit, etc.)
-The NPC clothing you can buy from the Gold Saucer
-All artifact armors both dyable and not (at least expand this to include the i-Level 90 ARR artifact gear and the dyable versions of the i-Level 50 ARR artifact gear)
-Racial starting gear
-The various armor pieces that drop from Eureka (Emperor Hairpin, Scorpion Harness, Strider Boots, etc)
-Accessories like the Mad Bird Ring, Brand New Ring, Meteor Survivor Ring
...and so on I feel should be able to be put in the Armoire.
And yeah, give us more glamour plate slots. We're about to get more full combat jobs than we have Glamour Plate slots, maybe expand that to, say, 50? 30 at least?

For anyone hunting the seal rock glam your best chance is during moogle tomes events. Frontlines becomes a tiny bit better because of the amount of people farming tomes can outweigh the win traders and premades
I felt like the premades got worse during those times. Just nothing but premades of DRK and AST cheesing entire fights and snowballing to victory.
It's gets worse bc people don't have to win to get their tombs. Then they font try and win
pvp is a joke in this game. I honestly don't know how it's made it this far into the game's lifespan

Okay, the thing with the marriage ring still working for the other party to teleport to you is kinda messed up, but as mentioned the friend/black list system in general as some severe issues I wasn't aware of (like how they can still track you/pester you no matter what).

It gets even better (and by better I mean worse). You know how characters have a page on the Lodestone? The link to the character is permanent, so if you have the link to someone's Lodestone page it doesn't matter if they change server or their character name, the link will not change.
Being a Lalafell player, I went out of my way to make my entire squadron Lalafells. I affectionately refer to them collectively as the 'Tater Tots.' Is a shame that they don't let you select your squadron members for ARR and HW trusts.

As someone who has blisted someone they were married to. They can still teleport to me after I remarried & transferred to a new server/data center. If they come into the server I am in their ring still works 😅 and yes, they have done it! Many times!

On the topic of housing, I’d like to have a Recompense Officer for furnishings. Or at LEAST an armoire for furnishings like that. Some way of storing a bunch for possible later use.

Omg yes please especially for seasonal furnishing items!! I want to buy several of them for future use, like when they added the ice wall and ceiling, but it just eats up inventory/retainer/store room slots.
@@chickennugget6684honestly the store room is very small for if you're creating more complex designs in a house. One of my retainers holds a bunch of my seasonal furnishings cause my store room is full. The worst is the outdoor furnishing store room though, 20 slots and they keep giving us seasonal furnishings that can be used outdoors even though they've not increased the cap. And there's no way of getting the furnishings back if you discard them so they just pile up.
@@chickennugget6684 The problem is for people like me that would like to buy several housing decorations to use for decorating the next year. If I had space, I'd have bought about a dozen of the Starlight banners and double banners to hang all over the house. But I don't have space for them in storage and my current retainers are full or other things.
All for account wide items from the mogstation. The other thing I would I like to see from it is the option to buy an individual piece from a set. The glam overall could be atrocious, but that one piece within set that could compliment so much for other glams. Definitely would like more glam slots.
I agree with a lot of those things you mentioned. In Square Enix's defense, I think the reason they cap the tomestones at 450 weekly is to prevent people from gearing up too quickly, to try make the new raid content last longer. I do agree it would be nice if you had a "Weekly Class Tomestone Cap" where you could only collect 450 Tomestones on Tanks, Healers, Mage DPS, Range DPS, and Melee DPS separately weekly, would be pretty nice. Highly unlikely it'll ever happen though. :(
I absolutely agree, housing is terrible, it was so much better before lottery camping for 50 hours without any sleep and even than pray to god u have the better clicker bot to win against other 20 campers for a large house. Jep jep that's a good point...
Oh the dark days
As a new player I was extremely confused on how to get to Captain and then how to get passed it. Was sadden to find out Captain is the highest after some internet sleuthing :( so I abandon the whole thing after getting Captain status. Those NPCs are still rotting in that back room to this day. Excited to see more new content from you!
I would like the option to save all my hud settings into my account and transfer them to alts. Also tokens for things like savage raids and criterion that take up inventory space to have its own currency.
I second the HUD settings transfer! It sucked having to set stuff up on both of my alts all over again and I swear I had to go back and forth between my main and alts just to get things to how I'm used to. They have it between PS4/PS5, why not literally on your account?
imagine if we could friend our alts? So we could use mail to move items around?
Or just be able to combine all the inventory of our characters on a server.
WoW is doing something kinda like that with their upcoming expansions.
Somehow, there are currently 19 combat jobs (22 if you want to count Dawntrail), 8 crafting jobs, and 3 gathering jobs, and yet only 20 glamour plates to use. I have so many concepts I want to flex on but I can't because I frankly just don't have the room. They were able to get a portait set up for every gearset (despite it being a finicky, somewhat broken mess), why not have a glamour plate for every gearset too?
I may be misremembering but I'm pretty sure every step of relics has a stage with glow and without glow. If you want a relic without glow just use the replica version of the non glow?
Off the top of my head i got 2 things to add:
- settings management. If i want to adjust anything in my game i need to google it first where to find this settings option
- it's a minor complaint, but... more character customization options. Especially for Au'ra, because i can't comprehend why the horns options are attached to specific faces and are not a separate slider..
The game has a huge amount of settings you can change, it's actually great...but it's confusing as hell and finding what you wanna change and change it exactly the way you want it will require a degree....

I swear I didn't use BDTH to decorate my home. Promise. Pay no attention to the partitions floated below the floor in my basement. I used a glitch only I know about, it's a secret.
i was a viera for like, 8ish months and i finally switched back to my catgirl. the helmet thing wasn't an issue for a long time but the more i played the more i got into glams. all i could really do was wear a stupid bow on my head or a flower. it's so strange to me how they only made certain helmets work. just let the ears poke out. cats get ear gloves for almost every helmet in the game it can't be that much more effort to let your ears clip through a helmet. what do i know though
The way Star Wars Old Republic with their inventory system is 10/10 for me
once you buy something from their store you can unlock it for YOUR WHOLE ACCOUNT and you can just spawn it for your characters whenever and as many times as you want

So a few things I wanna add:
1. Expand the glamour plate system to NPC like retainers, max level custom delivery clients, squad members ect.
2. Allow us to summon our squad as companions, as well as expanding the companion system.
3. Add the ranks but give us much cooler gear to represent our GC's.
on the topic of Roulletes, I just wish they merged cap dungeon roullete and expert roullete and then replaced the capstone dungeon roullete with a Variant dungeon roullete.

Cross-DC PF (maybe using cloud server instances, as long as within the same geographic region) to help alleviate the concentration of raid pf on certain servers. More PVP roulettes for sure. Bring Bicolors down to at least heavensward so you can buy mob drops in bulk. Provide a valid use-case for vitality pots. Old culinarian recipes should have a use beyond RP or levelling- maybe a minigame to turn in a specific one or a way to "upgrade" older recipe to a new consumable. Extend macro length to like 50 lines it's too damn short at 15. A real functional weapon showcase for houses that isn't a dummy. Glam plate for every loadout slot. Cost per tome piece decreases with each purchase. Better guidance tools for PVP such as the old "jump this target" timer or big flashing "go here" markers. Removal of the "Retreat" quick chat action. Free placement of housing items within instanced housing. Fishing tackle box inventory. Token items (books, coins etc) go in key items bag. Leve turn-ins may be repeated for DoH jobs or else in bulk. Ability to treat and fertilize all garden plot slots at the same time. Independent furniture storage.
I would love an notification when friends go online or offline. Though that would be optional in the UI settings. Also a free company board placed in the major cities for people to send applications into FCs they're interested in. Tired of the shout chat ads, and people having to put up a PF to advertise their FC in the other channel.
I wish they could combine retainer ventures, squardons and island sanctuary stuff together.
16:00 So, regarding WoW's transmog system, it's actually getting another upgrade soon - the ability to unlock the appearance for any armor/weapons you get on any character you have. No more "you can't learn that" problems if you get a cloth robe on a plate-wearer or vice-versa. Which not necessarily applicable to FFXIV, an equivalent here would be having an account-wide Glamour Dresser, regardless of which character, server, or data center you're on.
As excited as I am for the double dye addition coming in 7.0, it doesn't solve the problem that we still don't have that many colors of dye in the first place.
yeah true that. always just dyed everything soot black and some kind of red. i never really liked how all the higher end dyes are metallic and super shiny.
one thing i hate is how much they use "its hard to code" as an excuse not to implement basic things. just shows how much spaghetti code is in the game
I wish they’d make the small house floors a bit bigger, they’re just too small to do much with. Also they should make different sized apartments, still only one floor but give people some options over the studio sized apartment

Half of the housing plots on Sagittarius are still not taken. More than half if you could the FC wards as well. Also the final wards that were released sometime this year, yeah they are still not available for us because of how empty our current wards are. :)
Yeah, in the same server with my EU character. Problem is that everyone wants medium/large houses and the vast majority are smalls; I'm convinced the players of the server are playing a waiting game of who caves and buys a small, just so they can have a bidding chance on the wards that will open up later.
@@Karloss00Sadly even for mediums there's like no competition. There were 2 mediums available on my ward (Shiro, subdivision) and each one of them has only one bid. There was a large as well, large which had about 8 bids only. Everything just feels dead.

GW2 and FFXIV both have the joke that glam/fashion Wars 2 is the end game, but both games have fairly lackluster transmogrification systems. GW2 with transmute charges or requiring legendary armor, and limited glamour slots. 20 isn't even close to enough.

Though fr, after going through the old housing system and getting my house after 6 entire days of mad clicking the placard, the lottery system is a godsent and was something heavily requested by the community back then. It could be better, but with how jank FFXIV's systems can be, it's unfortunately one of the best they've done in terms of changes.

I honestly...don't actually watch that much ffxiv content to begin with and I knew of you cos your vids were getting shared around and I was like haha this guy fuhnee. It would be great having a way to distinguish/organize plates without needing to click on each and everyone of them. I keep on forgetting which glam plate goes where, and I usually have to go through all of them before I find the right one everytime I upgrade my gear for a class... imagine having more plates! Maybe color-code the tabs would be easy (like, you can use blue for tank outfits, red for melee, green for healers, yellow for ranged, purple for mages... and other colors for casual outfits n stuff).
I dont remember how but in character tab where you switch jobs, you can bind plates to specific jobs. For example if you are in city and you switch to black mage it will automatically equip glamor plate 1, warrior plate 2 and so on.
Reminder that blue mage only got a single carnivale stage after waiting for over 2 years. They didn't even get another achievement mount for clearing omega and eden savage. But you can get shadowkeeper mount from the store!!!!

The seal rock coat has been the bane of my existence. I’m still missing 4 wins and it’s been so painful.
They could make an expansion revolved around the Grand Companies to revive the squadrons and ranks... it could be called Battle for Eorzea, and there could be a crystal dwarf who rambles about something called Eorzerite that you put in your necklace... wait a second...
If you made frontlines two teams, it would be worse. Once a team loses the first fight, half the team would give up and just want to go next. 3 teams lets you make a comeback while other teams fight.
Even if your team didn’t give up; you’re still talking about playing on a clearly worse team that has no real chance of comeback. If you lost a 30v30, you won’t suddenly easily win a 30v30 while the other team is set up in a defensive formation

Also would love to be able to change FC member name plate colors like we can change our self, party, alliance and everyone else’s name plate color
I would love some world restoration. It annoys me that places we saved will be just ruins forever. Would love something like an Eorzea restoration where certain places in certain zone could be restored. And this ties with having new content in zones of older expansions.
Also gives us a way to see the name of the mount people are using, it could easily just be hovering the status info mounted
i only found out about the friends list deletion recently and im still so baffled, there's definitely some people i dont want to interact with anymore yet still interact with me D: and yeh the grind to the field commanders coat is something else, you can get a really lucky day or a bad one and its rough. finally got it back in nov after starting ffxiv around march but i wish playing frontlines could be better somehow, i just dont know how i would change it
Guild wars2 has a similar glamour system to WoW, Once you unlock a skin or dye you can put it onto any weapon or armour of the same type for ANY character you have.
Changing a Weapon or Armour's look does use transmutation charges, however Legendary armour and weapons have no cost to transmute.
Unlocked Dyes have infinite uses and are free to apply, so you don't have to keep buying the same dyes. I find it strange in FF14 I have to re-buy dyes to dye my armour.
I don't know why they don't make it so each maxed job has its own separate tomestone cap. Also, cross-job glams are a no brainer, they should get on that ASAP.
I still like Zepla's idea of a "frequent flyer's discount".
The idea being that kitting out the first job still takes time, but it goes quicker and quicker for every subsequent job.

This might sound strange, but I want more optional dungeons. We only had 2 in Endwalker with Smileton and the Dreamscape and both were really fun, and this could also help fix the Expert Roulette issue
People are complaining about not enough friends list slots and here I am with like five friends after two years, and three of them are people I knew before I started playing. 😂

My biggest gripe coming to FF14 as a lost ark player with the glamour system was that there's not a lot of customization for the outfits with the dyes. I really love the freedom to modify an outfit in lost ark where you could individually target separate sections of a gear and colour/put patterns on them individually. Whether you give them a sexy leopard print on a bikini (animal print is not sexy but I have seen it happen too frequently as an appeal) or whether you make a clown out of a badass outfit, you had the freedom to do so with dyes.
In FF14 the best you can do is recolour some parts and that's it. Very underwhelming.
For friends list notes, it's not great, but I use the assignable friend group icons for that. Each icon means a different general thing in my head, so I can have an idea of where I'm supposed to know someone from. Actual notes would be nice, though.
I'm very glad to hear and see that the various day life video did well, I liked the vid and honestly am considering getting the game myself. Reminds me a lot of Etrian Odyssey.

On the friends list, I would appreciate a global/account wide friends list. Like, if I add someone I can see when they're on alts and vice versa
Hot take but glamouring being that you need to have the gear piece you want to use in your dresser is in my opinion just fine. It insentivives people to go do different content again and again if the needed to make room for other glams and then later on want to use the old discarded piece again :D But I do get people would want it to be more simple!
So just a heads up, getting a house on Dynamis isnt as easy as he makes it out to be.
From personal experience, my alt on Dynamis had trouble getting an FC house. How you might ask? Legit there were two FCs in the same ward that tried to outbid my FC on the plot. Just because they didnt want us there. Dynamis has a lot of those people so just be careful if you are looking at housing on Dynamis.
I took about 6 months off FF14 and I'm back and everything feels so much fun again!

They really need to bring back the claim slip system for storing gear from FF11. How it worked was, once you had all the items from a gear set, you could take them to a moogle and trade them for a single claim slip. It was great for decluttering your inventory, and allowed you to hold onto gear that you were saving for use with other jobs.

The housing situation is even worse than you describe. Walls, Doors, and Partitions that are supposed to be apart of the same sets (i.e. Alpine/Riviera/Oasis/Glade/Marble) almost NEVER match up in color OR texture. If you put a Riviera Doorway next to a Blank Riviera Partition the textures for the walls don't even match up, the railings are a dozen pixels off from one another. The colors for the Marble Archway, Marble Partition, and Curved Marble Partition all use DIFFERENT color grades when it comes to the dyes. So the SAME dye on two different objects from the SAME set of furnishing won't match. There is absolutely no consistency or maybe just a complete lack of oversight in the furnishings the devs create.
EDIT: I would also ask that Yoshi and the Devs give us the ability to toggle the ability to eat the food and drink in houses on and off as well as give us more options when it comes to allowing people to come into our estates. Allow us to blacklist specific players or only allow FC members or friends to enter instead of locking the house completely off.

Almost everything in the cash shop is massively overpriced. Nothing in there should be more expensive than a month's sub, or limited to a single character. Ironically, I'd be more inclined to spend there if it wasn't such a massive rip-off.
@@RockR277I don't even like that it exists. We already have to buy the game and pay a subscription to play on top, so I just don't think it belongs here at all.
That said, considering those circumstances, I'd be okay with such a shop selling...
a) level skips - provided you already got one job to that level,
b) story skips - solely for alts and for content you've already completed at least once on any character
c) event rewards - but only because you're too impatient to wait until the for the appropriate seasonal event.
d) finished relics - Provided you've gone through the entire process at least once for the appropriate expansion.
The premium they charge on mounts and minions is ludicrous.
Just consider their collector's editions; you pay a $20 premium per expansion for a a lone minion, a single mount, and a single piece of glamour.
Items that after about 1000 sales would cover the full cost of creating them, the database overhead, and the distribution costs for their entire lifetime; and that's after taxes!
It's got nothing I'd expect in an actual "collector's" edition either, like a digital PDF artbook.
this. glamours I think are overpriced for being one character only, but i'd be VERY inclined to make a few purchases if they were made to be account wide if i ever wanted to make a new char.
After spending 3 months to get the coveted 'Field Commander' coat, I too am in the "ta' hell with Frontlines" boat.
Mostly for the following concepts that are deeply flawed from the beginning (besides those Kougaon mentioned), serving only to make the achievement more about "who is more RNG blessed" vs. utilizing team strategy and war tactics:
* Jobs/abilities are not at all balanced. (DRK vacuum pull is OP beyond anything other tank roles offer)
* Northern most base is at a severe disadvantage with absolutely nothing but wide open terrain leaving them most exposed to "pinches" compared to the other two venues.
* PUGs are matched with Pre-made groups who have the advantage of coordinating over VC
* Lack of crack down on 'word.exe' type tools/scripts/exploits
Omg dude everything you said is so accurate. I want rival wings to be more common. I played it a couple moogle tomestone events ago and i was addicted and i cant get another match since.

What make an expert dungeon, an expert dungeon, is the fact that is a recent addition, and as such, casuals barely meet the min ilvl, making they kinda hard.
the term expert, is used in the crafting to denote that is something hard to do, albeit not as hard as extreme
there is no really point in expanding it to 3 or 4 latest dungeons imo
So, shamelessly I am going to say that ever since seeing your videos, I had to have your hairstyle for my male bunny boi! I colored it differently though haha. As for something I wish would be implemented: Remove Job restrictions from glamored gear! Why does the Tanks have some of the coolest glamours? I play mainly DPS but I want that lvl 89 warrior tank leg piece for my Reaper!!!
It would be nice if there was some things account wide cause the having to do Hildabrand's questline from the beginning on a dozen characters is a lot to ask for just for a relic.
The friends list needs a rework really bad. I would super enjoy a note system too. I dont remember half the people I add lol

Also not entirely sure about the housing system. I mean, there's the console issue but, as a pc player, even if it can be enfurianting sometimes, it's also quite satisfactory when you finally get it done😂. Maybe it's just me
My biggest problem is inventory: please, let us put all glamour sets and artifact weapons in the armoire and get a separate inventory for crafting, gathering and fishing.
I also would appreciate a way to sort vendor stuff. At least, in an alphabetical order! I remember when i started the game, finding the culinarian vendor impossible to use, doesnt make any sense
Only thing i hate is that you can't unsync ultimates so that anyone can get the rewards.
The nice part about the store is it does go back into the game
I wish they improved on the trust system by taking a feature from squadrons so you could tell the npcs who or what to attack, in this way you wouldn't have to run ahead to pull more mobs and potentially get overpowered as a DPS/healer.
Re: Friendslist: you can actually add icons at least, next to friends. It's to donate what "group" they're in. It can be a helpful way to sort between types of friends. It's something at least. I do wish they had something similar for blacklists, because blacklisting some total asshat in PF is not the same as blacklisting a person who was spamming in Limsa.The latter I'm cool with removing from the blacklist later, I just don't wanna see the spam that day.
Cash shop is pretty fair tbh. I usually wait for their 30% off sales and then get stuff, cuz there’s no rush :D

There are so many changes that I would make to FFXIV to make it better. Glams, PvP, housing, social aspects, et al. 100% agree with what you're saying here about, well, pretty much everything.
I have been bitching about the lack of space in the Glamour closet, especially since they are always adding new sets to the shop or for special events. Now if I get a new set I'm having to decide what older glam I have to get rid of. I like how WoW does the whole Glam/Transmog thing so much better.

All they have to do is server visit the same server you are on and the ring works again.
