Miss the 90s
Pas de regrets.. mais heureux d'avoir connu et vécu cette époque exceptionnelle ..
One of the few bands of the 90's that have any lasting talent.
What a great song! Jo Wiley made it her Vinyl Revival album of the week, and she played this cool track!! Sounds as good as when it first came out!
I was on a listening phase for this song back in 2017 and when I listened to it I couldn't help but uncontrollably cry but these days I can listen to it fine. Also I found this song from a south american movie about a guy who has a son but can't cope with fatherhood but I can't remember the name of that movie.
Un super morceau génialement conçu..j'adore les 2 break, vraiment classe
The Eels are AWESOME in concert!
Absolutely, if you ever get the chance to see them, do.

I'm 15 and my mum and dad listened to the eels in the car when I was around 9. This was my favourite song then. I listened to it again a few days ago and I didn't realize it was about that at all when I was younger lol. The eels are amazing I love I like birds :)
Hi! 25 years now? Do you still listen to Eels? :) genuinely curious.
Cheers!
Should have had at least a Grammy. Miss the 90’s.
Was 14 years old when this song played on the radio. One Saturday, I remember waiting for what seemed like HOURS to get through the radio commercials and other songs, JUST TO HEAR THE INTRO AND PRESS RECORD. Lol. Take me back!!!
I remember when i watch this music video back in 1997, i was mesmerized by the concept. Mark Romanek is a genius and loved the song as well very much. 😃😃
a brilliant track , a personal favourite, the time it was released and the music scene at the time were miles ahead of today ...shame stuff like this isnt more well know
just finished his autobiography "Things That Grandchildren Should Know". Great read! I basically became an Eels fan overnight :) I actually vaguely remember watching this music video when I was a kid (6-7 years old)
I love this song reminds me of how great the nineties were
My brother would agree. He's been trying to bring the 90's back...for years. Haha
Shelby Wiederkehr Did your brother build a time travel machine? :D
Cat H the last great decade for music . electro, rock, hip hop, reggae, there was so much creative !
The 80's were better.
The 90's weren't that great musically.
the sound of the snare is simply incredible..you don't espect a so funky tuning in a such kiind of music..incredible
Very theraputetic...for the soul..Great song!
Still such a Great song! I remember when i worked in a NYC Comic Shop, we could play our own music. One saturday a co-worker had this song in a mix cd. An hour later the song is still playing. It had skipped so perfectly at one point in the song near the end where it would replay the song over and over. We left it on haha
I just finished your book, this song changed after reading it.... unbelievable! It already was great but after reading the backstory, it just got so much better! Love your work E! You’re awesome!
Anyone listening to this in 2024, like me?
Just me. Everyone else is gone.
Yes,it’s a timeless classic
No I am here too. I love this song.
Yes
No, is this a scam? 🤔
"Jesus and his lawyer are coming back" that line always made me laugh!
I could listen to this on repeat...
Jeeezuss!!! Nearly 20 years ago, I feel like I'm gonna wake up tomorrow dead at this rate!! Great record, mind! :)
20 years but I feel great cause mother says I was a great mistake
3 years closer, Jimbo.. Figured out how to stop time yet?? I'd take a copy of that instruction manual..
Hope yr still kickin’ Jim 😊🤘🏼
heard this playing at a restaurant , so i popped on here by for a little nostalgic listen. one of the first CD's i ever bought.
Came searching for this video because I'm feeling old and this awesome song was an anthem of my childhood. They actually played this on MTV... Different world altogether.
And the dead are judged in the Lord. Us dark ones became light. Because we were right. I've died twice, still standing.
This was run of the mill when I was young. No joke.
this song gives me goosebumps
kind of like eels back then however don't like video as only listen to music on radio back then at this time far too busy for that shit then.
LornaEvelynn - wow you're gorgeous
I first heard this song in high school (2004 or 5ish) Such a good, simple, and catchy song. Eels are bomb!
Oh what a big tune
I am 61 and also have witnessed great music moments, this song is one of them.
Hey you should look up a band called The Doublejumps if you like Eels
I remember "discovering" their first album in a small shop. Such a different sound at the time... Now it's 2022... Amazing
