This performance of "Colorful" is about 2 hours and 12 minutes into their almost 3 1/2-hour SHINee World Concert V (SWC5) in Seoul in 2016. (They have more than an hour left of the concert, so this isn't the end.) This is almost exactly an hour after their performance of "Ring Ding Dong" and "Lucifer" that you watched from this concert. So yes, they have been performing non-stop for a very long time at this point. "Colorful" is one of the audience interaction songs they perform at most of their concerts because it's a thank you song to Shawols, so they are thanking us for being there and being a part of their success, etc. How come you watched the live concert version of "Colorful" without checking out the MV first? You really need to see the MV because it was a special holiday video that was made for Shawols to celebrate what an amazing year 2013 was, and it will help you to understand why they won artist of the year that year. You should really pair their MVs with their concert performances and not skip either one. Onew is not necessarily always "eager" to sing or perform, but because his stage name is Onew, which means calm, gentle and soft, he is expected to be bright and positive all the time. The reason why SM gave JinKi the name Onew was because they thought it described his personality well. Therefore, he is supposed to be mild mannered, even tempered, happy and smiling. Which Onew has said he has really tried to embrace as his public image. He always wants to be the positive force that makes everyone happy. Plus, he loves what he does and he loves his members, so why not show his happiness as much as possible? Onew is the leader that stands in the middle and holds everyone together, who is their support system. Which at times, even though he doesn't like to let it show, I think can be a little burdensome. No one can be happy all the time, and he also needs space to be able to breakdown and show his flaws, which is one of the reasons why I think he is currently on hiatus for his health because the life of always trying to be positive and happy and never show anyone what you are dealing with on the inside, may have caught up with him. But that said, Onew truly is our bright spot in SHINee. I don't think the members or us fans would have ever been able to handle everything that SHINee and Shawols have been through over the years without the strength and positivity that he has shown to all of us. He deserves to be recognized and appreciated for his positive spirit. SHINee wouldn't be SHINee without him.
Guys you need to watch these songs live, please look this up: SHINee - Dream girl + Runaway + Ready or Not + 3 2 1 + beautiful LIVE in Seoul SWC 4. And of course you MUST watch Everybody in Concert in Tokyo Dome. Every song of them sounds better, looks better live!!!!
In SHINee's "321" MV they are supposed to be cutouts that have come to life out of the pages of comic books or magazines, so what you see is that they are pictures that have been cut from the pages of the magazine. The magazine clippings have most likely been cut out by a fan who likes to collect their pictures and post them around their room, etc. That's why you see them sitting on a desk. The objects around them are either the background images of a comic book, or they are things that you would find sitting on a student's desk in their bedroom, etc. The song is about how we need to change our lives and do a reload, to break free from the monotony of life. "3-2-1, go for it, change it up and reload," etc. To really understand the MV and song you should look up the English translation of the lyrics. (The song will also make more sense when you see their live stage, which is pretty much a free-for-all that has very little choreography and is all about having fun.) Yet again, SHINee are breaking free from the traditional Kpop form and they have changed it up. Doing something unexpected once again, they released a dance track that doesn't have any choreography for the song. This song is intentionally supposed to have a more freestyle feel because it's about not putting restrictions on yourself and just living in the moment, etc. Now you have to check out both of their "321" performances at their SHINee World Concert 2014 in Japan and their Korean version at their SHINee World Concert IV (SWC4) in Seoul. This song is so iconic live because it's part of their fun set in their concert where they interact with the audience and their backup dancers during the performance. Also, in case you couldn't tell, this was only the short version of the song and MV because it was a Japanese song. That's why it just sort of ends, because there is actually more to it that isn't shown in this version.

In "Everybody" SHINee are supposed to be toy soldiers and they get their energy and power from the fans. So, in the MV the "creepy" boy or robot, or whatever you want to call him is supposed to represent Shawols who are using their energy to power the SHINee members up. The boy plugs in the power, which sends the electricity to the grid on the floor where the members are laying and it activates Key, which then sets off a chain reaction that proceeds to activate the rest of the members. The fans power SHINee up with their energy and that's why in the beginning they wake up from the floor and in the end, they run out of energy and they disengage and fall back down to the floor to wait for the Shawols to come and power them back up again. All the moves and everything you see, including the way they are dressed, is supposed to remind you of how a toy soldier would look and move. At one point you see Minho give the members an energy boost by pulling Key's pull string, winding Jonghyun's windup key, using a defibrillator to jumpstart Taemin and activating Onew by turning him on with a remote control. In the middle of the performance, where they come together and create that picture in their dance, they are supposed to look like an airplane, that's why Onew spins his arms round really fast like the propeller of a plane. The plane has to do with the fact that they are soldiers and they are depicting a scene from a battle during the Korean War. And the scene with the chess board is showing how they are soldiers engaged in battle as they advance across the board. It's a metaphor for how life is full of a series of moves and countermoves. Similar to the scene in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets where Harry, Ron and Hermione have to play the life-size wizards chess game to get to the Chamber of Secrets. Yet again, SHINee are trendsetters, EDM Dubstep was a new style of music and sound when "Everybody" came out in 2013, and they introduced the genre to the Kpop industry. And combining that with popping, locking and robotics as part of the choreography was also new. (This song and MV was one of the many reasons why SHINee won artist of the year at the Melon Music Awards in 2013, which is one of the biggest and most prestigious awards in Kpop.) And yes, 4 out of the 5 of them have major high notes in "Everybody."
