At the end of Married to the Music you stopped it too early and missed out on the ending shot. It zooms in on the face of the "perfect man" the "bride" made out of the SHINee members' body parts she stole throughout the MV (Key's face, Taemin's eyes, Onew's nose, Jonghyun's lips and Minho's body).
all these songs live, SHINee must be heard live... my favorite idols.

In generation 2 each member had a label, different from today. Jonghyun helped change that because he never wanted to be called lead vocalist and helped each member vocally and wrote so they had more. He helped train Taemin musically and you can tell because Taemin still has his mannerisms when he sings. He reaches his notes mirror to Jonghyun’s manner. He pushed Taemin and there are even thank you’s publically from Taemin on award shows to Jonghyun for his support etc. So you see hard work and growth literally from one song to the next. When you’ve been watching since the beginning and also work in the business (Hwd)I appreciate the progression. I also understand musically the journey in front and behind what it takes to achieve what Shinee has done in 15 years. It wouldn’t happen in America. You’d never have a lead give away lyric lines or create more for others than themselves. Jonghyun slowly pulled back to allow the group to move forward, that’s just not done here. As far as DDD Taemin would be pushed forward for his hiring position was dancer. He has always been pushed to be the dancer. Minho the visual. Jonghyun lead, Onew 2nd lead and key lead rap and vocal. K-pop doesn’t do that as much in that way anymore because of a SM Ent. experimental group called Shinee.

For Tell Me What To Do I also recommend watching a live performance as it has a fantastic choreography that isn't shown in the MV at all. Same with Married to the Music. It's one of their most creative and fun choreos but we see only tiny bits in the MV.

Would love to see you watch a concert! Shinee World 4 and Shinee World 5 are especially iconic, but Shinee was born to perform on stage (and sing, and dance, and write music...:-)), so you can't go wrong.
SHINee's "Married to the Music" was released in 2015 and it's supposed to be fun and upbeat, because they are "Married to the Music." The MV has a very "Rocky Horror Picture Show" vibe, and it's just about as iconic of a cult classic as that movie as well.
In the MV the girl in the wedding dress was collecting the best body parts from each of the members to create her ideal man. As you can see, no one is dead or dying in the MV, they are all still walking around, singing and dancing no matter what the girl does to them. She burned Minho's head because what she wanted was his body. She used fire because Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma" because of his passion for life and sports/games and his need to always win. Minho has the best body of the group, so, she took Minho's body, Key's head, Onew's nose, Taemin's eyes and Jonghyun's lips (for obvious reasons. LOL). If you watch the MV all the way to the end of the video, you will see that she spliced them all together and formed her perfect guy. In the end credits you see a person that has been created from all of the members' body parts, which is supposed to be the guy the girl created. (You should NEVER stop a Kpop video until it is completely finished because you never know what could be at the very end that helps to explain the story in the MV or will be connected to something in a future MV that might be important, etc.) In other words, music is a very fickle girl and she controls your life by picking and choosing the best parts and mashes them together to create the perfect song.
Fun fact: As part of SHINee's MV archives they used to have the rubber eyes, nose and lips, etc. that were created from molds of the members actual body parts and used as props in this MV, on display in the SM museum.
We now know where Key gets his sassy personality from because we discover he is full of lemons. And when she takes Onew's nose we see Onew's blood is orange like nacho cheese because he is known for his cheesy jokes, as the "old man" of the group, etc. LOL.
Their outfits and hair are supposed to look like they are dressed for a retro Halloween party. There isn't a dance practice for this song, but if you want to see the choreography even better, you should watch a live comeback stage. There is a lot more to this dance than you see in the MV. And if you check out their comeback stages, you will see their bow ties look like bats and some of their hats have witches' fingers, etc. (Every time they performed this song on music shows their outfits are different, so it's worth checking out more than one performance to see just how fun their outfits and stages were.) Everything's supposed to have that fun, campy horror/comedy look and feel.
You should see the behind-the-scenes footage of them filming the MV, th-cam.com/video/UlycRiRdPwc/w-d-xo.html. This will give you an even better look at just how much detail and work went into everything to do with "Married to the Music" and why it's such an iconic song.
"Married to the Music" is considered a Halloween must watch within the fandom and most of us make this MV part of our Halloween tradition every year. However, this song and MV came out in August, nowhere near Halloween. Halloween isn't really a big deal in Korea and it has only been in the last few years that Koreans have started to celebrate Halloween by holding costume parties. Halloween in Korea is pretty much a western culture transplant. But, the middle of summer is horror season in Korea. Koreans say they like to watch scary movies and shows in the summer because it gives them chills, which cools them down when it is hot. So, that's probably why they came up with this concept for "Married to the Music" as an August comeback theme.
SHINee really are one of the most iconic and influential groups. They are always setting trends, never following them.
Case in point, SHINee is known for being one of the very first groups to ever dress up in full costume for Halloween. They first did it for a fan meeting in 2013, and then they decided to show up to SM Entertainment's annual company dinner in costume. They had so much fun in costume that it gave Lee SooMan (the founder of SM) the idea to hold a costume party. Now SM is known for going all out for Halloween every year. (SM's annual Halloween events are like the Met Gala of Halloween parties, and it's usually attended by some of the biggest name celebrities in Korea.) As part of the party there is a costume contest and, in the past, the person with the best costume has won an all-expenses paid vacation trip. (SM Entertainment members are known for being some of the most competitive. They are the ones who go all out when it comes to dressing up -- always trying to outdo each other. So, it's a pretty steep competition among the top contenders every year. And each year they have to come up with something better than what anyone did the year before.) Key is very competitive when it comes to fashion, costumes included, and the last time he attended the Halloween party in 2018 he won. He came as Voldemort from Harry Potter. And in 2021 -- which was the first year the SHINee members were able to attend since the pandemic cancelled the event the previous year, and this was the first year since Onew, Key and Minho were discharged from the military -- Onew kept the tradition going. Onew dressed up as The Penguin from Batman for SM's Halloween House Party, and he received the award for best dressed. SHINee are the reason why Kpop groups and artists now dress up in costume and film special dance practice videos or do special things, etc. for Halloween. SHINee are such influencers that, one year when Key dressed up like Ronald McDonald from McDonald's and Onew was Colonel Sanders from Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), they created such a buzz and went viral worldwide that Key says McDonald's sent him a giant stack of coupons for free meals as a thank you for the advertising.

Thanks for the Shinee journey. It was very interesting for me all these months to watch how Shinee grew in Element (I’m not sure how to write the name correctly, if it’s not correct, then I apologize). Because at first his skepticism was clear, but it was nice to see how little by little the Shinee boys grew in him and he enjoys their performances.
The chord progressions on Married to the Music are amazing. For example the 4 chord progression at the end of each run of the chorus. It's kinda subversive to norms but still just seems to fit.
Sing your Song is such a happy place, and works so well as a fan song.
DxDxD is just another of those catchy SHINee tunes, right up there with Hitchhiking (which is a live you should watch).
Oh and absolutely you need to watch a Shinee World Concert. The roman numeral ones are their "world" concerts (a little Korea, little Japan, little of random other places) focusing on their Korean songs, and the ones labelled by year are their Japanese concert tours so mostly Japanese songs (or Japanese version of their Korean songs). The best in my opinion are 2014, IV, and V. There is quite a bit of awkwardness in the earlier ones; you can tell they had some growing pains. Of course, SWC 2018 is amazing, but also very difficult to watch if you love SHINee.

I was getting worried if you guys would watch the MTTM music video in time for Halloween!! It's one of my favorite MVs, the music is incredible and you really need to see a live version because the choreography is really good!! My suggestion for a live version is SWC5!!
About Sing Your Song, I think it's a really cute song but it's not one of my favorites... The live version works well!
Now about DxDxD, honestly, it's one of my favorite Japanese titles and I highly recommend reacting to the live version of the concert with the same title!

I adore SHINee …Shawol for 14yrs but Sing your Song makes me cringe (my IMO don’t come at me 😅)……I mean their voices are gorgeous and they look gorgeous but it’s just so cheesy…the MV..just no. Married to the Music on the other hand is genius. Everything about it…genius.
