I really like Samsung's A series, they have become really really good for the price range, I'm using the A34 and I couldn't ask for more for everyday average use, but I really wish they came in slightly smaller packages - they are becoming more and more difficult to hold and handle comfortably, not to mention pocket carry in summer clothing :)
I really like 6.6 inch on A55, but I do wish it to have 6.7, but 6,6 is also great. The bigger the screen the better it is to type on and also better for watching content too. As for handling, I am ok with it. You know A55 size is actually comparable to iphone pro maxes, which I think is the maximum largest phone size that you can still hold comfortably
I love the Google pixels but it’s annoying because the night mode isn’t good enough for my eyes so I keep getting headaches using them so I can’t use them
Don't worry, the pixel's fingerprint scanner is as useless as boobs on a bill. All phone manufacturers should ditch the optical fingerprint scanners for ultrasonic ones. Except for maybe the sub $200 phones.
idk man. My Galaxy S21FE is starting to get sluggish. Im really liking the Moto G Stylus 2024. I might buy that for shits and giggles. You try that yet?
My Samsung Galaxy A55 died after 1 drop after 1 week. Needless to say, I wish I have bought Google Pixel. But to Samsung's defense - my friends have A55 and theirs survived drops. Maybe mine was deffective.
"Im knee deep in the Samsung ecosystem.." brother if youre really knee deep youre getting any S series phone not a very weak, very gimped A series phone.
Ik have the A55 and not a problem here. Only the 1st day here and theire a small problem but the 2 second day everything worked great. Not laggy anymore. I make all my android phones on his fastest. Unlock developer settings and then 3 times animation off here and in other few settings animation off or less animation. Thats how you make your A55 smoother and faster and it works good here, also no heat problem here and good batterylife on this moment.
@@Sejuani89 Indeed, i make always the phone faster with the developer settings and 3 times animation off. Then is the speed so much better + the batterylife is good. No laggy here, the exynos is good for a midrange.
I don't think it's even close ,imma go with pixel if only I had enough money to buy

2:26 The Pixel has 27W wired and 18W wireless charging.
Actually,with respect, that's incorrect,the pixel has only 18 watts wired charging,and 7.5 watts wireless.😊
@@robertvogt1527 That is the Pixel 8a. I wouldn't blame you for getting the two mixed up because they are so similar.
@@pixelgaming7261This video is about the 8a...
I'll just wait for the Pixel 8 to go down in price. I got my pixel 5 for below 200 usd and it's still a very good phone to this day.
In my country, the Google Pixel 8 is *at least* twice as expensive as a Samsung A55.
I love the Google pixels but it’s annoying because the night mode isn’t good enough for my eyes so I keep getting headaches using them so I can’t use them
Also the A55 has Gorilla Glass Victus+, while you get original Victus on the Pixel 8.
The pixel only has gorilla glass 3 in fact.
@@robertvogt1527 The Pixel 8a has Gorilla Glass 3, while the regular Pixel 8 has Victus protection.
You are pretty bad at facts. 🙂
which one of them is bad at facts?
Pixel has AI support but some features like VPN are not functional in many countries outside the US.
I have an old phone but when I saw a Pixel 8 in a store it looks tiny. Screen space is very small for viewing content.
Mi Pixel 7 suddenly die today, now im looking for a cheaper Samsung , Pixel hardware will fail before 7 years granted.
Still using my A54, I'll wait for the pixel 9a to see if its worth an upgrade
yeah in my experience usually every 2 to 3 years is a better upgrade
Great video 👍🏻
Right now the same price for both where I live with a carrier.
Love samsung with all the costumization, thats absolutly amazing
8a would be a better comparison still this was a good one too
Za rok czasu w 2025 proponuje zrobic porownanie w tedy pixel bedzie chodzil jak nowy a samsung bedzie sie zawieszal i inne problemy beda go borykac
I like the a55 more because of the cheaper price but the bezels are so big.. Looks older than my s9 lol
You're joking right? S9 looks waay outdated. The top and bottom bezels of S9 are so 2018.
Lmao
@@Sejuani89 but side bezels way thinner.
@@maxjames00077 only the side. No symmetry. A55 is closer to symmetrical
@@Sejuani89 nah
@@maxjames00077 yeah convince yourself. S9 is a pre 2020s design. It's outdated af
Ive had my A 55 for about 2 weeks now ,its a realy awesome phone but the fingerprint sensor struggles to reoconize my finget atleast 4/10 times
Don't worry, the pixel's fingerprint scanner is as useless as boobs on a bill.

I have both A55 and Pixel 7 but A55 has better fingerprint scanner and works all the time. Never had an issue
Try registering the fingerprint twice, it will help alot
prefer pixel smaller phones as i dont have shovel hands

Punkbutler My s22 ultra kicked the bucket I love the s-pen so I bought the new Motorola 5g stylus OMG I returned it It’s not for me Good luck 👍👍👍👍
Pixel even better camera even than Samsung sseries
It got some problems with human skin

oh wow
Why are you dropping your phones?
The Google 8 is too small. The bigger the screen the better it is.
But some people prefer small phones. The pixel 8 pro is there for that.
Get a tablet with LTE or 5G, it beats the screen size of any phone!
@@silvanigra I don't really use a tablet. My phone i use has a 6.8" screen
@@mike.4277 his point is if you want a bigger screen there are tablets out there cheaper than both these phones.
I like a smaller phone as well
I was surprised to see that the pixel is smaller then my s21
They're both Samsung phones, but I'll choose the genuine A55.
Google have good sound🎉🎉🎉
I'm knee deep in the Samsung ecosystem so I'd go with the A55. Also, I'm betting you'll be able to pick up the A55 for $350 on sale soon.

Exynos 1480 is laggy. For perfomance Pixel 8 is better
I've been using it and it hasn't lagged once or heat up . The 1480 is actually good
Tensor G3 (Exynos) on Pixel 8 is laggy too, and battery life and modem is worst than A55.
